Anyone who can give his/her analysis? (la akong alam sa technical analysis eh)

Mashiyang naman ako sa technical analysis kaysa fundamentals -- I feel like numbers, charts, graphs, and math are absolute and have only one exact result, while fundamentals can be subject to interpretation. Sa charts, I can see the behavior of a stock as clear as day, pero yung mga earning reports, and etc.? So alien to me, and minsan, kahit maganda ang valuation, bagsak pa rin yung stock.

If you want it simple, you can also just follow the buy and sell signals in COL's charting. And stick to blues, although minsan din, may pera sa basura. Haha.

Last march, tel gave 112 dividend per share if i'm not mistaken. I always have tel lalo na kung dividend time. Either i sell it since i'l get a higher gain than the dividend if i sell, or i just hold until dividend ex-date.

what does ex-date means? so i need to purchase pldt(tel) before the ex-date so i can get the next scheduled dividend payout? tama po ba? tnx

Bago lang kami ng husband ko mag invest on stocks. Influenced by my older sister. Nakabili kami ng double dragon, nag IPO two weeks ago. 2.00 per share lang bili namin and kanina lang nag 4.10 na siya per share kaya binenta na namin yung iba, nabalik na yung puhunan namin.

DD is so volatile kaya hinay hinay lang it's nice to grab the chance of gaining dahil bago lang siya pero malaki rin ang chance na matalo dito.

i'm investing my daughter's money kasi and the first shares I bought from is from a company na maganda ang forecast... im wondering if i should buy more, or iba naman

Yes you must purchase before the ex-date so you could be entitled on the dividend. Also, You will still receive the dividend even if you sell your share on the day of the "ex-date"

When I started investing my son's money at stock market... i started with 2 companies... ngayon, after a year, his port has 5 companies already... I think ok na ako dun sa 5 for now. Hehe

For me the best way in investing is still to diversify your fund sis, kahit sobrang ganda ng isang company there are bumps along the way, sabe pa ni melanie marquez, you can never can tell

^yan din sana gusto ko kaso kasi medyo malaki minimum investment dito sa Australia ($600) so iniisip ko, yun second na bibilhin ko, either REIT or an ETF para diverse yun portfolio...

long term naman iniisip ko kesa kasi nasa bank account lang stagnant pera ni baby, might as well invest na since hindi rin naman namin gagalawin or hihiramin pera nya.

this week, REIT or ETF naman buy ko... yun na muna siguro for now

di ko pa kasi sure how much ang dapat iinvest in a year ng newbies like me!
