I availed VUL sa Prulife, 10 years to pay, and my agent is quite good, answers all my queries and I'm satisfied with the answer I'm getting. Yung offer nya sakin pasok sa budget ko, kasi yun din naman yung tinanong nya before and hindi ko naramdaman na for the sake of commission kaya nya ko kinakausap, it was more like, "we're friends that's why I want to help you".  :)

^sis, issue age of sun life assure is only between 18-60. Coverage until age 70. Might not be a good choice for senior clients. Very strict ang Sunlife sa term insurance and definitely subject to medical na ang parents mo due to age.

^ thanks sis sa reply! too bad for my parents tho.
its difficult pala to find insurance for senior citizens. can you recommend any?
else, we might go with SPVUL na lang.

^totoo yan mahirap talaga pag matanda na. Yung health risks din kasi mas mataas na. That's why we always keep telling our clients na kumuha na habang bata at healthy pa. Yung iba kasi, too late na bago marealize yung importance ng insurance.

Anyway, yes, pwede yan sa spvul. But better to consult your advisor. Or if you don't know any, just send me a pm. Will try to help you the best way I can.

^nyek.. ano pa't naging "advisor" sya kung wala rin naman syang maadvise sayo hehe.. it's not supposed to be like that. 😕

Seriously, it's our job to help our clients to match a certain product to their needs. Ok naman na nagresearch ka and you did your homework. Pero sa dami ng products, nakakalito talaga yan. Dyan papasok ang role ng advisor.

^sis for me worth it, unless you have millions to use come the time you're diagnosed with cancer or suddenly have a heart attack and can't work for months to year/s. Kasi if you wait na may mangyari, madedeny ka na or if ever maapprove, baka mataas na premium mo.

Try to check other insurance companies and compare their benefits sa premium mo na 40k.  Ask the FA to explain things you don't understand para maliwanagan ka (charges, benefits, etc)

Hi, sisses! Our term insurance is from AXA. Our quarterly premium is 8,100 with critical conditions rider na. Lump sum is 3.5M each for hubby and myself. We are currently 42 and 46 years old. Kaso till age 70 lang pala ang coverage nito (FlexiProtect plan) kaya ipapaconvert ko to Whole Life Plan sa FA namin. I can PM her name and number to those of you who are interested. Wala po akong commission haha I just want to help out. :)

Super helpful and mabait siya. Quick to respond to questions and very patient mag explain. :)

Sis, if you plan to retire in Ph, better get one din from here while insurable pa.  Advisors nowadays are trained to recommend solutions based on your needs,  priorities and budget. Kung hindi kaya ng budget, get term insurance, and convert na lang to permanent when you settle for good na. What we avoid is yung hassle na magpa-medical ka pa if you start getting a coverage during the older years.

Hello sisses! Ask ko lang, is it advisable to get a term insurance as top up to VUL? Nagpaquote kasi ako sa Pru life and meron sila na <8k lang ang premium fo a 15 year term. Iniisip ko kasi to get a 'back up' insurance for my husband and I.

Kami 2 term life insurance namin - isang life+critical illness at life+accident
Sakto siya sa computation ng kailangan na amount ng beneficiary in the event of.

We go through different stages in life. From single, to having a family, till retirement stage. Bawat stage, iba ang purpose. Kung madagdagan ang kids,  madadagdagan ang dependent sa income. Kung madagdagan ang income, tumataas ang lifestyle ng family, maaring maiba ang lifestyle kung mawala ang breadwinner. It is recommended for breadwinners to get additional life coverage, and Term life is the cheapest way.
