Mga sis, patulong naman ako pagawa ng iti based  sa mga places na gusto namin mavisit.  Manggagaling kami ng SR sa Mo Chit bus terminal kami i-drop off ng bus around 4pmish na, wala pa din kami hostel na pagstayan.

^ sis, I think workable to:
- April 2 quick check-in sa hotel (I'd suggest Siam or Pratunam area, near any BTS station) then Terminal 21 malling and dinner
- April 3 early start, GrandPalace and W.at Po sa morning. Lunch and Madam Tussauds sa hapon. Baiyoke Sky late afternoon, before sunset (I'm assuming you just want to go to the revolving roofdeck?). Dinner sa Chocoville.

Chocoville is kinda out of the way and I personally haven't been there. But if I may suggest an alternative, in case naalangan kayo mag-Chocoville.. go to Asiatique instead. There's tiangge also, me restos, me food court din. Andun din yung Calypso Ladyboy Show.

Or another alternative for April 3 - after Madame Tussauds, tiangge shopping in Pratunam (inc Platinum Mall) then dinner sa Baiyoke Sky (better if me prior reservation), then go to the revolving roofdeck at night. Para hindi masyadong cramped and magkakalayo ang pupuntahan.

I read from other forum nga na labas na ng bangkok ang chocoville, kaya lang gusto talaga namin to mapuntahan   malapit sa National Stadium BTS Station ang place na pag stayan namin sis pede kaya na Baiyoke (dinner & revolving roofdeck) kami on first night? hindi ba malayo? tapos 2nd day early morning grand palace & W A T pho, lunch & terminal 21 sa afternoon then chocoville ng late afternoon till dinner sa 2nd day? erase na muna Madame Tussauds. except for chocoville, lahat ba ng gusto namin mapuntahan sis accessible via bts? we are 4 in a group, mas cheaper ba if train or cab? Paki check ulit sis if okay iti namin, thanks in advance!

^ for your first night, yup pwede yung Baiyoke Sky. Bale BTS kayo from Mo Chit Station to your hotel near National Stadium Station. Going to Baiyoke, pwede na kayo mag-taxi kasi medyo malapit-lapit na lang, and 4 pax naman kayo. Sulit na ang taxi, malamang wala pa 100thb aabutin.

Ok din yung 2nd day mo, na skip na lang Madam Tussauds. Pwede taxi na kayo to Grand Palace pero most likely e kokontratahin kayo ng driver.. kung nasa 200-250thb kontrata, for me, pwede na yun. Pwede naman humaggle kahit 150thb na lang, if ever.

Alternative if gusto nyo ma-try other modes of transpo: BTS from National Stadium to Saphan Taksin Station (dulo, by Chao Phraya River). Then waterbus from the pier going to Grand Palace - pagbba from boat, short walk na lang from boat station to Grand Palace. After GP, walk around the block to get to W.at Po entrance gate. After, pwedeng taxi na to Terminal 21 (kontrata, most likely) or pwedeng boat ulit then BTS to Terminal 21 (Asok Station).

Going to Chocoville, taxi kayo. According to a friend, better if magkontrata na daw ng taxi na sasakyan pauwi from Chocoville kasi madalang daw taxi dun sa area.

Feedback ka din about Chocoville ha. Ilang beses ko na binalak pumunta pero lagi ako tinatamad and naisip ko baka di sulit ang taxi kung kami lang ni hubby. Pero pag nakapag-bkk kami this year, baka puntahan na namin. Just waiting for more feedback.

Yes sis, mag feedback ako about chocoville at sana maenganyo kita mag chocoville sa feedback ko. Kung okay ang maghatid samin na taxi papuntang chocoville sya na rin kunin pabalik. sana lang di kami tagain.   

Anong oras ba ang rush hours sa bkk? same lang din ba dito sa atin?

^ almost same hours yata sa atin ang rush hour nila.. but traffic could get worse around Siam area (esp yung sa may harap ng Paragon banda) lalo na pag Friday/weekends.

Here in Bangkok now. Nice and sunny! Medyo malamig this morning at 19C when we got in this morning via CebPac. As the day goes uminit din naman.

