I tried Kubiertos catering nung bday ni Baby last March... Ok naman. Di na sumama si Ms. Imelda nung day ng event pero super maasahan yung waiter nya... (si kuya MC) Di rin sila late.. Dito sa Mandaluyong ang venue at super aga dumating nung nag set up... masarap din ang food. Inisa isa ko talaga mga bisita about the food at wala namang negative comment.

Kaya before ng bday, a week before nag text na ko to remind her... then 2 days before the event.. then a day before the event... ok naman si Ms imelda... di naman sya nakulitan... hehe ...

Follow up question lang mga sis, if my guests are 100 pax, pang ilang food po ang dapat ma order ko kasama na po buffer na 10%? Im preparing for my daughter's first bday next week na and i need to finalize with my caterer. Thanks so much!

^ You should order food good for 100 pax then.  I do not recommend ordering for 90 pax (and relying on the 10% buffer) because what if sumobra ang guests sa 100 pax, say, around 115-120 guests show up.  You never know.  May mga guests kasi na magsasama kasi ng mga yaya, siblings, etc.

If the 100 pax includes the children, you may set up a kiddie buffet or have plated meals for the kids.

You should also consider the meals for the suppliers.  Are they going to partake of the food in the buffet or are you getting crew meals for them?

Ako naman, I always order in excess.  For example, if I am expecting 100 guests, I usually order food good for 110-120 pax.  Okay lang sumobra ang food, we can always take home leftovers kesa magkulang or tipirin - pet peeve ko sa parties ang "managed buffet", feeling pobre ang pakiramdam ko pag bisita ako tapos calculated ang food na ilalagay sa plate ko.  But this is just my opinion.  Others may have a different view. :)

^ I agree.

IMO, if you're expecting 100 guests, you should order food for at least 100 guests. Kami kasi, usually ganun then we have additional food pa like lechon or something. Then we also prepare pica-pica per table kahit nuts or nachos man lang for guests to munch on in case di pa maka-start agad ng kain. And unlimited drinks.

^^agree, mas mabuti na sobra sa food, saka di mo masasabi talaga ilang guests ang dadating. sa bday ni baby we were confident na sobra na food sa number of expected guests considering na may 10% buffer plus we added 2 lechon pa..what we did not expect,  may bisita kami na sinama pati kapitbahay at kids nung kapitbahay nya ;D , while yung ibang nagsabing di makakapunta dumating din and some last minute texts kay hubby asking kung pwede pa daw sila magsama, syempre nakakahiya naman mag-no..that's why parang useless din RSVP..i got worried  na baka magkaubusan eh ang plano namin that time pakainin na lang yung crew sa buffet or last resort was bigyan na lang ng money after the event for their food ;D  sinama namin mga yaya sa head count namin for the adult bufftet, , 1 yaya per kid ang bilang namin...sa drinks naman, 1 round lang kasi included usually sa package, but pag may mga guests na nag-oorder ng additional drink, additional bayad na lang yun usually inform naman ng staff ang host..di ko din type ang managed buffet, gusto ko yung guests ang bahala sa dami ng food na gusto nya para di magmukhang tinitipid ;)

may feedback ba kayo sa Executive Gourmet Catering Services? yung kiddie party package nila kasi looks promising, lalo na yung mga inclusions.

Here's the website - http://www.executivegourmet.ph/kiddie-party-package/

Share ko lang, i got Queensland Premium Package, then upgraded to Salmon. Super satisfied naman ako sa kanila. Madali at mabilis kausap ang AE ko who is Kat. I thought to get Michelle sana based on reviews pero madami ata shang accounts thats why wala sha when i asked for her. pero happy ako and satisfied with Kat. Over all, its my second party with queensland and i will get them again sa 7th bday ng panganay ko next year. :)

We had The Little Hippo Catering Services for our son's baptism last July27. We weren't expecting anything except we know the food is really good (we already tried them before during our pamamanhikan). And they (Mr. Gil and Mrs. Winnie Hipolito) went beyond our expectations. Even adding balloonderitas for free and personalized menu table cards with our son's picture on it. Super cute. Planning again to get them for our son's 1st bday :D Family and friends loved the outcome :)
