Hello, we'll go to BKK this sat til wed. magstay kami 2 nights Sukhumvit then 2 nights at khao san. DIY lang kasi gusto namen maexplore ng iba pa...

pano kaya kami punta sa Damnoen Saduak Floating Market from sukhumvit? sabi ng friend ko may Van daw na pwede irent papunta dun? i checked kasi yung tours online medyo pricey.. yung friend ko kasi they spent around 1000THB lang daw papunta dun.

^ you can rent a car or van with driver through your hotel's tour desk. Nagawa na namin to before with some friends, 5 kami. Yeah mas mahal pag tour kasi usually me kasama na boat ride, tour guide, tsaka me iba pang stopovers (like the railroad market, or elephant village, etc)..

Kakauwi ko lang galing bangkok grabe tuwang tuwa ako sa mga mall dun. i really loved to shop. Sayang lang di ko napuntahan ang MBK kase ang tagal magbukas. Inuna ko muna un Siam Paragon pagbukas ng mall andun na ko agad then Central World, Platinum Mall and Shibuya 19 saka B Gallery ata yun and Pratunam Market. Next year na lang yun MBK. 10:00am pala open ng mga mall dun para din sa atin.

Natikman ko yun Mango Sticky rice parang suman lang sa atin na nilagyan ng banana or mango sa loob. Sayang di na ko nakasakay sa elephant ride or sa floating market kase super gahol na sa oras pero next year i will try. Main purpose ko is to go shopping.

Nagtataka ako bakit habang namimili ako sa platinum mall may mga luggage ako nakikita ayun pala mga namimili din sila dun nila inilalagay yun wholesale nila binibili.

Tapos sabi ng tour guide namin MBK Mall combination of Signature Clothes and Local clothes,
Siam Paragon puro Signature Brands, Platinum Mall puro Wholesales. Chatuchak - low end pero super cheap. Open Sat and Sun only.

Parang pinas lang ang peg divisoria lang ang peg. hehe Maliit ang mga streets tapos 30 minutes ang byahe from the airport.

Sarap ng massage nila kakaiba dito sa pinas.

You're welcome, mga sis. I really love Bangkok kasi. I've been there a lot of times na pero there's always something new for me to do pag pumupunta ako.. some don't like it kasi it's not as "sosyal" as SG or HK, but for me, I don't mind na "parang nasa Pilipinas lang". I find the people generally warm and nice, the place is safe too.

Fresh from bkk. Sarap mag shopping. Especially sa street harap nag baiyoke 4am-830am nandun sila close yung street. 2x kami nagpunta. Maaga kami kase nagigising kaya go sa early shopping sa tiangge. 3rd time ko na sa bkk pero ngaun lang ako nakapag shopping ng marami. Di kase kasama si hubby. Sa Ten Star Inn kami nag stay 2 blocks away sa baiyoke.

tuesday-thursday bkk morning maiinit tapos cloudy, pero umulan super lakas Wednesday night stranded kami sa 7-11 for 30mins humingi kami ng cartoon sa 7-11 para makauwi lang pang takip sa ulo namin. Better magdala ng small payong para sure.

Hello Sissies! Me and my friends are booked to be in Bangkok sometime in November. May I ask some tips on where we can find good Thai Food (even street foods!) in Bangkok?

I came across Smile Magazine during my flight back here in Manila when I went last week in El Nido e. I saw there's an article about Bangkok but I forgot the names of the places and the foods. I think they are not that pricey when I read them.

I just want to really try street foods and authentic dishes to whichever place or country I visit.

^ madami to. Meron sa Soi 38, isang street na puro kainan pag gabi, nagse-setup sila tables sa may road. Sa first kanto on the right, andun yung nanalong "best pad thai" daw, me newspaper clipping pa sya naka-post. Ok di naman. Malapit to sa BTS Thong Lor station.

Meron din sa may Rangnam road, gilid ng Century Mall, yung street leading to Downtown Duty Free, madami din street food. BTS Victory Monument station.

Sa may labas lang mismo ng Central World, madami na street food carts especially sa gabi. Even the food courts, like in Terminal 21 and in Asiatique may decent local food.

The usual must-try's: tom yum, pad thai, papaya salad, curry (green, yellow, etc), durian/mango with sticky rice, me mga mala-isaw din and other ihaw, at madami pa iba.
