sis phine0428

Makikita mo at maappreciate ang VUL from 5 years onwards. From what I know, usually first 3-5 years sa charges halos lahat napupunta kaya maliit lang ang fund value.

Please, when someone advises you to terminate, don't do that. Mas lalo kang malulugi.

When in doubt, please join Pinoy Insurance Talk (group in FB) and maraming makakatulong sa iyo.

I also have a VUL 6k quarterly so lumalabas 24k annually. I think yours is too much.

I agree with sis brandi. Baka pwede maadjust at bawasan yung sobra na premium na allocated for investment. Ask your FA if pwede or ask sa PIT.

Fund allocation ko is Peso Secure Fund and Peso Growth Fund at 50% each. Variable Life Insurance po mga sis.

Thanks much mga sis for all your replies. But just wanted to get lang other opinion din...

Any feedback re philam life guardian 5?

Based on my understanding, halos same sila nung axa flexiprotect na nagustuhan ko. Tapos computation almost the same pero chaper lang si guardian 5 than flexiprotect ng very minimal, in fact, non significant naman.

So far, I'm eyeing this one and axa health max 20. Feeling ko titigil na ako sa pagbili. I will purchase 1 after the other this month and next month respectively. 😂

^Sis, ok sana yung Guardian 5 (1m face amount) and AXA Flexiprotect kaso wala Critical illness, medyo nanghinayang lang ako. Parehong mura no nasa 11-12k Php lang premium for 5 yrs. Pero life and accident lang talaga coverage.

Still looking around.

^sis, if it's about sa Guardian 65 post before - the critical illness coverage is 1M.

Compare ko yung dalawa:

Guardian 65 + Accident & Health w/ medical reimbursement + CI =
21k x 20 years = 210k

Flexiprotect - mataas yung sum assured but you have additional on top of 12k if may critical illness rider =
12k x 30 (up to age 65) = 360k wala pa CI

kung baga pili ka na lang if you prefer higher sum assured or one with lower sum assured but with  critical & accident riders.

Note: both covered to 65. 20years sa guardian dahil level premium - konti lang daw dagdag sa premium kaya iniksian na lang kesa up to 65 ang paying preriod. Not sure if meron si axa na ganyan.

^Sis, ok sana yung Guardian 5 (am face amount) and AXA Flexiprotect kaso wala Critical illness, medyo nanghinayang lang ako. Parehong mura no nasa 11-12k Php lang premium for 5 yrs. Yes sis same yung guardian 5 and flexiprotect yung until what age lang na coverage varies. Are you sure flexiprotect is until 70 plus? Kasi hanggang 65 lang daw talaga yan?

I told the agent that I'm not interested on VULs. And yung product nila na hindi rider ang critical illness benefit is a VUL maybe that's why she just gave me this guardian 5.

I'm planning to get a separate ome which is the healthmax of axa. 20 years to pay with major and minor critical illness benefit na hindi rider. Usually kasi rider talaga to.

I would like to get a term insurance renewable every 5 years that's why I am considering either axa flexiprotect or philam guardian 5. Almost the same amount of premium for 4M face amount but difference is one is until age 65 and the other is until 80. Yes maikli na life span natin, but what if di ba? Ayoko dumating yung time na if ever ma surpass ko yung age na yun hindi ko na ma renew dahil until age 65 lang. Along with this term insurance, I would like to get another insurance that focuses more on health din naman and I think axa healthmax 20 is a good choice.. so far.. will be getting 1M for this one lang. Max of 2 claims for minor illnesses which is 200k each total of 400k. For major illnesses, you'll get the entire amount.

So if something happens, hindi na problem yung hospitalization ko, may sukli pa beneficiaries ko ng sobra sobra kasi 4M yung term ko, plus the 1M VUL I've got 5 years ago from Sunlife. By the way, yung hospitalization na to hindi yung na hospitalized ka lang dahil nagkasakit lang ng mababaw na dahilan lang fyi. May iba kasi hindi pa masyado familiar sa terms. Baka ma misinterpret. May hospitalization benefit/rider din kasi na pag meron ka nun, the benefit that you can get is a discount/reimbursement from your hospitalization with a minimum stay of 3 days. If you have an HMO, I don't think that this one's really beneficial, IMO. Napakaliit na amount pero hindi reasonable yung price niya as a rider.

sis brandi, magkano premium mo sa Healtmax20? I assume 20 years to pay?

