naku swertehan ang pag-alis nyan sis kasi baka mahangin or may bagyo. pero malay natin sis baka iyong mabook mo swerteng maganda ang panahon. kasi ako noon nakaswerte.

'Willing sana ko sumugal ng 1.5K (for the tickets) kaso ayaw ng mga kasama ko. Kainis.

Sis Shiecg, di na kita na PM nung nasa Bora kami... naisip ko baka busy ka at saka nabusy na rin ako sa pagsama sa anak ko sa beach... super enjoy kami. Thanks anyway... malay mo sa Batanes tayo magkita-kita. :-)

greize,mahal yung sa DG e. Para ka lang nagbayad ng regular airfare sa price nya tapos bitin yung 3 days, morning lang ang flights to and from e. Mura naman din ang accommodations, tours at food dun

ang unang attempt namin mid january 2011 pero mahangin daw dun kaya cancelled ang flight 5min before the gates will be opened c/o sea air pa nun. Meron na kame accommodation at tour package kasi 3 days lang kame. But since di natuloy  ni-transfer namin sa iba yung accommodation. July naman ang trip nila, natuloy sila at maganda daw weather. May kakilala din ako June  2010 naman sila nagpunta dun.

By some accident, I saw an FB post announding a Batanes seat sale.

Since I'm always left behind in sales like these, I just mocked book out of routine not really expecting anything.

My eyes almost popped when I saw that the RT ticket would only cost P1,300.  BOOM!  I immediately made a payment.

June 8-15, 2014    Woohoo!  I'll finally get to visit Itbayat.

By the way, a lot of people were not able to take advantage of the sale because they tried mock booking in the PAL Express website (which really sucks and is pretty much useless.)

The correct website to use is the PAL MAIN website.  Good thing I was able to alert a few more friends before the seats ran out.

(PAL only had 66 seats on sale for the Manila-Basco route so it ran out pretty quickly.)

I just talked to Ate Fe of Marfel's Lodge and I was so happy na naging uber excited ako for this trip, enough na naginquire at nagpareserve na ako sa place niya for June 2014, which is still 8mos from now. She was so nice on the phone, daling kausap and nagkachika pa kame konti. According to her, prior me, she had made 5 reservations already for the month of June lang. Luckily, there is still 1 available room for us. Minsan, it pays to be excited din

di ko rin ma-gets bro PAL express pag nagma-mock book ako. laging mas mahal sya compare sa PAL mismo na website, kahit same flight naman yong avail mo

^ganun? nung nagkaron ng sale few weeks ago sa pal express lang ako nagcheck, di naman ako nahirapan at mabilis naman website nila. di ko lang alam kung may difference sa price kung sa pal mismo kame nagbook.

Booked on January 1 to 6 . Nakatsamba ng seat sale a few weeks back, wala pang 1,500 yung RT tickets. Kasama ko si hubby and 3 year old daughter.

Any girltalkers on the same dates?

Nakapag-pareserve na rin ako sa Marfel's Lodge.  Madali naman kausap si Ate Fe.

By the way, I'm not sure why it's not getting much publicity, but Ate Fe owns/administers another lodge in Batanes named "Time Traveler's Lodge".  I've seen recent pictures of it and mukhang maayos naman.  You can inquire with Ate Fe regarding that lodge kung puno na yung Marfel's.

^nakausap ko na din sya however full na ang Marfel's at 1 room na lang ang available sa Time Traveler's Lodge. Though meron pa sya sinasabi na bago, as in inaayos palang nila ngayon na few meters away lang din sa airport. Hopefully maayos sya agad at magkasya kameng 9pax!

Mr.Punch, may kakilala ka ba nag-o-offer ng DIY tour sa Batanes? for a day kasi 2 lang kame ng husband ko, kinabukasan pa dadating yung 7pax pa na kasama namin. since limited lang ang time at for sure excited na din kame sa tour, sa day 1 palang gusto na namin ng activities pero ayaw naman namin gumastos ng bongga! may nag-quote kasi samin tours for 2pax in 2days nasa 5k/pax.

kainis laging di ako nakaka tsamba ng seat sale. lagi na lang akong offline sa tuwing may sale. gigil na gigil na talaga ako sa batanes. ang mahal naman yung "promo" sa dealgrocer. may charge na 9k-12k daw pag fundacion pacita.
