Reading the posts here makes me want to go to Thailand right away. May clothes ba dun na KPOP inspired?
I also read sa ibang blogs na karamihan ng clothes dun is for petite or skinny people? Is it true?

^ I'm leaning towards plus-size and me nabibili naman ako. pati for hubby na 2xl US size e me nabibili din ako.  Pero yes, "regular-sized" peeps have more choices, and mas madaming murang items.

Day 1:
MNL to BKK ETA 8:55 AM
Hotel check in (Bangkok City Hotel)
Chatuchak - may pwede ba kaming kainan dito?
suggestions for bruch?
Dinner: Chocoville

Day 2:
D-I-Y Ayutthaya (hopefully elephant ride na din)
-W Yai Chai Mongkol
-W Mahathat
-W Phra Si Sanphet
-W Chai Wattanaram

san kaya pwede dinner?

Day 3:
Malling Galore
MBK, Platinum, Paragon, Terminal 21
sobra ba tong nakakapagod? do you suggest i do it on separate days?

gusto ko rin pala puntahan duty free and Big C

Day 4:
Temples Galore:
Grand Palace and the Emerald Buddha
W Pho
W Arun (diba dito yung pwedeng mag rent ng costumes for photo ops?)

pwede pa bang malling after or kapagod na? saan pwede kumain?
Baiyoke Sky Tower kaya?

Day 5:
balak di namin mag floating market for photo ops.

saan okay mamili ng fruits? pwede ko bang iuwi dito yung fruits?

May babayaran pa bang terminal fee sa Suvarnabhumi Airport pag pauwi ng pinas?

Hi Sisses! My husband, two-year old son and I are going to Bangkok next week.  We will be there for 5 days.  I was wondering whether kaya naming magsolo or dapat kaya may tour guide kami?  Mabigat ang anak ko (20 kilos!!!) at malikot.  Natatakot ako baka mawala o sobrang mapagod kung lakad galore kami, or mapamahal pa kami kasi clueless kami.

Can you also recommend san maganda shopping?  Yung maganda at mura?  And attractions for my baby?

-- from Ayutthaya, usually nasa Bangkok na by 5pm or 6pm. Pwede kayo dinner sa Asiatique The Riverfront or sa Terminal 21 mall

-- kaya naman, pero lakad-galore talaga. I usually spend about 3-4hrs in Platinum, although me mga floors ako sini-skip. Same with MBK, at least 3hrs din. So depends kung ano shopping style nyo. Sa me gilid ng Central World (across the street from Zen), me Big C. Downtown duty free naman, usually sa 2nd floor lang ako, so i spend about 2-3hrs. You can move MBK sa afternoon nung Temples tour.

Day 4:
Temples Galore:
Grand Palace and the Emerald Buddha
W Pho
W Arun (diba dito yung pwedeng mag rent ng costumes for photo ops?)

-- kaya tong 3 temples (and Grand Palace) in 4hrs. So if you start 8am or 9am, you'd have the afternoon free na. Pwede kayo ulit mag-MBK dito, then mall for dinner. Or mall sa hapon (para me aircon), then MBK sa gabi (dinner until closing time).

Day 5:
balak di namin mag floating market for photo ops.

-- floating market is usually early, start say 7am or 8am. You should be back in Bangkok ng lunchtime.
-- for fruits, usually sa Gourmet supermarket sa Paragon lang kami namimili, pati mga durian chips and other food pasalubong. Pwede ka naman makapag-uwi, icheck-in mo lang. Naguuwi lagi friend ko ng lanzones, thb50-55/kg yata sa Paragon. Mura daw tsaka masarap. Baka me mas mura sa Big C or di kaya sa Pratunam.
-- wala ng babayarang terminal fee palabas ng Bangkok

-- what my brother and his family (bale 3 kids kasama) did, they rented a car with driver to tour them around. I suggest, book a car with driver on some days, then pag within BKK lang kayo, you can DIY (take a taxi or something)
-- my brother and SIL took their kids to Safari World, nag-enjoy naman daw. Although my pamangkins were at least 3yrs old na kasi so they can appreciate stuff na talaga. I have no idea what entertains a 2-yr old.. Perhaps you can go also to Samphran Elephant Ground and Zoo, me elephant and crocodile zoo. Me wax museum din.
-- for chillax mode, you can go to Lumpini Park. Pwede picnic, me play ground din, me man-made lake, pwede mag-rent ng paddle boat. Free entrance.
-- for murang tiangge shopping, you can check out Platinum Mall.
-- is it possible for you to bring a folding stroller, para at least tulak na lang si baby nyo, like pag nasa mall or inside the sights. Parang kakapagod kung kelangan nyo pa sya kargahin..

-- you can check Bangkok.com for the description of these areas. But in my observation, Pratunam yung mga tiangge like Platinum Mall, Pratunam Market. Andun din ang Baiyoke Sky. For Siam, mas mahal na area than Pratunam, andun ang major malls like Central World, Paragon, etc.

thank you sis bagaholic_chewy!   kaya ko rin nabuo yang IT ko because of you and our other sisses. less than a month na lang kaya excited na talaga ako. sabi kasi ng officemate ko may terminal fee sa bangkok.

^ kakagaling ko lang dun last month, wala naman binayaran.. few years ago, like 2006 or 2007 yata yun, meron akong natandaan na binayarang thb500 sa airport. Pero recent trips wala na.

had a blast in Bangkok. Although there were moments na super stressed kami sa traffic and medyo nahirapan makipagcommunicate sa ibang cab drivers, the overall experience was great.

we got to visit most of the places we planned to visit. we enjoyed dinner at Chocolate Ville and temple hopping at Ayutthaya, but most of all, we enjoyed shopping! went a bit overboard, pero it was worth it naman.

we weren't able to go to any floating market, the Rose Garden, Baiyoke Sky and Asiatique.  More on sa Siam area lang kami nakapagmall. Ang dami pa pwede puntahan so we will definitely go back. this time we want to to to Phuket/Pattaya plus shopping ulit sa Bangkok! sana magkapiso fare soon!

i need help!
 im passing by bkk this saturday and will be staying in amari watergate, next day yung flight back ko to manila. how do i reach amari from airport? how much ba ang taxi? from amari where can i go for a very quick shopping? i'll be arriving bkk 7pm na. may bukas pa kayang mall? i need to leave hotel at 1230 the next day.. palagay nyo there's still time to shop? san ang pinaka malapit? saka san pwede magpa change from usd to thb?

Taxi lang kami, sis. Usually 350 baht inabot nung cab namin, then may dagdag sya na 50. Pratunam area din.
