they should be working on going back some features na nakasanayan tulad ng individual tracking time ng mga assignments sa oDesk Tools. Lalo na ang paglalagay ng profile pictures at recent screenshots. mahirap magmonitor ng staffs sa ngayon.

Another year, another need to shop for health insurance again. Hay. GT oDeskers, aside from Philhealth, ano health insurance niyo?

Eto isa sa mga hirap sa pagiging self-employed: masmahal na nga ang premiums for health care, masmaliit pa ang coverage natin.

Care to share your solutions for health insurance for us Pinoy freelancers?

^ I don't have one. Philhealth.

Actually just a big fat bank account that covers health. Sa computation ko noon, parang ganun rin lang ang gagastusin. What frustrates me most is that, hindi lahat covered rin ng health insurance/health care. Or if marami, you have to spend first, then reimburse later.

Also, most doesn't cover seniors. Sila pa naman ang sakitin. My father suffered stroke few years ago, so I know kung gaano kahirap ang magkaroon ng emergencies. Mahal yung bill pero at least nakatulong ang senior discount at Philhealth pero... malaki pa rin ang gastos!

But of course, whatever works for everyone. Pero yung Philhealth dapat meron ka na nyan over other types of health insurance. Di naman mahal ang babayaran sa Philhealth each year.

(Problema na kung may dialysis, *knock on wood*, but I think [correct me if I'm wrong on this] health insurance won't cover the millions that's needed for dialysis. May limit pa rin yan or else "lugi" raw sila.)

^Ay oo, Kaiser, pero halos walang accredited doctors/clinics/hospitals ang Kaiser sa provinces. :6 Medicard and Maxicare lang ang maraming accredited pero mahal. Mukhang back to Blue Cross na muna ako. 'Di naman kami sakitin.
