Hi i am from Toronto. Yes it is advisable to get
Life insurance or critical illness insurance. Para din naman sa safety net
mo yun sis. Or para mau maiwan ka kahit magkano if something bad happens to
you sa mga mahal mo sa buhay. Ontario health does not cover everything.

Sisses, iba ang critical illness sa life insurance. Life insurance is pag namatay. CI is pag nadiagnose ka ng sakit na qualified under CI coverage stated sa insurance package.

i would say health insurance ok pa, pero life insurance naman siguro pag andito na family mo or kung dalaga ka naman hwag muna kasi sino beneficiary mo mo at kung sa pinas pa maraming paperworks yan, and di ganon kadali ang pag process so tress lang sa kanila yun.

mga sisses, ano yung critical illness insurance? sorry ngayon lang ako nakarinig noon.
ang insurnce na maganda yung covered lang yung gamot, mata saka ngipin. minsan masyado nlang ginagawang complicated ang mga binebentang insurance pero pag kelangan mo it turns out di pala covered. so pag critical illness ibiga sabihin pag critical lang? hahaha.

Hi sisses, thanks sa pov, lonelymiss yup tama ka, there are certain kinds if diseases na covered lang, critical nga daw, so deadly, tapos my choices pa about moneyback, sabi after 15 years of paying you have the option if you wanna get all the money that you paid, or continue paying and be insured of $50k, if hindi ka nagkasakit til 75y/o  ibabalik daw lahat ng nahulog mo. Sabi ng bf ko nga wag na lang daw ako kumuha kasi scam lang daw, hehe nega, and ipunin ko na lang or invest yung money ko daw.
So kayo sissies wala naman kayong mga ganyang insurance? Hindi naman kawalan kung hindi ako kumuha db? Natetempt nga lang ako kasi may mga friends ako na kumuha.

If you are working for a company with good benefits, I'd say na wag na kumuha ng personal insurance. Check mo yung group insurance mo with your company kung ano ang mga covered. CI kasi kung may critical illness ka kasi, you can get a lump sum. parang kumbaga eh yun ang pang-finance mo sa sarili mo dahil hindi ka na nagwowork diba. let's say may cancer ka, so pwede ka na makaclaim (provided qualified ang type of illness mo) and magtravel at ifulfill ang bucket list.  Ang hospitalization naman and a certain amount ng prescription is covered na by the government diba so para sakin, wag na yung CI. kung may ipon ka naman eh di sa bahay ka na lang.

Life insurance naman is preference na lang yan. yung beneficiary kasi ang important. Sino ang makeclaim if namatay ka diba. Kami kasi mag-asawa, meron naman kami pareho sa office pero hindi na kami kumuha ng personal. May work naman kami pareho so kung mamatay ang isa sa min, hindi naman malulumpo financially ang maiiwan. May mortgage insurance naman for mortgage ng bahay.

Health insurance and importante kasi yung talaga magagamit mo.

Ako question, kumukuha ba kayo ng RRSP?

^^don't get it and hwag ka magpapadala dahil kumuha ibang tao. getting an insurance is a commitment that you will pay for a long time and tama na i save mo na lang ang money mo sa ibang bagay kahit na konti lang ang tubo nyan at least may tubo. saka critical illness, andito tayo sa canada na lahat ng hospital, doctors bill binabayaran natin sa tax natin so wala ka na babayaran kahit singko hindi tulad sa pinas na ikaw magbabayad so i would say scam yan. yung kaibigan ko rin taga ontario pinipilit kumuha ng ibat-ibang insurance sabi ko sa kanya health insurance ang kunin mo yung covered ang gamot, mata saka ngipin dhail yun ang hindi covered ng healthcare dito. and depende rin sa trabaho mo kung covered yun hawag na rin like sa company ng asawa ko covered kami lahat so no need na kumuha pa ng iba. remember to spend your money wisely.

^i have rrsp, but my mil told me na it's not worth it kahit na sabihin mong tax deductible yun dahil accrdg to her pag kukunin mo yun halos 50% na lang makukuha mo dahil may sinabi syang dahilan saka pag kinuha mo yun in time iaadd iyun sa yearly income mo so magbabayad ka ng tax doon.

Sino dito mahilig mag coupon? naaadik ako ngayon sa mga coupon kasi ang dami kong na save example yung febreze spray and car freshener nabili ko lang sya ng halos .50 cents - $1.00 isa. and dove deodorant nasa $1- $1.50.

Thank you sis, i was just waiting for advices na wag na nga kumuha, now maisi save ko na lang ang supposed to be pang insurance.
Yung employer ko madalas sa costco namimili tapos last time ginamit nila yung discount coupon from there.

namimili rin ako sa costco only on sale kasi i notice na mahal sya compare sa ibang stores kahit na bulk. madalas ko bilhin sa costco yung grilled chicken and tuxedo cake. the best ang dalawang yan for me.

Ang gusto ko lang sa Costco eh yung food hehe. Yung husband ko naman doon nagpapa-gas kasi mas mura.

We only buy sa costco pag intention talaga namin na bumili ng bulk like paper towels, lotions etc. dalawa lang kasi kami sa bahay so pag food, baka maexpire. But we like buying tiramisu and seaweed salad sa costco.

Anyhoo, where do you get your coupons?

Sa Costco, I only buy paper towels, bathroom tissues, soaps, detergents at kung ano ano pang panglinis ng bahay. Sa food, usually cereals at snacks lang and some frozen food. Di ako bumibili ng karne or chicken. Mas gusto ko laging fresh or every week bumibili ng karne.

And I agree on the insurance. Pag ok naman ang company, check mo na lang yung group insurance nyo.
