Hi girls, may question lang ako regarding insurance.. im thinking of getting one pero 1 of my future goals is to work abroad and migrate. Pano if I get an insurance now (term), then if in case na may mangyari saken outside PH, should they cover it padin ba?

^ It depends on the insurance company

meron kasing restrictions depending on where you are when death strikes

may mga bansa na hindi covered

kaya merong tanong sa application form whether you plan to be outside the country in the next X number of years

For example, if the country you are in is high risk (Afghanistan) merong insurance company na hindi mag-iinsure. Pero meron din na pwede

Risk on life kasi ang pinaguusapan dito.

for 28 yr old female non smoker,

a 2M coverage starts at 18,960.00 per annum

a 1M coverage starts at 9,680.00 per annum

Kasama na dito ang accidental death benefit and total disability benefit (waiver of premium)

This is coverage until age 70. Madaming pwedeng mangyari from age 28 to age 70, lalo na sa health.

If nothing happens to you till age 70, you get nothing? Possible to renew beyond age 70?

That's correct. This is pure insurance - to cover for critical illness if it happens from current age until age 70, or death claim, whichever comes first.

That's why if you want na may makukuha, you need to invest separately.

If nothing happens to you till age 70, you get nothing? Possible to renew beyond age 70?

Merong question sa application form if you plan to travel outside Philippines for the next 1 year or 2. Kasama yun sa risk assessment. Ang ini-insure kasi is yung current life / health situation and near future plans. Now kung na-insure ka na and then may plano ka umalis, contact your agent kung ano ang limitations ng bansa na pupuntahan mo in terms of availability of Sun Life centers. Kasi ang issue jan is claims.

^^sis thank you.

eto quote saken ng Manulife:

2M Yearly renewable term- P5,038.20
2M critical illness rider- P 8, 070.

OR

^saan ka ba mas comfortable sis? yung renewable yearly, yearly ang increase ng premium or yung fixed ang premium with same benefits? i-weigh mo sis san ka mas magbebenefit in the long run.

hi mga sis, anyone here can recommend a good and trusted insurance agent from Sunlife, Philamlife Gen, BPI-Philamlife and Manulife. Please PM me if you know any reliable, good and trustworthy yung persons na naexperience niyo na yung service. im not quite happy with the service that my agent (Sunlife) is giving me right now.

I need to sign up for a Term Insurance with Critical Illness, Accident and Total Disability Rider. i'm already investing in MF,UTIF and equities so a VUL would not be suitable for me since i would like to do the investing on my own.

i noticed din na kapag Term Insurance ang inoopen ko hindi siya masyado helpful unlike VUL, a friend told me na malaki daw kasi ang Commision sa VUL kaya ganun. im actually very disappointed kasi this person was recommended to me by a friend and i didn't realize he will turn out to be like that. i even recommended some people to him pa. oh well when it comes to money and personal interest people really change.

looking forward to hearing from you mga sis. TIA!  :-)

m_lim, yun din pinagiisipan ko. If Term + CI and disability riders, or just plain term + separate investments (MF, UITFS, etc). Right now I'm leaning towards just plain term. Most if not all of them define critical illness as that, critical ka.

But I know that's way more expensive than just CI kasi mas malaki chance to claim the benefit.
Sorry I forgot alin company nagpprovide..threw away all the proposals na.

If you're getting just term, better to make it complete and cover illness plus accident.
Also, if more on sickness benefit yung concern, baka mas ok kung health plan ang kunin instead of insurance?

Sorry I meant health plan na parang HMO. Mahal nga lang daw yun.

In case you have additional funds, ok din yung hospital stocks para free/discounted hospital fees.

Insurance kasi usually CI talaga rider so beneficiaries lang maka kuha.
