Meaning kapag 3 to 5 hours mo lang ginagamit ang inverter magmamahal yung consumption?
nope, tipid ang inverter even if you use it short time. mas obvious lang kasi ang power savings when used long time.
the only time that i think magkakalapit ang consumption ng inverter and non-inverter is when you use the aircon for 1 hour or less.
sample computation for the sake of illustration only (data is assumed)..
1.5kW inverter typefirst 10 mins = 1500W (Compressor at MAX, to speed up cooling)
after 10 mins onwards = 400W (Compressor lowers power just enough to maintain room temperature)
1kW non-inverter typefirst 20 mins = 1000W
next 10 mins = 0W (Compressor OFF)
next 10 mins = 1000W
next 10 mins = 0W (Compressor OFF)
next 10 mins = 1000W
and so on...
===
1 hour use of airconinverter
1500W x 10min + 400W x 50min = 3,500 W-min = 0.0583 kW-hr
non-inverter
1000W x 20min + 1000W x 200min = 4,000 W-min = 0.0667 kW-hr
power savings = 0.0084 kW-hr per day
power savings (30 days) = 0.252 kW-hr===
3 hours use of airconinverter
1500W x 10min + 400W x 170min = 83,000 W-min = 1.38 kW-hr
non-inverter
1000W x 20min + 1000W x 70min = 90,000 W-min = 1.5 kW-hr
power savings = 0.12 kW-hr per day
power savings (30 days) = 3.6 kW-hr====
5 hours use of airconinverter
1500W x 10min + 400W x 290min = 131,000 W-min = 2.18 kW-hr
non-inverter
1000W x 20min + 1000W x 130min = 150,000 W-min = 2.5 kW-hr
power savings = 0.32 kW-hr per day
power savings (30 days) = 9.6 kW-hr===
10 hours use of airconinverter
1500W x 10min + 400W x 590min = 251,000 W-min = 4.18 kW-hr
non-inverter
1000W x 20min + 1000W x 280min = 300,000 W-min = 5.0 kW-hr
power savings = 0.82 kW-hr per day
power savings (30 days) = 24.6 kW-hr
