We're going back to HK in March, and I hope visa-free pa tayong regular passport holders. And if HK decides to apply yung visa sa lahat, sana naman they'd be considerate enough to give time sa atin. Di rin biro ang kumuha ng requirements for VISA, lalo na ITR.

I think the reason why madalian yung visa for gov't officials and diplomats is because they also have ordinary passports. My husband's a diplomat so he has a blue passport, but he also has a brown passport, so if we go to HK in march, he'll just use the brown passport. Dahil yung red and blue passports, ginagamit lang yun for gov't.-related purposes.

Anyway, really hoping na wala pang visa by March.

We're planning to have a vacation pa naman by April or May, sana huwag muna nila implement yung VISA policy sa regular passport holders.

i went hk last june 2013 booked at ah shan hostel/a inn/dragon inn in mongkok =( i dont recommend it. super small room in old building. the only advantage is the location. hehe medyo napagalitan ako ni bf nung nakit niya po.

hello mga sis! matagal na akong silent lurker dito sa gt. thanks sa forum na to madami ako natutunan. hindi naman masyadong malamig sa hongkong (para sa akin ha. around 17-24 degrees yung 4days na nagstay kami january 30-february 2) naramdaman ko lang yung lamig nung nagaantay kami sa ferry going back to macau.

I'm so excited on our HK trip, though sa April pa. Nike shoes and Lacoste bag ang plan ko bilhin dun, if mura. Saan po kaya maganda tumingin ng mga ito sa Hong Kong? One more thing, if in case last minute shopping....ok din po kaya prices sa HKIA?

With regards naman po sa reduced travel tax ng 3yr old son ko, ok lang po if dun na lang mismo sa airport mag-apply nun? Ma-grant kaya sya ng discount? Kasi we're from laguna, Kung sasadyain namin iluwas sa Manila iyon estimating the transport cost (gas, toll fee, etc) parang ibinayad ko na din ng adult fee iyong na-discount ko. Advantage lang, di na kami extra effort na dumating maaga airport....by the way we're flying from Clark. Pa-advice naman po, thanks in advance.

^yes sis sa Clark kami sumakay last Christmas nagpunta kami Hong Kong, mayroon discount sa travel tax yung mga bata kahit na di mo nakuha ng reduced travel tax, I think may additional na 200 para sa processing kaya  1,010 ang bayad travel tax plus processing fee

Thank you mom_c for sharing, di naman sya ganun time consuming at hassle sa oras ng flight? May bukod ba na counter to apply for the kiddo's travel tax or same lang din sa adults? Nagre-research na kasi ako ahead of time para di masyado mangapa. First timers kasi to go outside PH.

^mabilis lang sis. same lang ang pila sa pagbayad ng travel tax for all passengers, bigay mo lang magkakasabay mga passports nyo pagbabayad ng travel tax at terminal fee. pag nakita naman may kasama kayo bata, automatic compute na nila yan.

I am here at HK now. Hindi na ganun kalamig. Cardigan or light jacket will do. At noon malimig ang hangin pero tirik na tirik ang araw.

Wala rin masyadong sale Although nakabili ako ng luggage sa Citygate at 50%.

Natapon ko na yung receipt pero travel tax nung mga pamangkin ko half lang like around P810 while P1620 sa adult.

Edit: Found the receipt pero wala nga yung P200 na additional na receipt binigay sa akin

^yes sis half travel tax pero may additional processing fee na 200.00

^Correct. Basically Php610.00 lang ang discount ng mga kids sa Phil. Travel Tax since you will have to pay for RTT processing fee of Php200.00

There is no discount for the Airport/Terminal Fee for kids. They pay full. Only infants/toddlers 2yrs and below are exempted from paying the terminal fee.

Ok, maybe di ko napansin yang 200 when I paid. Yung 810 lang talaga natatandaan ko na receipt.