Fyi for those coming in or leaving from Bangkok anytime soon, give extra time allowance for your immigration clearance. Grabe haba ng pila kanina. Panay sorry ng mga IO sa tagal ng processing. They have a new system daw kasi and naninibago pa sila. Meron pa ngang tech support sa likod nila. Hehe.

help naman mga sis! 

i have a list of places na gusto nameng ivisit, i need help kung pano ang tamang pagkakasunod sunod para mapuntahan namen lahat. we'll arrive BKK (suvarnabhumi airport) on apr 21st at 12:10pm and we'll leave BKK apr 23rd at 1:50pm, very short time so please help me create our itinerary!    we'll be staying at pathumwan princess hotel. we don't want to spend a lot of time sa bawat places, we just want to be able to visit and take pictures.

we would like to visit :

- grand palace
- w at pho (reclining buddha)
- w at arun (temple of dawn)
- floating market
- baiyoke tower for dinner
- elephant farm
- malls

^^sis I just stayed overnight at the Novotel across the terminal since I was flying to Mandalay, Myanmar. Pag balik namin next week 2-nights kami and still staying sa Novotel since late arrival and early departure kami.

^^ sis, sobrang short ng time mo, I don't think makakapunta ka pa ng elephant farm since this kinda outside the city already. Floating market din is outside the city pero you can squeez this in sa morning ng Apr22.

Anyhow, my suggestion:
Apr21 - check-in, Platinum Mall (airconditioned tiangge), Baiyoke Sky (dinner and roofdeck)
Apr22 - morning: start early to floating market (i suggest rent a private car thru your hotel, until 10am siguro kayo dun); from floating market - Grand Palace, lunch outside GP; w.at Po, w.at Arun after lunch; then malls - Terminal 21, Paragon, Central World, MBK (another airconditioned tiangge, if may time pa). Dinner in one of the malls (ok food courts ng T21, Paragon and CW).
Apr23 - you need to leave latest 11am for the airport (if naka-online check-in na kayo; otherwise, leave earlier). So wala na masyado magagawa dito. I'm not so sure sa location ng hotel but baka me mga street stalls na open ng maaga around your hotel so you may check it out na din siguro.

our hotel is right on top of MBK, do you think may oras pa ko maglibot if i'll get up early? what time ba nagbubukas ang malls nila... some people say 7am, other say 9am?

^ day 1 - check the hours for the temples kasi sa pagkakaalala ko until 4pm lang sila. So alanganin kayo. Baka around 2pm pa kayo makarating ng hotel nyan, considering the pila sa immigration, luggage + travel time from the airport. Then travel time again from hotel to temples area.

Day 2 - sa Damneon Saduak me malapit-lapit na elephant village (kung elephant ride lang ang habol). Pwede sya gawin both ng half-day. Me mga packages na ganun (check out Bangkok.com, me various combinations dun, inc yung me Rose Garden). You'll be back in Bangkok na for late lunch. Pwede pa makapag-mall before Baiyoke. 

Day 3 - sa pagka-alala ko sa tiangge malls: MBK opens 10am pa (9am pag weekends?). Ang maaga na naiisip ko is Platinum Mall, 8am yata pag weekends, 9am pag weekdays (not sure ha, check their website na lang). But honestly, if mag-Platinum ka pa before leaving for the airport ng 11am e medyo alanganin na yan. Mabibitin ka lang. You can take your chance at MBK since it's near your hotel na, you can buy some souvenirs there.

@bagaholic_chewy, thanks sis! we are not checking in any luggage so siguro plus na yun sa time namen. also, we do not plan on spending so much time sa bawat temple, i honestly just want to take pics since mainipin si hubby. kaya kaya kung 5:30pm ang sara nila? di rin kami mag-eelephant ride, di ako big fan nyan eh. :/ i saw a documentary about kung pano sila tinotorture para mapaamo at masakyan ng tao at mapasunod sa gusto ng tao para mailagay sila sa mga shows. gusto ko lang tlaga makita ang mga elephants.

sa may rose garden pala malapit din ang samphran elephant ground & zoo so pwede na rin yun siguro. saka balak namen maglunch sa floating market kung matagalan kami. to be honest, yung lunch kung san na lang abutan since marami namen street foods don. yung shopping siguro pipiliin ko na lang kung alin pwede puntahan according sa time na available. i also chekced that website yung bangkok.com, actually meron sila itinerary suggestions based on number of days na stay mo. ito yung sa 2 days na nakita ko parang same sa gusto ko!

Hi mga sis. We have a 5-day trip sa BKK. 2 lang kami ng sister ko ang DIY lang. First timers kami. We will stay at Holiday Inn Express at Pathumwan. Arrival is on Jan. 27, 8:45am. Departure on Jan 31 9:35am. Here's my proposed itinerary. Hingi ako ng suggestion sa inyo. TIA.

