Sis, I'm currently shopping term insurance.  What I got is from manulife 9k annual premium for 3M face value, then sa insular naman na I-insure 65 is 8k annual premium for 1M face value. Wala pa ako nakuha from philam.

tnx sis smm. so far this are the quoted premiums i have @ age 35:

Insular - 1M - 7390
Sunlife - 1M(critical illness) - 8500
Philam (based on website) - 8k

Seems like it ranges from 8k-9k for 1M. still waiting for quotation from Manulife and hopefully mababa talaga baka don na lang ako kuha. Feedback naman sis if matuloy ka sa manulife. tia!!

I can attest to Manulife's affordability. They have the lowest rates in the market, yet still among the top insurance companies. They have this minimum premium limit of 5k though, so if you're young and only needing about 1M or less of life insurance coverage, it might be better to go with other insurance companies. For example, a 30-year-old can get a 1M face amount for 2-3k at Philam Life. If that person goes to Manulife, s/he has to get maybe around 2M in order to meet the 5k minimum premium. That premium might be too expensive and that amount might be too much for that person's needs.

mga sis ano po ibig sabihin kapag ang isang term insurance ay convertible to a permanent plan? Yung permanent plan ba ay whole life insurance? For example kumuha ako ng yearly renewable term insurance, then after 5 years ipapa convert ko sya sa permanent plan, ibig sabihin ba magiging whole life insurance na yun?
also , same kaya ang annual premiums pag ganun?

sana po may mag explain, salamat po

sis, how long will you be paying for the I-insure 65 with annual 8k premium? yearly, 5, or 10 yrs?

TIA!

^ The 65 there stands for age 65. So its the same premium
every year until you reach age 65.

@lavinia, yes that's correct..tataas xempre ang premium
kung ano man ang premium ng whole life policy, yun rin
magiging premium mo.

^thanks bro/sis...
so ang difference with the 1, 5, 10 and up to 65 is the premium?
sa 5 or 10 yrs, tumataas ang premium, whereas in I-insure 65, same amount na?

Yep, pretty much.
Its how many years the premiums stay level for.

I got myself a yearly renewable term insurance, so every
year it renews and the premium is still the same so far.
But according to the premium schedule my premium will
be going up in a few years.

when the time comes na ipapaconvert mo na to a permanent plan ang term plan mo, they will base your premium sa current age mo

Hi sisses

May nakapag avail na ba sa inyo  nung Philam Life Guardian 65? Sa website may illustration na you can pay for 10 years only then cover ka na till 65 years old. Tama ba yung understanding ko?  :D

Kung meron man dito na 30 yo din tapos Guardian 65, 10 years to pay din ang kinuha. Will you mind sharing how much your annual premium is? Kahit di sakto, just need a ballpark figure for my research. Im still filtering insurance products and companies kasi bago ako kumausap ng advisors.

How do you get quotations?

Do you fill up their online/inquiry form and get the quotations/proposals thru email?
Or you talk to the advisor first before getting a proposal?

@ycel0612, kung kahit hindi sakto ay oks na sayo
then the figure in the site's illustration should be enough
for you.

Normally, women will have a slightly cheaper premium.
So, its a little less than a man's 6,990 annual premium
