Bumili ako ng althea grabe !!!! Nag 400+ na yung price! I will plan taking this for the next 5 months lol because my acne is flaring up again

Hello girls, 1st pack ko with Althea. I'm on my 17th day of taking it, pero dumating na period ko. Normal lang po ba yun?

^When did you take the first pill? It is recommended na kasabay din ng first day of your period para isang buong cycle ang timing. For me kasi, I expect my period within the 7 pill-free days.

^ Not with my first day. Sabi kasi ni OB, take ko lang daw para kahit paano ma-regularize cycle ko. I have PCOS, btw. Duphaston won't work daw kasi that time pagkacheck nya sa TVS.

Concern ko lang now I was advised to take Clomid on my D3-7, di ako sure if need ko pa ituloy yung paginom ng Althea or wag na.

Hi guys, been taking this for almost a year na. Ayon, di naman ako tinitigyawat dito di gaya ng dati.
Ewan ko lang din kung tumaba ba ako dito. Haha, agree ako sa mood swings. Super init na ng ulo ko ngayon, though noon pa namna ako mainitin ang ulo. lol.

Plano ko na sanang mag-palit ng pills. Ang mahal kasi. Ano ba okay na substitute sa althea?

I'm not sure if my experience is similar in terms of 'heavy flow', but what happened was that i had REALLY HEAVY spotting 10 days leading up to my period. Sobrang heavy ng spotting that in the last few days leading up to my period i had to use napkins na kasi the pantyliner couldn't handle it anymore (i count it as spotting kasi it's dark brown/red and medyo sticky). BUT the actual period had lighter flow than my usual, and lasted 2 days lang. 

It's been this way for 2 months (and 2 packs) so far . Ewan ko lang if the color of my flow actually changed as a result of the pills, and hindi na pala spotting yung nararanasan ko haha

first time user po ako ng Althea.. Saturday (12/10/16) po last pill ko and had a contact inside with hubby. 12/11/16 po start ng 7 day free pill ko, till now di pa po ako dinadatnan. bale third day ko na po sa free pills day. possible po ba na preggy ako? thanks

Hi! How long before Althea to take effect for hormonal imbalance/ hormonal acne? Just finished my 1st box. Until now may new pimples pa rin ako.

^ Sakin sis, after the 2nd box may improvement na. On my fourth box, isa or dalawa na lang ang pimples na lumalabas sakin, pag parating na yung period ko. I think iba-iba naman yan, depende sa reaction ng katawan mo lang talaga.

Hi sis tischarmedlife! normal ba na around 1st to 2nd box mas madami pimples? Not sure kasi kung hindi ako hiyang sa Althea o I should give it more time pa. Kasi sobrang nadedepress na ko sa face ko,

^ Ngayon lang ako nakarinig na mas dumami ang pimples sa Althea. karamihan ng kilala ko, hiyang naman. Better siguro if you consult with your OB. baka di ka hiyang.

Hello po. Tanong ko lang po. safe po ba mag unprotected sex right after your pill free days? I had my menstruation po during the 4th - 7th days ng pill free and my bf and I had sex on the 8th day po which is my 1st day of taking pills (3rd pack). then i finished po my 3rd pack. Right now po nasa 5th day ng pill free na po ako. kaso po until now wala pa rin akong menstruation. I'm afraid po baka positive na siya. omg. Thank you.

^If you are in your 3rd pack and have not missed any pills, you are safe.

Sis nakausap ko na OB ko. Sabi nya normal daw na dumami muna pimples. Then 3rd month saka sya magiging ok. Currently on my 3rd month na. Hoping for the best. hehe.

question mag sstart ako to take this pill today (last day of my period) but my partner and I would be together this Saturday. Will it be safe to engage in sex? Although, I told him na mag prepare ng condom. Pero I just wonder. HAHAHAHA. Na sobrahan na ako sa ka-praningan.

^ If you'll ask me sis, kase less than a week ka pa lang nun nakaka-inom ng pills and more than 3 days na after ng last day ng period mo so I think di ka na safe nun. Much better to use additional protection

Hi! Im a newbie here. Nagstart ako mag take ng althea coz it was recommended by my ob due to PCOS pang 10th day ko na today and delayed ako for 1month. Yung side effect ba [textspeak!] is headache and feeling ko lagi ako masusuka lalo na pag ndi pa ako kumakaen. Sana may mag response. Thank you

Noobie rin ako in taking Althea. Prinescribe siya ng OB ko kasi I have PCOS and I missed 2 and 3 months of period prior sa pag papacheck ko. 3 pills pa lang ang naiinom ko and wala pa naman ako masyadong nakikitang side effects aside from sobrang horny ko hehe tapos sobrang lungkot ko pag di ako pinagbigyan ng partner ko, hahaha!

third day ko na sa althea and mukhang effective ang blooming effect. not sure if dahil may new skin product akong ginagamit but my officemates said pumayat daw ako, which is d naman. siguro dahil sa pill.
