Thanks, bagaholic_chewy and princess lorraine. Sabi kasi nila ang init init daw sa Grand Palace at super dami ng tao. Kelangan ba talaga ng 1 whole day for that? I'm thinking na sa isang araw pagsabayin lahat temples. Una Grand Palace, Emerald Buddha, Reclining Buddha at Temple of Dawn. Worth it naman siguro lahat sila? Malayo ba lahat sila sa Pratunam? Magkakalapit ba mga temples na to? We're working on a tight budget and sked kasi since I am planning to do a 2 day shopping so 1 day or half day lang sana temples. =) Kaya ba?

Magkakalapit lang ang Grand Palace (nasa same compound na din ang Emerald Buddha), W.at Po (reclining) and W.at Arun (dawn). Usually, kaya naman ng halfday to. Like start early sa umaga, then until 1-2pm Para me rest in between.

Gaano kalayo ang IKEA from Pratunam? Worth visiting ba Grand Palace?  Mahal kasi entrance fee. hehe. Also, sino na naka-try nung Chao Praya Dinner Cruise? Worth it ba?

Sis, medyo may kalayuan. Kung galing ka sa Pratunam pwede kang mag bts Sukhumvit line. Sakay ka sa Chitlom or Siam Station all the way to Udom Suk. May free shuttle dun going to IKEA.

As regards to your other questions, tama sila sis bagaholic_chewy at abbeydasassy. Kaya ng half day ang Grand Palace tour. Ang Emerald Buddha temple nasa loob ng compound ng Grand Palace. Mga 2 hours pwede na sa Grand Palace. Advice ko, magdala ng payong kasi sobrang init at lately, nag uuulan dito sa Bangkok.

Does anyone stayed at My Hotel Pratunam? Eto sana yun choice ko kaso I'm having second thoughts kasi nababasa ko sa review na malayo sa bts. Although may free tuktuk service yun hotel kaso ihahatid ka lang daw hanggang main road. Malayo ba talaga sya sa bts?

Or  please recommend any budget hotel near shopping area in Pratunam as well as walking distance to BTS. Thanks

Hi sisses, we pushed thru with our Bangkok trip, and it was safe. Everything was normal naman, except for the heat. LOL. We had a very nice experience. I think we tried almost everything na pwede puntahan in terms of tourist attractions. haha
We went to the Crocodile Farm, Ayutthaya, Ancient City, the Grand Palace, Wa.T Pho, Wa.t Arun, and watched Siam Niramit. I agree in bringing an umbrella kasi the weather is very unpredictable, parang dito. Sad to say, I got sick dahil sa change in weather
I also love the shopping places in Bangkok. Super init ng Chatuchak, but it was not as bad as I expected. We stayed in Mercure Bangkok Siam, and it is just accross MBK and in the Siam area. We also went to Madame Tussauds Bangkok. Natuwa naman kami ng friend ko dun

Thanks for all the replies. =) Medyo OT pero tama ba sa Mochit yung bus papunta Siem Reap? After BKK mag Siem Reap kasi kami eh. Tapos kung direct bus ba sasakyan namin  bibitbitin pa rin luggage pag bumababa sa border para mag pa stamp or no need, ok lang iwan sa bus? Ano okay na direct bus from BKK to SR? Salamat! =)

^sis huit, yung direct bus papuntang SR yes sa Mochit Bus Station Terminal, pwede ka din makabili sa Thai Major Ticket Outlet sa 6th floor ng Siam Paragon. Mabilis ma sold out yung ticket, agahan nyo na lang bumili.

Ah talaga? Kunyari sa July 8 ang byahe namin papunta Siem Reap okay lang na July 5 kami bumili ticket? So okay na rin iwan luggage sa bus?

^sis hindi kami nakasakay nun sa direct bus, kasi naubusan kami ng ticket. A day before naman kami nagpunta nun sa Mochit at Siam Paragon, pero sold out na agad, dapat daw inagahan namin bumili. Meron din sa online, thai major ticket din.

@giggles, Yes maulan. Ang lakas nga ng ulan nung pumunta kami sa Chatuchak. And most of the time gloomy ang weather in the morning when we were there pero tulad dito, umaaraw din kasi umitim kami ng friend ko when we went temple-hopping.

@esor, tinry ko rin bumili online pero di ko maintindihan, baka mamali pa ako, hahaha! Kaya plano ko sana bukas pagdating namin BKK punta na kami mochit station para bumili ng tix for tuesday trip namin sa SR. Sana di pa sold out. =/

hi there po! i would like to ask po sana if saan ang victoria's secret and bath and body works na store sa bangkok. meron po ba sa MBK mall? a friend of mine will be going to bangkok at papasuyo ko sana 17 pcs of lotion or mist of victoria's secret or bath and body works. kung ano ang may sale at mas madaling hanapin. thank you po!
