hi there!  question mga sis, na-bill na ba kayo ng over sa minimum guarantee? kunyari, 80 yung guaranteed guests, 88 ang maximum including the buffer. if 83 yung guests ko, i will pay for 88?

eto yung sa contract:

'Should the attendance be more than the minimum number stipulated, the organizer shall be billed for the maximum guarantee'

which is better, per plate, buffet style or per table set?

per plate - lalabas kasi mas mahal ang per plate and matagal dumating food?

buffet style - guests can get food depending on how much they can eat. takot ko lang baka magkulang and how can I make sure na the food displayed is for example, 80 pax dba? tapos may iba pang taong takaw mata, dami kumuha di naman nauubos.

per table - ito madalas yung per table like good for 10 persons ilalagay sa table. what if merong magkakasama sa table na hindi close, baka magkahiyaan kumuha ng food.

I'm not sure if it's okay to ask it here in this thread. Ayoko na kasi gumawa ng bagong thread. I need your insights.

^for me lahat naman may masasayang na food. Yun reasons e namention mo na sis.

Bale ang pinaka isipin mo na lang e ano yun pinakamalinis na paraan na maiuuwi mo or maipapamigay mo ang left over. Sa buffet style ang sagot.

Sa per plate e once d kainin ng bisita e wala na tapon na yun. Sa per table, eto naranasan ko ito sa binyag ng anak ng staff ng mister ko na sa chinese restaurant ginawa, ipinabalot mga leftover kasi good for 10pax isang table e mga 4pax, 6pax lang nakaupo sa table so marami tira. Problema may tao na kahit may serving spoon e d gumagamit pa rin, or nagpo-poke ng food using yun kubiertos nya. Nakakadiri kasi nakita ko may gumawa ng ganun kaya naishare ko dito.

Sa buffet kasi if may mag-manage naman na staff mas kaunti yun incident ng takaw tingin. May masasayang tiyak na food pero at least yun matitira e maayos naman.


Yun concern mo na kulang/sobra maging food. Laging problema naman yan kasi d naman YATA sanay PA ang karamihan sa pinoy sa party na "per head" ang gastos. Nito lang naman nauso mga party2x na catering/restaurant so d pa masyado nasa awareness ng bisita na gamitin ang urbanidad at dumalo kung magsabi na dadalo. (OT: kaya sa horror guests thread e dami sa ganito asar nasasayang kasi nga ang pera). Bale kahit mali sa iba dahil magastos, ok pa rin sa akin yun kasabihan na mas mabuti na ang sobra kaysa sa kulang.

Mahirap mastress kakaisip if kukulangin ang food habang nagpaparty.

Naaccept ko na yun fact na kahit gaano pa ang pagpaplano, may factors talaga na beyond our control na isa na dito ang ugali ng mga naimbitahan/ bisita.

Kaya ikaw na sis makakapagsabi anong babagay na set-up sa bisita mo

Badly need feedback po sa mga caterer na kinuha nila.. ilan lang kase ang accredited caterers ng museo pambata (WREbon Catering Services, SMEJ, Queensland and Sta. Ines-Pablo Catering Service) limited lang kase ang nababasa kong reviews sa kanila sa net. Thanks so much

msKathie, we have a client "suki" from our photography business, they hired us tapos sa museo pambata ang venue, ang food ay Sta. Ines-Pablo Catering Service masarap naman sis.

i am pencil booked with queensland kaso may nagsabi na minsan daw iba lasa ng food nila. may na-late pa ng dating.. kaya naghahanap hanap din ako ng iba

^ thanks so much sis. hay i'm confused na. Yun ibang naka attend sa museo na queensland ang caterer ok naman daw, pero yun iba late nga daw. I got the packages of Sta. Ines and mura ang packages nila at ang dami pang freebies but when we tried to call their numbers parang ewan yun nakasagot.. need ko na talaga makapag decide which caterer to choose.

^madami pa din naman feedback about queensland sis eh, siguro sabihan nalang natin yung mga AE about sa feedback na late sila at hindi consistent ang lasa ng food nila para alam nilang aware tayo. baka ganun nalang din ang gawin ko with queensland. may isang sis tayo dito maganda ang feedback personally sa queensland kasi nagpa party sa office nila and she said okay naman

Hi, I got queensland for my daughter's baptism last november 23. Before, hesitant akong kunin sila because of the negative feedbacks i've been reading baout them pero my AE assured me that it wont happen naman. And true enough, satisfied naman ako sa service nila. They came early to the venue, nice set-up and yummy naman ang food nila. I plan to get them for the 1st birthday party next year pa naman pero sana okay pa rin sila

First, napakabait ng owner na si Imelda. She replies fast sa mga texts/emails ko and in person napaka accommodating niya.

Second, they have free food tasting. Magpa-schedule ka lang sa kanya. Ang house niya is sa Bf homes, pero kung malayo ka she can arrange a meet up.

Third, super affordable ang price. Siya na ata pinakamura na nakita ko when i was looking for a caterer. Tapos originally 4 na ulam lang, then since madami per head ko nag add siya ng additional ulam for free. Then nag add sya ng salad bar, candy buffet and choco fountain. No additional charge.

Fourth, super friendly and professional staff.

Lastly, super sarap ng food. Guests ko naka ilang rounds yata. Good thing sobra order ko. Hehe. And marami nagsabi sa akin na yummy ang food. Hehe.

Meron na ba dito nakakuha ng catering sa online deal/promo kasi may mga nakikita ako discounted rates sa online deal kaso hesitant ako baka pag dating ng party sakit ng ulo ko makuha ko from them..thanks in advance.

^^ nakapag-try na ako ng catering package from a deal site. I got it from groupon yata, I forgot. the catering company's called marcus lucas. ive never heard of them and couldn't find many reviews online. they're a new company pala. i only got the small package at sa bahay lang naman ang handa namin.

i called them before hand to make sure that they would service my area and that they would be available on my chosen date. nung ok na, that's when i purchased. even then, i was hesitant so nagpa-extra na lang ako ng food para just in case sablay, may back up ako. we ended up having so much food but that's a happy problem. the food was bland, actually, but the service itself was good. the waiters came on time, were very helpful sa setup and even chopped the lechon without extra charge. overall, ok na rin.

Our office always gets the services of Wicked Kitchen.  I was able to attend the party of one of our lawyers in his residence and the food was really good.  Naka-attend na din ako ng children's party ng daughter ng officemate and she got them too.  I think they're not expensive naman.  I checked FB and may page sila don.  They're worth a try and the staff are always willing to help every time we get them for our events.

I just booked Queensland Catering for my son's 7th birthday this February. I'm really crossing my fingers. For the meantime hindi ko na muna sila kinukulit regarding my requests. Sa February ko na lang uulitin yung mga reminders ko para fresh pa sa mind ng AE namin.
