Mga sissies who went to Ayutthaya, have you seen if there are available lockers in the train station where we can leave our backpacks? TIA!

When we went to BKK last September, we booked a tour as recommended and referred by my companion's friend. Nakamura pa kami compared dun sa workmate ko na nag-DIY, kasi when you get a tourguide sure kang hindi ka tatagain sa prices lalo na sa clubs (like sa pingpong bar ang singil lang samin was around 400baht, my friend na nag DIY siningil almost 3k pesos!). Mabait naman yung company, special kasi yung itinerary namin kasi we are both in our 20's and both girls and iba ang trip namin kesa dun sa mga kasabay namin sa tour so halos the entire time solo naming yung isang Innova and may personal driver kami while the rest nakasakay sa tour van We were so happy with the service kasi anywhere we want basta kaya ng time ihahatid kami, kaya ang laki ng tip namin sa driver. They are also very honest in recommending places to go to. Next time try daw namin mag Pattaya and they'll give us discounts dun sa affiliated hotels nila.

Hindi ako mahilig sa temples and zoos though we visited the temples and elephant park. Floating market, pratunam, the usual. What I really enjoyed was the food, even the streetfood around Khaosan and Soi Rambuttri, panalo. We spent <30k all in sa 3D2N trip per head. 6.8k RT tickets, 3k tour (including entrance fees), 2k lodging, the rest for shopping and food. Would really recommend Bangkok for travel.

my friend and i plan to tour bangkok and cambodia on feb next year. please help me improve our itinerary for feb 14-18

feb14
9am - arrival at bkk
10am - finish with immigration
11am - early check in ( no hotel booking yet but i plan to stay at bkk city hotel)
12pm lunch
1pm - tour at grand palace and w a t pho. kaya pa kaya isama ang w a t arun?
6pm onwards - shopping around pratunam

feb 15 - ayutthaya tour
ok kaya Diy? 2 lang kami ng friend ko. hesitant kami to get a tour package. mas prefer namin hawak yung time. the problem is..hindi kaya mas mapamahal kami?
another question, if we will leave the hotel at 8am, mga around what time kaya kami makakabalik ng hotel from ayutthaya?gusto ko sana magbook ng flight to siem reap ng around 7pm etd. yan lang kasi pinakalate flight ng airasia.

feb16 - 17 - siem reap tour
feb18 - trip to bkk via bus
etd for manila 00:30am

*if i will get the flight to siem reap ng feb 16 instead of feb15, earliest nila is 10am pa. mas ok po kaya?

day 1 - feb 14 nyo, keri naman kahit isama mo pa yung W a t Arun, sa kabila lang naman yun ng W a t Po.

day 2 - 2 lang din kami nung nagtour sa Ayutthaya, dun na kasi mismo may tour guide. hindi naman kayo mapapamahal kasi per person naman yung singil nila, like 300 baht per hour yung tour per person. pero pwede nyo naman tawaran yun. hawak nyo na din time nito, kasi sila na magsasabi kung yung temples na pupuntahan nyo para ma maximize yung time nyo 

If 8am kayo mag start ng Ayutthaya tour , from BKK at least 2 hrs or less yung byahe + 3 or 4 hours temple tour + 2 hrs ulit pabalik sa BKK.
4pm or 5pm eta sa BKK

for Siem Reap, Angkor W a t tour is kaya naman ng 1 whole day

how much sis total expenses nyo sa ayutthaya tour? baka may recommended tuktuk guide ka. separate pa ba ang guide nyo sa tuktuk driver? and per person talaga ang charge? akala ko 300 baht per hour e per tourguide na sya sis.

Sa angkot w a t tour kunin ko sana ang small circuit at big circuit. give up ko nalang ba ang big circuit para one day lang spend ko sa cambodia.

lastly, dapat ba at least 4hrs before our flight nasa airport na kami for our 7pm flight? o 2hrs enough na po? sa don muang airport kami mga sis. =)

^ maliit lang ang Don Mueang airport, pwede na ang 2hrs before.

baka alam mo din sis pinaka okay na mode of transpo papunta Don Mueang airport? parang mahal at matrapik kasi pag by taxi. my initial plan is mag airport link then from Suvanabhurmi airport magfree shuttle papunta dun. any advise po?

^^ sis, the link shared by @mama_squeak is pretty good. Gi en that option, I'd suggest na taking the BTS to Mo Chit then taxi from there to Don Mueang. Parang anlayo pa kasi if you go to Suvarnabhumi pa for the shuttle. Consider also that you may have some waiting time pa for the inter-airport shuttle. And consider that mag-iikot pa kayo during the day before you proceed to the airport.

^September or October is good. Para hindi na rainy season, though nung pumunta nga kami nung September maulan pa rin. Safest would be October.

Well, we went there ng October, inulan kami sa Ayutthaya,  super-lakas kaya medyo madulas at maputik mag-ikot sa ruins..

We also went ng September, ok naman, me sandali lang na umambon.

Went din ng March and April, medyo mainit. Pero keri lang.. Feeling ko better for sightseeing kasi at least hindi maulan/maputik.

hi sisses. baka you have suggestions on best IT or blog which i can use as reference. jan 8 na flight namin and wala pa kaming IT. sobrang naging busy sa wedding preps kaya we don't have time to do research anymore. jan 8 midnight arrival in BKK. leaving jan 13 12am so parang until jan 12 lang tour namin. will stay in BKK city hotel. parang di namin afford maghire ng tour guide.  please help. thanks...

Here's the it i have prepared so far based from the quick backread..
jan 8 - (via cebupac) late night arrival at bkk. Will take a cab since airport link is already closed. Check in at bkk city hotel.
Jan 9 - breakfast at hotel. Grand palace complex then back to hotel to rest. I believe this can be finished half day pero since si hubby kasama ayaw ko mala-amazing race ang IT namin.
Dinner at baiyoke sky - any suggestions for nearby mall na pwede kami magikot in case we arrive early for dinner.
Jan 10 - ayuthaya tour but no booking yet. Pwede pa kay kami magbook sa hotel upon arrival? Khao san road if hubby still have energy hehe
Jan 11 - malling and muay thai live show at asiatique. No booking pa dn kasi nahirapan ako gamitin website nila.. nagiging thai. :-(
Jan 12 - malling ulit. Rest na by 3pm to prepare for midnight flight.

^ for Baiyoke Sky, walang mall talaga na malapit. Meron, mga tiangge. If maaga kayo, you can go to the revolving roofdeck na muna before dinner. Sa pagkakaalala ko, free naman na to if me dinner booking sa resto ng Baiyoke.

Re Ayutthaya, most hotels have tour desks naman so you may book pagkadating nyo dun. Or you may book online sa Bangkok.com. I used that site several times na and reliable naman. Madami Ayutthaya tour combos na andun.

going to bangkok this april, i booked our hotel at pathumwan princess hotel. any feedback for this hotel? i haven't booked our flights yet, san ba maganda magbook online or sa travel agent? thanks in advance!
