^ I bought mine at SM Megamall during the Baby Fair. Meron yan early next year sis but not sure if kasama pa rin si Next9.

^^ Sis happy_pomelo. CD lang kami during daytime and after nagpoo na si baby. Pag di pa nagpoo, drypers pa rin ang gamit. Imbiyerna mama ko sa Alva. Sayang daw pera... lol. With 7 cds, enough na for my baby, good for 2 days siyang gamit, everyday wash.

^^sis vuzhia, thickness lang complaint ko sa 5 layered bamboo charcoal unlike sa ibang mga inserts. pero mas absorbent siya, and dry feeling pa rin, at least for me.

Dunno if we will be early dropping on CD, kasi baby boy has heavier, plumpier thighs, sigh! Quite big rin talaga sya, Ako i only have 12 kasya naman though need to wash everyday, para safe...for baby's skin.

Btw, the flushable liners ba, the same lang sa mga wet wipes na dinry out sa air ang texture? hehe, additional 170 pa rin kc, tipid mode

 I have 5 cds,ok sya everyday laba nga lang. Waiting pa ako sa sunbaby group buy kasi im planning to add 5 more pa. Maganda mag cd kasi less dd gamit namin kay baby ko na mag to 2 months sa october 20. Nakaka 2 dd kami in a day kaya laking tipid din. Mabuti nga at masipag si yaya maglaba.

^ Nighttime CD namin yun. Okay siya kasi tamad ako mag-experiment with different combinations of inserts. At least with alva awesome, yun na yon. Pero parang 6 hours lang siya? I change baby's diaper nalang as soon as I wake up.

^Siguro sis heavy wetter si baby mo kaya hanggang 6hrs lang? Yung iba daw 12hrs mahigit hehe pero Hindi ko naman ata papaabutin ng 12hrs ang isang cd sa bum Ni baby hehe. Kay thrifty mama ka po ba bumili?

May 8 cloth diapers si baby, 4 next9 and 4 tickledmom, pero once a day ko lang napapagamit kay baby kasi weekly ang laundry namin

we have 11 cloth diapers and full time na kami, everyday din laba, madalas na magpakita si haring araw na this past few days kaya madali ng matuyo

nakakaoverwhelm pala ang CD. i just saw this thread and wondered what it was about. napabasa tuloy ako bigla all about cloth diapers. i'm 5 mos pregnant pa [textspeak!] but even before I read about cd, I already want my baby to use lampin. looks like cd's a better option.

so far based on your posts looks like the popular brands are alva baby and next9. i've read about baby leaf as well sa ibang blogs. tuloy research muna and check out the pros and cons.

may nadaanan ako kahapon sa SM Southmall na CD, sa may baby company. Di ko nakuha kong anong brand. 499 sya. Mahal pala.. I thought merong tig 200 lang na CD.

yes sis you can buy 200 plus but less than 300 set sa mga local online sellers :-)

Maraming ok na brand like Alva, Sunbaby, Cluebebe, Earthbaby and mga imported (mahal pero mas ok) din meron

 maganda din naman ang quality sis at tumatagal din depende sa pagamit, most brands na mura ay made in China, yung medyo mahal are made in US...we only have Alva, Babyland, Dandy nappy, and Earth baby in our stash so far and 2 months exclusively cloth diapering na with 14 nappies in rotation, everyday laba yun :-)

1. What detergent do you use for washing?
2. I have A washing machine but would you recommend to soak the soiled part in a basin with detergent first?
3. Hot water ba ang setting sa washing machine?
4. How many CDs should i start with? I bought a 3-pk next9, i know kulang ito.
5. Which one is dryer? Cloth or disposable diapers? Para i will use that pag nighttime.
6. Do you use disposable liners?
7. What is the best brand for you?

1. What detergent do you use for washing?
   -- any detergent na walang fabric conditioner, perfumes or bleach. We use Tide original and sometimes Tide kalamansi. Di ko na ni-try yung expensive brands like charlie's kasi nababasa ko sa mga US blogs, even some US brand diapers recommend Tide because it had emzymes that is effective in cleaning poop and urine.

2. I have A washing machine but would you recommend to soak the soiled part in a basin with detergent first?
   -- you can try using a spray to dump the poop in the toilet first then baban yung inserts until laundry time. Yung covers kasi na may PUL and elastic might get damaged if soaked too long

3. Hot water ba ang setting sa washing machine?
   -- hot water is a no-no for PUL. If inserts or lampins lang ok lang

4. How many CDs should i start with? I bought a 3-pk next9, i know kulang ito.
   -- ideal stash count is 24 and above para narorotate ng maayos and hindi agad ma-overuse. Minsan rin kasi hindi agad natutuyo. I suggest you try different brands. Daming mommies na bumili agad isang katutak ng brands ma hindi pa nila na-try and it turned out hindi maganda fit kay baby so naglleak, or meron din na allergic sa liner ng fabric yung baby. Sayang.

5. Which one is dryer? Cloth or disposable diapers? Para i will use that pag nighttime.
   -- disposables are drier because may chemical yun sa loob that coverts the wetness to gel. This chemical is also the reason bakit hindi totally safe ang disposables. Pero kami we still use disposables at night kasi di pa kasya kay baby most one-size pockets

6. Do you use disposable liners?
   -- i dont. Pero a lot of moms use it when going out lang para easy poop disposal. Otherwise what's the point of going cloth if you use disposable liners regularly di ba?

7. What is the best brand for you?
   -- sa mga nagamit ko palang, I like EarthBaby covers kasi may double-gusset and kasya sa newborn palang. Sa pockets type ko alva 4.0.  Pero sa mga US brand i like Thirsties for cover and Grovia for AI2. Dream ko magka-Modia brand pag medyo malaki na pata ni baby pero mahal kasi ng US brands eh, though value for money talaga
