Hi! Sa mga naka-try ng diaper covers, ano ang pinaka-ok na brand? I read kasi sa previous thread na ok daw yung Thirsties Duo Wrap and it can be used with Chino Pino.

I plan to use Chino Pino muna when baby gets born.. siguro eventually pocket diapers pag kasya na for nighttime. I just ordered 2 Thirsties Duo wrap from zebebe, naka-sale sila kasi now.

Any more recos na ok na cover? And cheaper sana. Thanks!

^sis pareho tayo ng plan, cover muna bilhin ko. 5 months pa lang ako preggy pero praning na sa pagreresearch ahaha! baka mag join ako ng Weegro Cover Group Buy sa MCNP, kuha muna ako 5 pieces cover para initial stash ko...then siguro dagdagan ko rin ng pocket

grabe ha, mejo d ko pa mashado gets yung ibang mga terminologies ng CDs. gumawa pa nga ako ng table based sa thread/part 3 ng CDs dito sa GT kung alin alin brands yung mga covers, pocket, aio, ai2, good for overnight pati mga combi ng inserts. nakakalito kasi hehe!

Im also following question nI happy_pomelo. I'm thinking about using cd after the first month, looks like bonggang paglalaba ang kailangan. But then how much should I set aside to start turning to cds? Yung basic number of cds and inserts kapag 2mos old magstart? Im trying to do research and backreading but I just get the impression that if I dont buy each cd type or brand I wouldnt really know which to use. Did you start out like that too? Concern ko kasi is instead of saving by not using dd mas mapagastos ako experimenting.

i am also new to cloth diapering. 1 month pa lang. i have 12 pcs and i ordered 3 more then stop na muna ako sa number na yun. china brands ang meron ako. sunbaby, alva, babyland and baby leaf. hindi ko macompare yung 4 brands kasi hindi naman nagtatagal na suot ni baby. napagpapalit ko rin yung inserts except sa sunbaby kasi mas maliit compared sa iba. sana may mommy na magcompare ng inserts for night time use. and siguro sa future ko pa mahuhusgahan kada brand. kung anong brand unang lumuwag ang garter, etc. daytime lang nagcloth diaper si baby. disposable pa rin at night. 4-5 pieces nagagamit ni baby in a day kaya naglalaba ako every other day. sa 12 pcs na meron ako, almost 3k ang nagastos ko. kung iisipin ang gastos sa kakabili ng disposables, okay na ang amount na nailabas ko for cd. less gastos and less chemicals na nadidikit kay baby..

Very new sa cd-ing... Though i have read and purchased na  months before we finally use na. I bought the bamboo charcoal 5-layered inserts. hehe, dont want to use the inserts, feel ko masasakang baby ko if i will put pa sa thickness. Minsan, wala na nga insert para comfy, but need to change at once every pee.  Sa night, disposable na.

Hi! Just had my baby shower and I received Next9 cloth diapers. I want to try CDing too. Is Next9 a good brand? I got 3 pcs and want to buy about 6 more. What do you suggest I buy?

kumuha na ako ng 5 slots cover w/ insert sa Weegro Group Buy, for my 1st CD experience, sa February pang due date ko & darating naman yung GB siguro November pa, proud ako sa sarili ko kase meron ulit GB ng mga insert tomorrow & pass muna ako, isip ko kase gusto ko pag bibili na ako ng mga extra insert pag may kasabay ng CD, so feeling ko napipigilan ko pa naman sarili ko sa mga GB na yan & malakas naman talaga kontrol ko sa sarili pag dating sa pag bubudget...hehe!

^^sis hotminty ganun ba talaga kakapal mga insert, hindi pa kase ako nakakakita ng actual CD & inserts, pero alam mo naalala ko yung sinabi ng mama ko nung nanganak sis-in-law ko, sabi ng kuya ko baka daw need bigkisan yung pamangkin kong boy nung baby pa sya kase laging nakabukaka daw at baka masakang & nakita ko na open na open talaga mga legs nya, sabi ng mama ko kung pinanganak na daw na sakang yung pamangkin ko sakang na talaga yun, kase nga daw nasa buto naman yun...ahaha! naalala ko lang, kase coming from my mom na syempre nung araw talaga I'm sure nung mga baby pa kami siguradong naka bigkis kami at kung ano-anong tradisyunal na ginagawa sa mga babies

^^I love Next9 cds. We started with 3 then I bought 4 pieces Alva with 5 layer bamboo insert. Mas absorbent ang ordinary mf ng next9 kesa alva and it stays in place din, unlike the alva.

How's your CD experience so far?

I am waiting for my orders to arrive this week, then they need to be prepped pa. Maybe I can try it this weekend or next.

I am not sure if I can stop DD cold turkey.

But I know this will entail additional work, so I talked to yaya that I will adjust her salary. Might as well let my disposable diaper fund be paid to her than to the garbage. :-)