Naghahanap din ako ng health plan for my brother. May binigay si philam pero 5 years to pay lang daw yun available. 100k ang premium. Pero total package. Yun nga lang VUL.

I have one sa Sun Life - Sun Life Assure - pero once na claim, terminated na yung policy and maclaim lang if critical illness talaga. Premium increses every 5 years.

Yung hospitalization na mention mo, is it yung income benefit or kasama reimbursements?

^Quoted me 26k annually for a 1M coverage. Pwede naman babaan face amount and I think it will be cheaper.

Di ba sis, merong hospitalization na rider wherein may makukuha ka na specific amount kunyari 1k per day basta max of 3 days stay, I'm not pertaining about that 1. What I am talking about are the minor and critical illness benefit which usually comes as a rider most of the time pero sa healthmax, it is not. Included talaga siya sa product. Example for this 1M face amount, 1M death benefit pero pag nagkasakit ako which will fall under their listed major illnesses like stroke, etc, 1M din makukuha ko. That's why I am considering on getting this one aside from getting another term insurance.

Sana na explain ko. Hindi talaga ako magaling mag explain eh. Hahaha!  ;D

Additional info, guaranteed cash endowments are available starting age 70 if you're still alive by then. This is not a VUL product.

Eto sis yung sinasabi ko na pag na hospital ka may bawas yung room rate max of 3 days stay so pinatanggal ko kasi I don't really see the need to pay for it cos I have HMO. I wasn't able to ask lang if I can put a CIB rider on flexiprotect kasi interested ako doon sa healthmax na aside from death insurance, more on health benefits siya. At this point of our lives hindi natin alam kelan tayo ma stroke, MI, etc. pag na hospitalized ka ng matagal, need mo ng funds what if you stayed longer and wala na credit HMO mo. So feleling ko advantageous talaga tong healthmax sa part na to. Ma confine man ako due to a serious illness in time or not, win win pa din kasi I'll still get e death benefit from it. Pag yung insurance lang for death, paano naman kung mag stay ako longer in a hospital esp ICU, and yun nga wala na funds, antayin pa nila mawala ako para makapag claim di ba. It's just me. Ma plano kasi ako masyado hehe gusto ko lagi may plan A to Z 😂

sis brandi, bale aside sa Healthmax - 1m death benefit, if you're diagnosed with CI, you'll get 1m din? If may minor illness , may certain percentage din na makukuha?

Pwede palagyan ng CI rider ang flexiprotect. If age 36 with 1m coverage - 5160 charge ng rider. Pag dating ng 70 it will be  109k for the CI rider.

Pag major illness sis, you'll get the entire face amount pero wala na death benefit. Pero pag minor illness, max of 2 claims then the rest, it's as good as your death benefit na.

Sis rory, healthmax 20 is 20 years to pay. If something happened in between that span, you or your beneficiary/ies don't need to to pay and finish the remaining years. Example on your 3rd year, you developed stroke which falls under major illness, your beneficiary can claim the entire face amount automatically para they can pay for your hospital bills if and ever, no funds available at all or your health card is insufficient na. Pero while you're still alive, you'll pay it for only 20 years and you are covered until age 100. Starting age 70, you are already entitled for cash endowments.

brandi thanks Sis!

Sorry OT.

Sis gypske nakita ko nga yan before eto yung sample nung akin renewable till 69 to and premium increases every year.

The initial premium for your desired plan based on an annual payment mode is

P27,824.00
Prime Care is a yearly renewable term plan until age 69. Premiums for the following years may change based on the attained age of the insured.

Parang di practical for me, mas prefer ko yung hassle free di renew ng renew and pang matagal sana.

Nagpa quote ako flexiprotect with CIB rider, na realize ko, renew mo din yun every 5 years mas tataas pa yung babayadan kaya baka I'll get the healthmax na lang talaga.