Day 1
     - The Escape Hunt Experience (may naka-try na ba nito?)
     - The Grand Palace
     - W a t Pho
     - W a t Arun

Day 2
     - Safari World
     - Art in Paradise
     - Siam Ocean World

Day 3
     - Jim Thompson House
     - Chinatown
     - Floating Market

Day 4
     - Chatuchak
     - Shopping

^ looks ok. Sa Day 3, unahin nyo ang floating market. IMO, you should be out of the floating market by 10am or so, pabalik na ng BKK or papunta na sa next site - di masyadong mainit at wala pa masyadong tao (mas malinis ang market pag mas maaga, LOL!).

^^ Samphran Elephant Ground and Zoo is ok din. Me elephant and crocodile shows (check their site for the scheds if you want to watch). We usually pair this with floating market when we're showing friends around. From floating market, diretso na Samphran, dun na din ang lunch, pwede na yung buffet nila, reasonably-priced na. If i may suggest, do not join a group tour for this day. Have a private tour na lang or hire a car with driver from your hotel, so you can customize your itinerary and you can control your hours to cover the places that you prefer. If tama pagkaalala ko, Rose Garden is not really near Samphran. 30-45mins travel pa din yata yun.

Well, if there's no delay in your flight and no checked-in luggage, you may work it out. Anyway, I just googled, up to 3:30pm lang ang Grand Palace. You can rush this naman, pic sa big pagoda, sa Temple of Emerald Buddha, a few outside the grand palace, etc. Just walk fast kasi malaki ang grounds. And there's only one direction in and one direction out so medyo iikot ka talaga. W.at Po (reclining buddha) is up to 5pm daw, same with W.at Arun so most probably aabutan nyo pa to. Then from there, diretso na Asiatique.

here's our actual IT:

jan 8 - flight to BKK. arrived around 2am (jan 9) in BKK City Hotel
jan 9 - was supposed to go to grand palace pero since medyo late na kami we went to Siam and walk to MBK. had lunch at MBK food avenue. went back to hotel past 3pm to rest. then leave hotel again around 6pm. took BTS going to Baiyoke for buffet dinner. Medyo mahal yun dinner namin kasi di ako pwede ng seafood kaya sa 82nd floor kami.. at nakakatawa..nakalimutan namin magpunta sa deck went to tiangge sa labas ng baiyoke sky.
jan 10 - went to grand palace, w@t po. skipped na namin w@t arun. kasi di naman kami masyado mahilig sa temple. hehe.. lunch at krisa then back to hotel again to rest. left hotel again going to asiatique and watch muay thai live show. wala kami reservation..we arrived around 7:45pm and the show started exactly 8pm. ikot ikot lang kami sa asiatique and pila sa boat pabalik.. last trip yata is 10 or 11. tapos dinner in side-street stall near the hotel. masarap naman..then foot massage at zen tara near the hotel as well. may pampatulog ba yun? grabe para kong nahimatay sa sarap ng tulog ko haha..
jan 11 - late ulit nagising kaya di tuloy ang floating market hehe..saka di namin maabutan un travel agency sa BKK city hotel. went to platinum mall, then buy pasalubong kaya taxi na kami pauwi kasi medyo madaming dala. wala naman akong nabiling clothes kasi ang tingin ko pareho ng divisoria at tinda sa online shops alis din kami agad to go to terminal 21 then walk na lang going to cabbages and condoms restaurants. GPS na lang kami kasi medyo mahirap intindihin accent nila kung magtatanong kami hehe. then BTS kami going to patpong night market. matindi pala talaga ang tawaran dito hehe.. nasilip ko ang mga gays sa club at nakakainsecure! babalik talaga ko sa BKK para magparetoke haha. foot massage ulit at mas mahimbing na tulog ko this time..sobrang bangag ako after haha.
jan 12 - half day tour : floating market, elephant village and royal thai handicraft center. asked the tour guide to drop us off at MBK for last minute shopping of pasalubong. we just walked back to BKK city hotel. arrived around 4pm then dinner again at side-street stall near the hotel. check out at 8pm for 12:05 am flight which was delayed for more than 1 hr. hehe..
this is our honeymoon kaya di pwedeng amazing race ang IT at siempre kawawa naman si hubby pag nagshopping talaga ako kaya daan daan lang sa shops

For sissies who shop a lot in Bangkok, has anyone tried shipping a balikbayan box from Bangkok to Manila a-la Johnny Air? Figuring out how to bring home stuff without having to sit on my luggage. Baka mas cheaper pa than buying extra kilos of baggage allowance.
