why did i just discover this thread and stock market trading thru this thread. kala ko dati para lang to sa mga uber rich and in the western world. natutulog lang ang money pala sa savings account.

^Hindi mo na kailangan mag-school, sis. Ako nag-aral lang ako nung kakapanganak ko lang. Stuck at home ako caring for my baby, hindi naman maka-focus sa work, and putol-putol tulog, so all that time I spent fine-combing the internet for information. I even sacrificed some work time and precious, precious sleep because I was so hungry for knowledge.

What really accelerated the process, though, was finally putting some money in the stock market. May taya na ako, so I was forced to apply what I had learned. At that time, the market was correcting very deeply, and it did so three very hurtful times. Ayun, ang laki ng "tuition fee" ko. But I stayed my course, trusted the wisdom of Buffett, Livermore, and other mentors, and by the start of 2014, things began to pay off. Last Monday, I finally reached a goal of being assigned my own relationship manager at COL Financial.

Your client's advice is good, but I noticed that people love to recommend investing in the stock market when it's a bull market. It's a good bandwagon to jump on -- it is a very good sign when more and more Filipinos become interested in finance -- but it is already late in the game. There is still something to squeeze out of this bull run, but please do your due diligence. The people who already made money are now, of course, telling others, "look at how much I made, let's buy!". Then, when you buy, they'll be the ones selling and getting out.

Check out this cycle of trading emotions. With the consolidation at 6500-6800 over and the PSEi breaching and holding 7k, it looks like we are at #3.

^i have no MARC sis i learned my lesson with HOUSE    anything hyped-up i would think twice before touching it now. ipit pa din sa HOUSE and i have no plan to average down, sayang talaga yung DNL di ako nakabili when it pulled back below 10.5.

Hi sis, before jumping aboard make sure that the money you are using is an EXTRA MONEY. Dont ever use your last money on investing stocks because you will never know what may happen. There are risk involve kaya make sure it is not your last money. (advice din ito ng dad ko) 

Tama rin ang sabi ng ibang sisses natin, make sure you know the backround of that company you are investing in.

Read newspapers, news...

Know the terminologies used in the stock market, para madali mong maintindihan.

hi mga sis.. do you have TEL? is it really time to SELL? i bought it just 4 months ago. now i have 26% gain sa kanya, and lagpas na sya ng FV. i was contemplating if id stick with it for longterm, or cut loss then buy again on lows.. any feedback? TIA

whew! ang tagal kong binantayan ang IS! pag tinign ko kanina 115% gain! yay! pull out agad (takot malugi) since bawi ko na yung loss ko, lipat nako sa iba. hehe pero i sold at .94, nagclose sya .104! shet... pero okay na rin. mahirap maging greedy since hindi pa maganda ang fundamentals nya... hihi

^Thanks sis, sayang nga since testing the waters pa lang ako, 4.5k lang ang nilagay ko hahaha. Minimum shares pa, pero okay na rin diba, san ka makakapulot ng 4.5k+ ngayon! And the experience confirmed some of my trending analysis. hehe. Tama ka na mas matututo ka kung may money involved na talaga no matter how small.

Ang taas pa rin ng volume ng IS compared sa ave volume ah. Mukhang sisipa pa to pataas eh, but im scared to buy na

Kaloka naman ang TAPET, parang hindi ako makapaniwala na 1000%+++ ang gain. I remember TA was one of the first stocks I ever bought. Sana pala dinamihan ko na!

me sis, at 19% gain naman sa akin. hold ang rating ng COL now. i'm thinking of keeping it for long term and because of dividends hehe
