Aircon - Thead 2

'Yung GE na window-type namin last week lang napalinis since we bought it 2 years ago. The cleaning guys said regular daw dapat ang linis kasi mas magastos daw sa kuryente 'pag hindi.

Ano ba okay na split-type brands? Gusto ni hubby nang Daikin or Condura kaso ang mahal, parang 'di ko ma-take.

^Daikin is good, yan gamit namin sa bahay and powerful sya. Panasonic naman gamit namin sa condo and ok naman sya, 10yrs na rin tho minsan tinotopak pero feeling ko din kasi di maganda airflow dun sa pinaglagyan namin ng exhaust. Bawal kasi nakadisplay sa labas yung exhaust e. Hahaha

LG window type, ipapalinis namin ang aircon then pa add ng freon. not sure if it will help na lumamig ulit ang buga ng hangin.

^sis super bratinella, yung paglinis at pag-add ng freon makakatulong talaga sa paglamig ulit...recommendation din talaga ng mga technician na every 3yrs papalinis ka ng AC...

Ours is Kolin, we bought it in April 2015, until now ganda pa din, last palinis at pa-add ng freon ay nun pang 2017...maganda pa din lamig

Hindi ba recommended every 6 months ang linis?

^Depends sa "pollution" sa area nyo. Yung sa Batangas namin, every 6 months cleaning namin. Sa Makati na tabing daan (puro jeep), every 2-3months yung cleaning. Sa Ortigas naman, although di ganun ka-polluted nang gaya sa Makati, every 3months din yung recommended kasi di maganda yung circulation ng air sa likod ng condo.

We had our 2 ACs cleaned last month and migosh, ang laki ng nagging difference sa electric bill. Prior to having them cleaned, 8-9k ang electric bill naming using 2 ACs for an average of 9 hours every night. After cleaning, naging 5k na lang kuryente naming and this is with a newly installed water heater pa. Tama nga sabe nung cleaner na malaki magiging diffence sa kuryente dahil super dumi na ng AC naming hehe.

^sis janachen, yun din ang sabi ng technician na nagservice samin, pero nag ask around ako, mga neighbors ko nga di pa nakapagpalinis eversince nabili nila, pero so far ok naman daw...

hi sis. ganyan din dati bill namin. mga after 8th month ata na hindi pinapalinis yung ac. wala kasi lalaki sa house nun so mejo natakot na ako na may pupunta mga boylets sa bahay. ngayon actually nakakatipid ako sa kuryente. 3k na lang yung last bill namin from 9k. what i did was on rainy days, or yung mga araw na hindi masyado mainit, i take my kids downstairs sa sala to sleep. naka e-fan lang kami, open windows. at since boys naman sila, wala silang damit. naka shorts at diaper lang yung bunso.

on another note, ask lang po, maganda ba yung panasonic window type inverter? thanks.

I'm looking for recommendations too... I need a window type inverter ac. I'm eyeing the LG brand 1hp, smart technology na din sya. Anyone here who uses that? Or any window-type inverter, what's your brand and how is the performance after a few years? tia

I was eyeing on replacing my Condura 1hp window-type to same brand pero inverter na (WCONH009EV WxH is 560 mm x 375mm). Kaso the size cannot accommodate my existing window opening so I switched to Hitachi Compact sized model RA-10HVQ 1.0hp Inverter (WxH - 470 x 340 mm). Price was Php29,300. I only replaced it last January 2020. So far, so good. Di siya maingay.

Hi sis. Yan din yung type ni husband na aircon. Pero yung 1.5hp sana. How was your bill nung iyan na ang gamit niyo na aircon?

My December bill was 4393. I had my new air-conditioning installed on Jan. 3rd. Both my January and February bills showed around 1600 then went up March by 2760 because of the lockdown. I haven't received my bill which has the April reading.

Pls. note that the change was from non-inverter to inverter na.

^ If I may answer, Kolin Window type Inverter ang aircon namin, mag 3years na since we changed from non inverter to inverter,  naramdaman talaga namin ang tipid sa kuryente,,   mababa lang compared sa mga nababasa ko sa iba, even ngayon na madaming reklamo sa bill nila, yung samin walang increase sa bill, if not mas mababa pa nga ng konti etong april at May namin.

before summer , 25-26 deg lang malamig na pero nung kasagsagan ng init kelangan at least 23deg mukhang bugbog ang aircon halos 24hrs/day din naka-ON, so pinalinis namin, ayun balik ulit sa 25-26deg then super tahimik na ulit, laki ng difference

3 years ago pala nung bumili kami wala pa masyado choices ng brands for a window type inverter, Kolin ang nabili namin due to budget na din ata, Window type kasi may butas na eh, less cost ng installation if we opted to change for a split type. mas madami na atang option ngayon cheaper pa.

regular cleaning at maintenance lang talaga.

Our 1hp Panasonic ac is good and quite new but we moved to a bigger place last January and it's struggling to cool our room. Even with the fan on #3, ang init or ang tagal lumamig especially in the past few months. So we need a 1.5HP ac but we need din na palakihan yung ac slot sa room. With the ECQ ang hirap kumilos.

sis magkano or ilang percent ang nabawas sa inyo?

Sa amin kasi minimum of 18hrs nasa 5600 pataas ang bill namin, noong wala pa kaming aircon nasa 2500 mataas na yan.
