Agree sobra sobra THB500/person/day for food for 3 days. Ang mura ng street food nila! Mapapamahal ka lang sa bottled water kasi mapapadami inom mo because of their spicy food. Lol! I just had late lunch at Magic, the 24-hour food court at the airport's arrival area. I only spent THB50 for my meal including a can of Coke (medyo mahal pa yan since airport).

For example sa Terminal 21 food court, usually naglo-load ako ng thb200. Di ko yun nauubos - me omelet rice meal, tomyum soup, durian sticky rice and drinks pa.

^Ang mura talaga ng food sa Terminal 21. I had roast duck plus veggies and rice, around 75 baht lang.

Sisses, enlighten me naman, pag mas mababa ang buying mababang peso lang din ang kelangan, diba? I went to this money changer near our place kasi, ang rate nya selling = 1.25 buying = 1.50. Karaniwan kasi ng nababasa ko 1.29-1.35 ang rate. San ba ko mag base? selling or buying? sorry super noob ako pagdating sa ganito. TIA

^Sis lagi mo isipin ikaw yung bibili or magbebenta. So, YOU buy or YOU sell. Sa example mo, YOU sell your THB at THB1 to PHP1.25 and YOU buy THB at THB1 to PHP1.50

So, hindi maganda bumili ng thb sa kanila, kasi 1.50 eh? if kelangan ko ng 3k thb, 4,500 pesos dapat ang ibayad ko. the more na mababa ang buying mas mainam? may nababasa kasi ako sa ibang forum, maganda mag papalit "dito" or "doon" kasi MATAAS ang rate, kaya naiisip ko naman dapat mataas ang number, kelangan pala mababa? Tama ba intindi ko?

^sis don't confuse yourself by thinking mataas or mababa na rates. Ganito na lang para mas claro:

You see two columns sa exchange rates, right? BUY and SELL. Since wala ka pang baht at bibili ka pa lang dun ka sa BUY column tumingin. Wag mo na pansinin yung Sell kasi lalo ka pa malito.

So far the best money changers I've seen in Manila are Czarina's and Sanry's. Di naglakalayo yung mga rates nila. Kung dito ka sa Bangkok magpapalit I recommend Super Rich. Marami silang branches all over pero so far lagi maganda yung palit sa branch nila sa airport arrival area sa may basement going to the airport rail link train.

Yes krisel_06, marami. Si hubby nag Pad Thai eh, tapos yung condiments nila, sugar, ground peanuts, and chili, nakalabas lang. Kung dito sa atin yun, malulugi yung store hehe.

^magsawa ka sa pad Thai sis! Last night hubby and I had street food for dinner. Simple Pad Thai was only THB30 kung gusto mo extra like crabs or shrimps with it additional ka lang THB10-20.
