Ang dami nyo 2 kasi gusto paggastusan na big-ticket items: lot ( of course, a house later); car, wedding.
Eh mukhang wala kayong savings na malaki, kaya puro installment (no offense meant, this is just an observation).
You have to be realistic & moderate your big-ticket wants.
If magka emergency kayo (medical, loss of a job) - pano na yan -- kung sabay sabay installment nyo -- baka mawala lahat. Better if you can postpone the next installment purchase until ilang months na lang yung naunang installment purchase. Just saying.
You ask if MAKATARUNGAN ba?
FAIR you mean? Or TAMA BA, you mean?
1st I gotta ask you: Sino ba mas interesado sa inyong 2 magka lot? Magka wedding?? You?
If it's you na purseguido magka lot, & he went along (Sige buy a lot) -- tapos ikaw din ang purseguido have a not-very-simple wedding -- fair lang na he gets what he wants -- a car.
Hindi fair na yung gusto mo lang ang paggastusan nyo 2 di ba.
Como sya lang pay the car installment, well it seems fair na you pay for the wedding. (Ang bride naman usually ang may power to minimize wedding expenses, or magpa laki nito. )
ANGELOFTHEMORNING, iba na ang takbo ng relationships ngayon. Talagang partnership na nowadays.
More often than not, 2-income families na. BOTH must work.
Atchaka, hindi na ok sa mga most guys nowadays to provide, provide, provide & provide. They also want their gadgets, hobbies, etc etc.
IMO, after your preliminary budgeting -- tignan nyo ganitong approach, discuss it with him.
after providing for your individual shares of the lot amortization --
Split nyo gastos nyo for living together (live in na ba kayo?),
Kung ano natira sa respective income nyo -- eh diskarte nyo na. Like, if he buys a car -- he pays 100% of amortization. If you want a wedding -- ikaw gumawa ng paraan. Tama ba? Oo, realistic & being practical is tama.
Sa pera mong natira after the lot payment share -- bahala ka kung gastosin mo sa family mo or what.
Fair or tama lang yan, para sa bawa't gastos mo or gustong pasukan, consider lang ang kaya mo mismo spend on. That goes for him too. Hindi yung decision mo eh compute in/diskartehan mo din yung pera nung isa. Hindi fair or tama yung ganon.
Yang sinasabi nya sa yo na PAGKASYAHIN MO -- eh reality check na gusto nya gawin mo. Kahit ba TAMA ang expense IF NOT ENOUGH MONEY eh available -- wala, di wala. Out of your budget na, or kumita ka more para masama mo sa budget mo.
Kaya nga ba only mature people (mentally, emotionally, financially mature) should marry. Talagang life-changing ang mag asawa. Things cannot remain the same as before, lalo na if your earning capacity is still limited -- you must really tighten your belts until the day comes na both of you are earning more.
