^ palagay ko nga rin  tagal ko na kase nag-aabang, wala talagang sale pumunta pa kaming Travel Fair sa SMX last time hinde rin kasama batanes sa promo pati yung Travel Mart sa glorietta hinde rin sya kasama..waahhhh

Last year, I got my tickets sa Travel Fair sa SMX which happened in February. For travel ng April of the same year. Summer so best time!

did I read that right, kasama pa ang June sa summer months ng Batanes? anyone who went there ng June? Musta naman ang alon patawid ng Sabtang (at ng Itbayat kung meron)?

May naka-try na ng plane (instead of boat) to Itbayat? P1500 lang ang difference so i would much rather take the plane than the boat, hehe.

EDIT: ang weird.  Yung sa Batanes Seaside package, P1500 lang difference (sa package). Pero sa website below, P1425/way ang difference (pag DIY). Baka pang-attract ng Seaside to get the package, hehe.

@ sis matetreyes First week of June 2014 kami nag punta. Okay naman ang weather, may occasional rain showers lang pag dating ng hapon. Kalmado naman yung dagat pag tawid ng Sabtang. Not sure about Itbayat

@sis matet I was there Jun19-24. Super sunny! Blue skies at green hills. Kalmado din ang dagat when we crossed for Sabtang. :-)

^^^sis meimei, yan din ang sabi ko nung plan namin mag Itbayat when we went to Batanes. Parang an hour of agony over sa ilang hours by boat with the waves. Kaya lang nung nakita ko yung (not sure kung ilang seater) na plane na gagamitin going to Itbayat, natakot din ako eh. Propeller plane pa nga lang to Batanes natakot na ako, lalo na yung small plane hehe...

If makabalik ulit kami, I think we'll go by boat na lang tapos summer months para medyo forgiving ang alon.

^^4hrs by boat vs 12mins by plane: i'll choose the plane and pay the difference. hehe. Oks lang ako sa small plane, mas takot ako sa 4-hr boat ride.

Ang problema lang is hindi tatakbo ang plane ng hindi kumpleto ang 8pax. So kailangan ko makahanap ng 7pax who are also willing to pay for the difference. Hahaha! Yun ang mahirap... tsk tsk tsk.

SkyJet wont be flying to Batanes for the whole month due to aircraft maintenance.

Hi! I'll be going to Batanes on March 9. Pero wala pa akong return ticket! Haha! Good luck. Anyways is there another backpacker inn that is cheap like Marfel's? Hindi na kasi sila nag-re-reply sa query ko. And Martin's Inn is too big and expensive for solo traveller like me. Though I really plan to stay there for 3d2n I am planning to stay in a cheap inn as well. Experience. Any suggestions? TIA!

^Wow! Thanks sis! obviously ang tamad ko ng mag-research. Haha! na-encounter ko na siya before pero Marfel kasi karamihan ang nababasa ko. Ahehe! Sige I'll call them to inquire. Naku sana di pa sila puno. The plane as well. Sana hindi ako yung 10% na overbooking nila.

Sana sumali na rin ang Cebu Pacific, baka sakali bumaba yung cost ng plane tickets pag ganon.  Ang mahal kasi ng PAL, and unreliable yung Skyjet, ang daming complaints sa internet about that company.
