I've been taking collagen powder for i think more than a year now. I started with 1 can of meiji premium, then switched to BB collagen (1 can), then orihiro collagen. Had about more than 5 refills of it (i think) then when i went to japan, i bought 3 refills of meiji premium. I have finished my first refill and more than half of my second refill. When a friend asked me what are the effects and why i am taking it, i cant think of anything. I just said i dont have to put lotion anymore and my skin is a little softer. Pero now that i thought about it parang the effect is not worth it? Yeah i dont look as dull as when i am not taking collagen but thats it. Hindi ako very satisfied with it. I will try that fracora drink naman once i have finished my collagen.

Am i too young to take Meiji Collagen (Regular)? I'm turning 24 and parang ang ginagawa ko lang is, i put one scoop of meiji to my milk every morning and every night. So far wala naman ako nakikitang effect. Pero im scared na baka ito dahilan kung bakit puffy cheeks ko ngayon (di naman daw pero parang i can feel na parang ang chubby ng face ko) *di naman ako tumataba actually pero baka feeling ko lang. What is the right age ba talaga of taking collagen products?

^ Collagen causes puffy cheeks po, which is not really a bad thing naman since fuller cheeks make us look younger and more feminine, unless you are already on the rounder side to begin with.

^^sis hindi ba too much yung 1 scoop am, 1 scoop pm? Kasi ako 1 scoop in my coffee in the a.m. wala na sa pm.

Mas hiyang ako sa shiseido collagen powder drink kaysa meiji, pero mom ko hiyang sa meiji premium.. never talaga siya napagkamalang senior citizen.. lagi pa tinatanong bakit parang bumabata siya. I think because of meiji premium, i tried it also dati pero parang too much for me nagkabutlig butlig ang jaw line ko..

Mas pricey lang shiseido collagen kasi 1 pouch is good for 21 days lang while meiji pouch is for 30 days.

Available na pala ang Shiseido Tsubaki sa Daiso Shangri-La for only PHP 388 per bottle, as opposed to its SRP at PHP 500. Shining (Red) and Volume Touch (Violet) lang nakita ko variants, walang Damage Care (White) and Head Spa (Gold). Siempre, hoard na agad :)

before lagi ako nagkakabutlig sa mga collagen. as in all brands.

good thing triny ko small dosage 1/8 then after weeks, 1/4 hanggang umabot sa 1 scoop. (meiji) ngayon hiyang na ako. iba talaga ang feeling kapag naka collagen, basta make sure to take it 30 minutes before meal for full absorption.

Sis angelvenus, I use the violet one (Volume Touch) kasi bagsak hair ko. I have also used both red and white variants, and pareho lang powerful and mabango but the latter is for really damaged hair ;)

I'm taking Mosbeau collagen after I wake up.. and Fracora placenta before I go to sleep.

I have many tiny pimples on my forehead now.. Does this have anything to do with it? Am I taking too much? lol

^ if you had those pimples after taking collagen, maybe that's the culprit sis.

but if you had those pimples already even before taking collagen, the culprit might be something else..

thanks lordknight and ilovejdy :)

I blamed it on my lack of sleep; but I've been getting more sleep recently, and I've never experienced this with Fracora. :( Siguro i.alternate ko nalang sila dalawa and see if the pimples go away.. so far, siya lang talaga kase nagbago sa regimen ko.. hmm

How come they say the gluta tabs are from Japan, Pero once you're there, I don't see them being sold over the counter? Or perhaps di ko lang alam where they are available?
