I also got a term insurance 3 years ago because I was convinced by the different reviews that I read in online discussions. Kasi if same amount din lang ang premium might as well get the VUL.

We go through different stages in life. From single, to having a family, till retirement stage. It is recommended for breadwinners to get additional life coverage, and Term life is the cheapest way.

^ Ask your existing insurer kung meron ka nang existing term insurance - baka mas madali na taasan na lang yun cover mo, than to get a new one.

We're also looking for a term insurance next year para sa mga kapatid ni hubby - kasi sabi ko malamang din na kami ang pupuntahan ng mga pamangkin namin kapag may nangyari sa parents nila in the next 10 years. After 10 years, pag graduate na lahat ng mga pamangkin and sana may mga trabaho na rin, tapos na rin yun insurance.

^basically what my Husband and I discussed recently, after namin kumuha at magkaron na ng sobra, mga kapatid naman namin i-push namin or iassist kasi malamang ending kung sino nakakaluwag yun ang mag shoulder. Ganon na nga nangyari sa parents ko since pareho silang hinde nakapagprepare for their future.

I am also pushing my mom to get one. ;D

^Mga Sis,

Palagay nyo dito?

Philam - Guardian 5 - Term Insurance

5 yrs renewable (tumataas premium kada renew)

11,500 annual premium

Of course covered ka lang in that 5 yrs

1m face amount (Death and Accident + hospitalization riders)

NO CRITICAL ILLNESS - di daw pwede magdagdag

Yes 4M yung ginawa sakin pero up to you kung gusto mo lower na face amount. Pwede ka magdagdag ng rider such as critical illness, hospitalization, disability benefit rider so on. By the way, yun yung computation sakin ha. I'm 30. Siyempre mag base yon depende sa age mo. Renewable din yun and increase siya premium every 5 years.

San ka based Sis? ;D

Haha.

I have a Manulife Horizons and been paying for 30 months already. I am paying around 59thou per year or 4900++ per month.

14thouplus is for my 1M critical illness
almost 40thou is for the annual premium where the 2300 is for investment.
Coverage is life insurance of P1M.

After checking my fund value, i computed that I have already paid 69000 for investment but my fund value now is only at 38000.

Been having second thoughts already considering this. What is the best thing to do? I plan to just shift to a TErm LIFE then find something else to invest on.
