Pag po ba nakikita nyo ng medyo malaki yung loss.. ano ginagawa nyo, nag cucut loss or wait na bumaba pa lalo at mag buy Or mag wait na tumaas ulit? like for example. from 10 tapos naging 7 tpos parang steady muna sya dun. Thanks sis.

Ako I rarely cut-loss... buy lang habang mababa, then intay mareach ang target price. Cost averaging kasi ang strategy ko at very conservative ang risk appetite. Pero syempre kanya kanya yan... :-)

Be careful with MARC. Insiders have been playing this stock since its suspension was lifted 2 weeks ago. You saw in its movement today that the disclosure was priced-in already. Insiders have already made their money. Set your cut loss points -- don't be the one left holding the bag.

ann08, did you get in at a high price? I would cut loss and put the money on a better stock -- there are so many better ones to choose from right now.

You could also long-term MARC -- if you believe in its fundamentals. Nickel prices are expected to rise in 2015 when the supply decreases. MARC is the second biggest supplier of nickel after Nickel Asia. They can already reach target exports with just one mine opening -- what more if the other two mines were opened.

Downsides: Insiders are scrupulous -- we all saw how they manipulated all of us when they were suspended and when the suspension was lifted. 2015 is relatively a long ways off -- there are more stocks to play in that period of time. Also watch out for the lifting of the nickel ban in Indonesia.

I have MARC, but I have been in it since it was still in the 4-5 range (including the needle-point drop to 3.66). I'm not watching its movement very closely, but I don't want any news to eat into my profits either.

^No problem, I'm just distilling the information I read too. Others may read it differently. Weak hands are being shaken in MARC now, though. Plenty got scared by the news that their profit dropped by 70%. I don't understand their logic, though -- of course profit would go down when mines are closed. Now that there's news that one of the mines is open (and the others are being processed already), don't they see what's going to happen next?

Very happy with DNL, as always.

No idea sis diane, di na ako nakatutok sa DNL... takot/conservative talaga ako kaya binenta ko na yung DNL ko nung na-hit nya ang 10pesos per share, since around 6 pesos ang average cost per share ko ng DNL, more than 40% na ang kinita ko... happy na ako dun.

^kuha ka ng broker sis. bpi trade, col financial, wealth sec, etc. fund your account then you can do your trading na. but of course, basa ka muna kung anong mga companies ang ok na pag-investan.

actually sis gustong gusto ko talaga pag aralan, nag browse pa ko if they are special schools for money trading. One of my clients into stock market and sya nag advise na wag ko ilagay sa bank ipon ko and ipasok ko sa stocks ng pang matagalan.

^Hindi mo na kailangan mag-school, sis. Ako nag-aral lang ako nung kakapanganak ko lang. Stuck at home ako caring for my baby, hindi naman maka-focus sa work, and putol-putol tulog, so all that time I spent fine-combing the internet for information. I even sacrificed some work time and precious, precious sleep because I was so hungry for knowledge.

What really accelerated the process, though, was finally putting some money in the stock market. May taya na ako, so I was forced to apply what I had learned. At that time, the market was correcting very deeply, and it did so three very hurtful times. Ayun, ang laki ng "tuition fee" ko. But I stayed my course, trusted the wisdom of Buffett, Livermore, and other mentors, and by the start of 2014, things began to pay off. Last Monday, I finally reached a goal of being assigned my own relationship manager at COL Financial.

Your client's advice is good, but I noticed that people love to recommend investing in the stock market when it's a bull market. It's a good bandwagon to jump on -- it is a very good sign when more and more Filipinos become interested in finance -- but it is already late in the game. There is still something to squeeze out of this bull run, but please do your due diligence. The people who already made money are now, of course, telling others, "look at how much I made, let's buy!". Then, when you buy, they'll be the ones selling and getting out.

Check out this cycle of trading emotions. With the consolidation at 6500-6800 over and the PSEi breaching and holding 7k, it looks like we are at #3.
