since we live in a very cold country warm water talaga ang pampaligo ng little one so even if we're in the Phils, I still add hot water to make her bath water lukewarm.  Anyway I put lotion afterwards so her skin doesn't dry up.

Tap water for my daughter malamig or mainit ang panahon.

Both my sons only take a bath in warm water. Although sinasanay sila ng mom ko maligo sa cold water pag summer, para pag nagswimming sila, they won't hav problems adapting to the water temperature :)

Lukewarm talaga. I use my elbow to check kung gano siya kainit. When my sn turned 2, that's the time na water na directly from the gripo ang gamit ko sa kanya unless sobrang malamig.

If newborn, mas maganda talaga yung lukewarm kasi they just started regulating their temperature.

Also, it depends on baby's situation. My baby is a preemie & IUGR, so we always have lukewarm water for bath. Plus, we used a lot of distilled water. lol for fear that tap water might cause irritation on his stomach lalo na if baby will put his hands right away sa mouth. But now he's turning 11months, we're slowly converting it to tap water kasi malaki2x na sha.

Live water is ok if your baby is big enough nah, lalo na yung tabaching-ching na yung arms at legs kasi they have enough fat to regulate their temp. It's also nice to use a sponge to introduce live water first in a bath, to avoid baby from being startled.
