Sis mischievous, we attended the first seminar kanina..medyo confused pa ko kaya hindi ko muna pursue 'yung membership..when i asked them if i can avail the philam term insurance without purchasing the kaiser, sabi nila need daw muna mag avail ng kaiser before mag avail ng term insurance sa philam..eh actually, plan ko lang sana is to avail the term insurance kaya i want to be a member of img..looks like magkaiba ng explanation sa atin..

Talaga? Sabi sakin na pwede daw i avail yung ibang products without the Kaiser. I'll try to talk to my other colleagues dun. I haven't availed of the insurance kasi di ko pa need now, just the Kaiser plg. I'll update you sis. :)

i am planning to get my husband term insurance. nagpaquote ako sa SunLife.

^sis, sun safer life is term insurance while i believe the one na with critical illness is sun lifeassure. i like sun lifeassure coz the way it works is kung ano ang mauna - critical illness or death - dun ibibigay 1M. if critical illness claim, you get the 1M for treatment. if death claim naman, the beneficiary gets 1M.

pero pls. note na pagnagclaim ka na ng critical illness, wala na ang insurance. :) terminated na ang contract.

pero this is one of the plans na for me sulit talaga. hope this helps!

Hi! If I may please ;) in Manulife, for YRT (yearly renewable term) of a 33 years old , female non smoker, premium is 8,780.00 annual for a 1 million coverage. WITH Critical Illness of 1M and if death is due to accident, beneficiaries will get 2M benefit.

Critical Illness benefit when claimed does not forfeit the insurance coverage :)

I got Manulife's YRT with Maxi(Something) and  Enhanced Critical Illness
riders for both myself and my wife. In case one of us dies, gets disabled,
or get sick we're covered and we can pay off our home.

There were others with cheaper term products but after adding
the riders, either its cheaper but with less coverage or more expensive
and the same coverage as Manulife's.

So we got the one from Manulife

Hi sis, I'd like to confirm:

Since this is yearly renewable term, there may be some instances wherein the insurance company may require you to undergo a medical exam once the renewal period of 1 year is over. If you're declared medically unfit, you may be denied insurance protection, or you may be charged with a much higher premium.

Is this the same with Manulife YRT also?

^
I've never heard of a yearly renewable term insurance that
has a clause that would allow the insurance company to deny
renewal because the policy holder's health has deteriorated.

What insurance company does this?

Out of all the yearly renewable term insurance I've seen,
the only "renewable" part of it is the premium.
Coverage cannot be denied, rating(standard,sub-standard)
do not change and convertability to a regular life insurance
is guaranteed.
