Kung matutuloy date ko rito (hopefully na talaga matuloy) sa June meron pa kaya ako makukuha promo within 10 days of trip sa Batanes kaya ba na maikot lahat. Kailangan talaga aircon ang room? As in maiinit sa gabi? Grabe iniiisip ko pa lang nae-excite na ako. Meron ba 3g or wifi?

Hi mga sis! Still here in Basco. Bored to death kasi Globe is not ok here, wala akong ma-contact na tour hahahaha! I'll go biking na lang. kaya pala puro smart ang number ng mga contacts dito Kasi yun ang may cell site dito na bongga ang signal. Pero they have wifi. Syempre smart pa rin. I suggest na if you plan to grow envy in your friends' hearts do it in the evening kasi sayang ang tour if you'll keep them posted every minute. Sayang pati ang view. Hahahaha! Sa sabtang malakas ang signal ng globe. Btw kauuwi ko lang from Sabtang. good and bad decision. Hahahaha! Good kasi i was able to tour the whole island... or kung ano man ang pwedeng puntahan dito. Bad kasi i wasnt able to consider yung electricity ration nila! Hahahaha! Pero ang saya. They said next wk, around march 17-19 yata coco martin and toni gonzaga will go there to shoot a movie(?).

sabi ng locals weather here is very unpredictable. I arrived here last march 10. Umaambon, super cloudy and windy. May pagka-winter pa. The next day medyo cloudy pero pinagbigyan ang compressed north and south batan tour ko. Pero nung hapon cloudy na talaga no more sun. March 12 rest day. Maaraw at mainit (tolerable) pero sa room ko it is as if umuulan sa labas kasi super lamig. March 13 super happy kasi super maaraw pero mahangin Sa sabtang. Hindi maalon ang dagat going tHere kaya enjoy ang tour. The only time na natuwa ako sa nakita ko. Hahahaha! So mga sis payo from a noob who learned her lesson really well right before you book your flights RESEARCH well. And after you have booked it call your accomodations and tour Immediately. early booking, less hassle. Less worries. never ever panic. Keri boom boom ang batanes.

I suggest na sa mga homestay na lang kayo mag-pa-reserve ng accomodation. Freedom over what you can do is the next best thing sa tour. Either you cook your food kasi everything here is expensive, or you eat out at approx. 300/meal. Good luck mga sis!

^sis 10days is enough already. Make an itinerary and stick to it. batan island is made up of 4towns Divided in to 2 tours. The north and south batan tour. Sabtang and ivuhus can be done in a day(meaning overnight kayo dun). Di ko lang alam in the case of duquey(goat) island. baka naman kaya sa hapon na lang kayo instead of the 1st trip to ivana. Itbayat is 3-4hrs from batan. mas ok kung mag-overnight. ganda daw ng cliffs Dun. 5 islands na yan. The remaining 5 di ko na alam kung paano. Good luck sis! Mahaba pa ang time to plan everything else. Wag pilitin kung di kaya. baka ma-frustrate ka lang. I met someone who's been here for 6x already and he said finally he was able to visit all of batanes' island. Medyo inggit ako. Gusto ko din. Hahahaha!

Planning to visit on Batanes day. That would be on June 26. Yung week na yon. Sana matuloy! 😊

Sis traxxex21 yes homestay na nga lang. I will suggest kay Nanay Cita (although curious ako bakit ako tinanong nung nasa Palangud kung ok naman daw ba kay Nanay Cita with a smirk on their faces upon hearing my answer which is YES.) kay Nanay Cita (sa likod lang sila ng Palangud) 350 lang ang room and no extra charge for cooking. Ipagluluto ka pa niya if you want. Kung sa car rental you can ask her na lang din. Pero may nabasa ako you can rent a car (http://www.johnmadrigal.net/2012/01/tips-when-traveling-to-batanes.html). You should try biking also! Malaki group niyo. Masaya yun!

^traxxex21, if whole family kayo, try nyo sa Marfel's Lodge, either main or Annex, pero mas maganda sa Main. Kasi 2 rooms yun that can accommodate 6 pax. Pag 6 na kayo, sa inyo na yung whole house, sala, dining area, kitchen. 2 bathrooms din.

That's where we stayed last year, yung Annex naman 3 rooms yata meron dun.

BTW 3 days lang kami .. so baka batan lang mapuntahan namin.. pero hoping pa din makapag sabtang kami.. kahit 1 day lang tapos may matutuluyan naman dun diba? so 2 days sa Batan tapos 1 day sa Sabtang

Nakapag pa quote nako ng van.. 10K ang singil samin for 5 days daw.. pero since 3 days daw kami 6.5K daw.

Kasi kung 3 days lang kayo, 3rd day flight nyo na, which is morning yun di ba?

^^sis kakagaling lang namin sa batanes. naka van din kami (4 pax) eto some of our expenses:
North and South - 5k
Sabtang tour - 1.5k
tourist registration for Sabtang is 200 per pax.

sa Sabtang dun kami kumain dun sa resto sa may beach na may arc (forgot the name 300 per person, pero walang lobster.

nagpunta pala kami sa spring of youth yata near the fishing village in South Batan. ang ganda!

Karamihan yata ng pension house dito shared bathroom. Saan kaya meron na private bathroom kahit fan or ac pero yung pasok sa budget. Time travel lodge yung nakita ko 1.2k private bath fan room. May mas mababa pa ba dito?

After seeing the movie of Toni and Coco nag alab ulet ang desire ko to visit Batanes! Its been a dream for me and my sissy. Nakalimotan lang ng nag ka family ako and napunta ng Dubai si sissy...
