My OB prescribed althea because I was dignosed with PCOS. Di ko pa na-try uminom since sa first day daw ng period dapat mag-start.

the first time i tried this pills last February of this month wala naman ako masyadong naramdamang side effects..advice ng OB ko kc i have PCOS...so after nung first pack ko pa lang naging regular na mens ko...hanggang sa itong july nagloko nanaman so my OB said na 4 months ko muna siya take habang wala pa si hubby para maging okay na period ko...i start taking ulit nung August then now nasa 2nd pack na ko...ngaun ko ramdam ang side effects nya...pero bearable naman...both ovary ko na kc ang may cyst...last january kasi isang ovary lang..maybe dahil na din sa stress kaya nagkaganito...kaya as much as possible relax lang and wag pkastress...i hope next month makabuo na kami ni hubby...

ako i stopped it.. pero bumalik nnman irregularity of my period..

Im on my second pack. I've noticed mas moody ako ngayon. But still too early to tell, observe ko muna and decide maybe after finishing this pack if magpapalit ako.

Hi,I’m a first time user of contraceptive pills specifically Althea. Na-take ko siya on the 2nd day of my period. On the 7th day taking the pills, my husband and I "make love" without using condom. Is there a chance for me to be pregnant or it’s still safe? Please advise from those who are using it for a long time now, my baby is only 3months and i’m smoking din pala.

Im a long time user of Althea also and over the years tumindi ang migraine ko. As to palpitations, wala naman ako na experience. Been using it for more than 5 years though hindi naman all year round.

Hello, mga sis! I'm really interested to try Althea since I have PCOS. Dati akong user ng Diane at talaga namang naregulate yung mens ko sa isang pack palang. I just stopped using it kasi ang mahal and nag-normalize narin naman yung period ko  pero tuloy parin ang kalbaryo ko sa PCOS symptoms (oily skin, hormonal acne, facial hair, etc). Ang taas kasi ng androgen level ko. I don't know if it's worth a shot to try Althea. May mga nakakaexperience kasi ng depression, mood swings, palpitations and other side effects. Ang goal ko lang is acne-free skin. Pang-ilang pack kaya makikita yung results?

^Siguro sis 1-2 packs.

Another side effect ng Althea sa akin is when I stopped using it, nag gain agad ako ng weight.

what i experienced about althea, super mood swing...ang tindi sakin...laki ako irritated...lagi nga kami nag aaway ng asawa hehe...mawawala nga talaga acne mo...true hehe

Ako sis parang bipolar ako tapos major paiba iba isip

grabe ka sis...bipolar talaga hehe....pero sobrang ibang tama ang althea...4 months din kasi ako nag inom non to correct my period...

Agree mga sis sa mood swings! Aside from lagi irritated, meron pa akong self pity pag malapit na dumating ang period. Mega iyak pag nasa cr. Para bang aping api sa mundo. Haha!

Grabe naman pala mga side effects sa inyo mga sis. Moody din ako lalo na pag PMS so pano nalang pag nag-Althea pa ko baka iwan na ko ng jowa ko. Haha. Pero dahil matagal ko na rin naman tong pinagisipan, I will take the risk. Antayin ko lang yung period ko para makapag-take na ko tapos balitaan ko kayo dito kung ano effect sakin. Immind over matter ko nalang siguro kung ano mang mararamdaman ko. Hayayay. Excited yet scared at the same time.

^Oo nga sis go ka lang..kung hindi ka maintindihan ni jowa sa "baliw baliwan" mo nandito lang kami..hahahhaa...kumbaga been there done that...hahahaha..goodluck sis!!!

Omg I can so totally relate hahhaah ..yung feeling na parang nagiisa ka na wala kang karamay tapos paranoid ka ah basta ganun hahahaha

^So true sis! Yung feeling na inabandona ka ng mga mahal mo sa buhay at gusto mo na gumive-up. Lakas ng tama ng Althea. Lol.
