Who got kubiertos recently? Nalelate pa kaya sila?  Panay nabasa ko kasi masarap food but ang negative comments are about them being late...kakatakot naman...

google mo, sis.  you'll find a lot of feedback.  basically, ang nababasa ko no complaints about the taste and quality of food.  though meron ako nabasa na parang kulang daw.  mabilis din daw and nice the owner and maraming freebies.  negative naman: sobrang late, may nakakalimutan lagi sa pinag-usapan, hindi nasusunod pinag-usapan like color, etc.

sis, we had Kubiertos last month for my daughter's baptism..hindi naman sila late..early pa nga sila sa venue..kahit nung sa birthday nung other daughter ko last year, early din sila..venue ko, Abad Santos, Manila and Sto. Domingo, QC..but then again, parang hindi sila consistent sa part na 'yan kase may mga nababasa nga ako na na-le-late sila..siguro super kulit lang ako sa kaka-remind kay Ms. Imelda kaya sa both events ko, ok naman..

Thanks sis. Siguro kukulitin ko na lang din si Ms Imelda para di sila late. Ang dami ko ngang nababasa na feedback about that. Hehe

Wanna try them, too, but i'm scared...ok lang kasi kung nga 15-30 min late, pero yung mga shared by others, mga 2 hours!

Happy with 8 Spoons.  Having ordered party trays from them almost on a monthly basis, I had no doubt that the food is going to be good.      I also availed of their partial set-up service before kaya confident ako na maganda at classy ang gawa nila.   I like the set-up - clean linens, plates, goblets, glasses and utensils,  colored toppers in accordance with the theme,  new-looking chafing dishes with lights, labels for each dish in accordance with the theme, ottomans and low tables for the kids, neat-looking waiters in uniform, etc.  Michelle and Cathleen were in the venue from start to finish.  It's really a breeze working with them. Mababait at masisinop din ang mga waiters nila.

In lieu of food carts, we had a taco bar prepared by them which was a big hit with the guests.  Simot!  Ang nice pa ng signage for the taco bar.

We had the following:

Adult buffet - Oriental pasta (similar to Yellow Cab's Charlie Chan pasta), Hickory bbq ribs, Wagyu burger steak with shiitake mushroom, Baked parmesan fish fillet with a delicate cream sauce na hindi nakakaumay (ito ang favorite dish ko during the party), garlic beans and baby potatoes, salad shots (nata with mango bits), red velvet petit fours + the taco bar

Kiddie buffet - Spaghetti Bolognese (medyo matamis, according to my mom), hotdog and marshmallow on stick, fried chicken drumstick, cupcake, orange juice

We took home a lot of leftovers.

^ P350 (inclusive of the taco bar) - but that's discounted since I am a repeat customer.  The taco bar is super sulit at only P50/head additional if you get their catering service and it is not a food cart ha, it's a complete set-up. Their packages start at P300.
