i don't think your wife would be jealous about it. but if you think she does, then spend some time with her na kayong dalawa lang. it wouldn't hurt if you date her once in a while.  :)

Just like swtgrl_bee, I would sleep better knowing that my husband loves our daughter very much. Plus, iba naman ang pagmamahal sa anak kesa sa asawa. Are you asking that question because deep inside you feel na mejo nane-neglect mo your wife?

^That's good. Yes, go out on dates. Minsan kase couples focus more on being parents and forget that they're also supposed to be lovers :)

I won't get jealous also like most of the moms but what if di namin pareho yung wife mo?

The fact that naisip mo na baka nagseselos asawa mo sa anak mo eh baka may napansin ka sa kilos nya for you to think that. So para maiwasan na yan or makabawi ka na if may ganun na nga eh start doing things for you wife too. Sabi nga "A happy wife, is a happy life".

“The best way a father can love his children is to love their mother.” -John Wooden

I think the other forms of fatherly love are secondary to that.

I haven't heard a mom who gets jealous of their own children. Personally, I feel blessed to know pa nga that my husband deeply loves my daughter. What I normally hear is a husband getting jealous of their kids because he has become number two to his wife. If he doesn't involve himself with the child, he might feel ostracized from the strong mother-child bond.

You're still BOTH a husband and a father, just give your best on each of your life role.

No, I in fact love him more for being a great  father to our kids.
But of course, that is because he never neglected me.  He also does not take the kids' sides  versus me.

The last sentence:

He also does not take the kids' sides  versus me.

Well, kids are good at "The Sources and Uses of Power", they sure are naturals at power plays to get their wants. Hahaha.   So it is a  requirement that the kids see hubby and I are a united front (though we may disagree on an issue -- we do it in private between just us 2).  That way, we are not played off each other.

So, if you are referring to:
But of course, that is because he never neglected me.

In addition to my wants he delivers on/attends to (so it isn't just the kids whose  dreams "come true", hahaha)  ---
"Never neglected" refers to his staying "connected" to me,  not just the kids.

What am I trying to say?
My husband can even love my kids more, as a mother I can embrace that --  but hubby & kids should not form a club that excludes me.
