Hi sis, kababanggit lang saa kin ni dra kanina na next cycle ko start na kame ng letrozole,..wala din ako idea about it, magkano kaya yun?

talaga? pero nag clomid ka ba before? sa pagkaka alala ko, 350 per tab sya, and need mo use 1 mat which is 10 tabs in total so 3,500. ako kasi pinainom sa akin yan 3rd day ng period ko. good luck to us sis.

Wala pa ko iniinom sis aside from folic acid,and vitamin c,..katatapos lang ng lap ko and my first menstruation after lap tapos na din kaya nga nung nagff ako kay dra sabi niya dapat daw within first 5 days ng mens ako pumunta, kahapon ako pumunta which is my cd8 kaya sabi niya nexy cycle na lang daw, natural muna kame, timed intercourse lang muna,..

Ibig sabihin 10days siya iinumin? Ang mahal pala, pero super worth naman if makabuo diba,...

Nagclomid ka na din ba? What's the difference? Yung letrozole pala generic name tapos femara brand name,kaya mas familiar yung femara,un usually nababasa ko dito sa gt along with clomid,..ano mas pricey clomid o femara?

I had 3 cycles of Femara under Dra. Manalo.  I took it on Day 3 to Day 7, two tabs a day.  It is actually a drug for breast cancer but just like Clomid, it's also being used for infertility though mas matagal nang kilala at ginagamit ang Clomid.  Between the two, Femara is more expensive and mas hindi tumatagal sa katawan.  Dra. Manalo told me na mas mataas daw kasi ang success rate nya sa Femara.  I also knew some Clomid resistant na nabuntis with Femara.

^niresetehan din ako ng OB ko ng femara if dumating si AF. Natural muna kami, before ovamit pero walang nangyari. And sabi ni OB ito yun prescribe niya sakin kasi nakakaliit din daw ito ng endometriosis. Mura lang sa kanila 200/tablet. Bumili na nga ako kasi pag hindi ko naman daw magamit or mabuntis refund niya..

Hindi pa ko nag BFP under Femara.  Naka hold ang work up ko ngayon pero ang alam ko, this drug should not be used for more than 12 cycles. Femara is quickly cleared from the body.  It only works for the cycle it's taken and mas hindi nya na aaffect ang uterine lining.

Other sissies out there who have experienced taking this while trying to conceive? And nagka BFP po ba kayo nito?

Hi mga sis, niresetahan din ako ng OB ko nito. Mejo natakot ako kasi category x pala sya. Pero nung nagbasa basa ulit ako ginagamit talaga sya to induce ovulation.

Sis rreporen, ganito din dosage sakin. 2 a day. Did you take yours sabay or 1 tab am and 1 tab pm?

Took femara 2 cycles ago to rest my poor uterus from clomid thinning effects but it only produced 1 follicle though maganda. bfn

Back to clomid ako last cycle. Mas nag rerespond ako clomid.

Not sure if mas malakas ang letrozole or clomiphene. But as a side note for endo lining i discovered ok yung soy milk for endo lining  naka 3 tabs ako ng clomid and still 9.wmm endo lining ko at time of iui. bfn pa din though.

I ovulated CD18 on Letrozole (if I have to rely on my positive OPK on CD17).  I am now on my two-week wait, I hope i will get my BFP.
Prior to Letrozole di ako nakakakuha ng positive sa OPK kahit nag te-test ako twice a day until CD22.

My first round of letrozole didn't give me BFP, AF came full force yesterday at CD31. So in a way it still a success coz it made me ovulate and shortened my cycle.  Usually kasi nasa 35-65 days ako.. monthly naman pero cycle days di laging pareho.

Tomorrow I will start second round.

Hi sis wantstobeamom, me too bfn after 1 cycle of letrozole. Hay another round ulit. Pero next year na ulit kasi nun nag TVS ako at day 2 nakita na me naiwan pako na follicle which is now called a physiological cyst. Dapat nagburst na to pero naiwan pa so according to my ob, natural na muna this month.  Wait namin magsubside or magburst un follicle kasi if we proceed with stimulation baka lumaki sobra at maging cause pa ng operation.

 Based on my experience, sometimes d ako nagoovulate based on my opk, sabi ng ob baka super sensitive or light lang ng lh surge kaya d sya nadedetect ng opk. Pero nagoovulate pa din kasi nagkaron ng period.

Side question lang, where do you buy your letrozole, how much and what brand. Talaga bang 400 each ang tablet nito. Sa ob ko binili.  Thanks!

@blueberryalmond Sis sorry di ko alam price ng letrozole, I'm abroad and luckily covered siya ng insurance so wala ako binabayaran.  Sa nababasa ko sa mga forum around $10 nga daw dito yan.

Sis after ba ng letrozole round mo heavy yung period mo? Mine is heavier than usual.  Sana naman di ako nagdevelop ng cyst. Di ako nag pa ulatrasound and i will start my second round tomorrow.

Hi sis wantstobeamom, wow you are very lucky na covered sya ng insurance nyo.

Yung period ko malakas nun second day onwards as in me mga clots pa, first day halos spotting lang. Makapal din endometrium lining ko nun Day 2 maybe because of progesterone na pinainom sakin. Sabi nga ng ob weird na makapal sya since dapat nagsheshed na kasi period na kaya pinanatural nya muna ako this cycle.

Maybe pwde mo din pacheck sa ob if ready ka na ulit sa next round ng letrozole.

My doctor  requirement bago mag start ng another round of letrozole  is mag hpt  kahit may period to rule out pregnancy. 6 rounds yung prescription nya sakin pero balak ko bumalik sa kanya after 3rd round kung wala pa rin, to be monitored.

Clotty din yung period ko sis, sanay lang ako ng sobrang light na period kaya medyo alarmed ako.  First day heavy, today medyo medium flow nalang. 

Oo nga sis buti nalang covered ng insurance halos lahat ng procedures,  bawas stress. I had my laparoscopy early this year wala din kami binayaran kahit konti. 
Prayer ko talaga makabuo na kami with letrozole kasi if IUI or IVF we have to pay 40% na, ang mahal pa naman dito.

Sis wantstobeamom: Ah okay, another round ka ulit, me naexperience ka ba na side effect ng letrozole? 

Bakit ka nalaparoscopy? Kami din IUI nga agad sabi OB nun first cycle pa lang ng letrozole. Kami lang nagbeg off kasi gusto namin itry na natural muna. Pumayag ob pero sabi dapat me timeline kasi i am 30 na din at may pcos at endometriosis pako.

May ovarian cyst kasi ako sis na di nawala on its own lumaki siya ng lumaki.  Nakalimutan ko exact tawag nong cyst. Pero di ako pcos at walang endo.   Nakuha naman yung cyst and RE said all organs look good.  Di pa lang talaga nakakabuo, naapektuhan ng cyst yung cycle ko kaya may mga months na di ako nag-oovulate.  My doctor is hoping that letrozole will regulate things. 
Retroverted uterus din pala ako, one of the odds.
With letrozole wala naman side effect, no hot flashes, nausea, or painful ovulation, 'to lang heavy period which I think is a "good" side effect.
I hope sis we will have success with letrozole and lots of prayers.
At malay mo ngayon pa kayo makabuo without meds.
