Hello sis!

Wala akong makitang new thread ng Althea kaya gumawa na ako. Ask ko lang, I'm already 33 years old. Wala pa akong baby. Is it safe to take althea pills kasi gusto ko yung glowing effect nya sa akin before. and di kaya makaepekto kapag once na gusto ko na magka-baby?

^ Yes. BCPs are OTC naman

@simplepink Saglit lang naman effect ng BCP sa birth control. Like, the whole duration na tine-take mo yung pills. Once you're off it, madali na lang maging preggy unless you have fertilization issues.

Nalilito pa rin ako kahit andami ko ng nabasa. kung magtatake ako ng althea pill sa 1st day ng period ko kelan ako safe makipag intercourse sa partner ko without using 2nd barrier after seven days din kahit 1st time user lang ako ? Salamat sana may magreply i really need answer TIA

Has anyone of you experienced missed period pero hinde naman preggy while taking this?

^^ sa first day ng period mo start ka take nung pill, then hanggang sa 7th day gamit ka muna ng 2nd barrier kasi nag-aadjust palang body mo nun kaya posibleng mabuntis ka. on the 8th day safe na yun..

Dati ako Trust pill user tapos nag switched to Althea pills, 3rd pack ko pa lang. I changed kasi nabasa ko yun mga feedbacks ng iba na nakaka glow ng skin which is true naman saken... Pero gusto ko sana mag increase yung breast size ko. Sexually active ako. Yes, pero yun nga. Gusto ko ma experience yun side effects na nakaka increase daw ng size.

Kase, until now parang walang nangyayari. Could anyone tell me dun sa mga naka experience ng side effects na increase breast size kung gaano katagal bago niyo na experience yun? As in looking forward talaga ko. Huhu.

@simplepink Naka miss ka po ba ng pill? If hindi naman wag ka mag worry. Kasi nagka ganyan din ako. Pero dumating din mens ko after ng free pill days. Nagloko yun cycle ko eh, siguro nag adjust. Pero if doubt ka talaga better mag pregnancy test ka..

Hi,

I've been taking althea for 11 months na and so far, so good. Nung una, I was very paranoid using it kaya nag babackup pa kami ni bf even though nasusunod ko naman yung pagtake. Eventually, I loosened up pero nag withdrawal pa rin kami ni bf, until dumating yung time na pinapatapos ko na sya inside. Sobrang careful ako sa pagtake at nag aalarm pa ko, so ok pa naman sya so far.

Etong last pack ko, nagkaron ako gastroenteritis. So may vomiting and diarrhea naganap. According sa leaflet, dapat mag back up ng 7 days kung may nangyaring diarrhea or vomiting.

Nag do kami ni bf nung morning tapos that night, nag start na yung diarrhea ko. Alam ko sperm can live inside ng 2-3 days pa. Nag vomit ako mga 2-3 hours after tinake ko yung 8th pill of the pack ko. Then 2 hours later after that, i vomited the second time. I was taken to the hospital, given meds tapos nawala na yung vomiting, and yung diarrhea, naging mild na lang. So technically, within 12 hours lang yung severe diarrhea and vomiting.

I continued taking the pills as scheduled naman. Tapos nag do kami ni bf uli 1 week after the gastroenteritis episode. (14th pill) No condom pero pinawithdraw ko sya.

After 3 days uli (which is 10 days after nag vomiting/diarrhea) nag do uli kami pero sa loob sya natapos this time. (17th pill)

Anyone nakaexperience nito? Am I at risk of pregnancy? Kakatake ko lang ng 18th pill ko.

1st take ko po sa kanya is HINDI nung mens cycle ko kasi nakalagay nman dun pwede daw magtake anyday so ayun po.. today pang 9th day ko na ng pagtake ng pills. and me and my boyfriend had intercourse then accidentally narelease nya lahat sa loob ko.
is it possible that i would get pregnant? pakiexplain po ng maayos

Mabubuntis ba kapag late nag-start ng pill pack ng Althea? Imbis na Dec.21, Dec.22 ko tinake at uminom ako ng 1 pill araw araw.

Anyone here po ba na nag take ng althea without going to an obgyne? I took althea kasi na hindi nagpacheck up. I'm perfectly healthy naman medyo irregular ang period like 1 month wala. I'm currently in my pill free week and 1st pack palang. I took it na hindi 1st day ng period ko. As for side effects, I only felt breast tenderness then lumaki na breasts ko after 3 days palang ng pag take ko ng pills. Haven't experienced any other side effects na pero minsan nasakit puson ko for a few seconds lang. Do you guys think effective naman althea? Also, safe na po ba ako pag 2nd pack ko na? Without condoms po. Hope someone honest replies. TIA

Nung first month ang side effects eh migraine at sore boobs
Nung second month side effects ay migraine, sore boobs, severe stomach pains and nausea

Now i am on my 3rd pack and grabe na ang migraine, sore boobs, severe stomach pains at pinakaworst ang pagsusuka nangyayari pa naman ang pagsusuka ng wala ako sa bahay kaya naloloka na ako.

Nakakaglow siya ng balat at totoo nagincrease ang breast size ko from 36b to 38b na ako.

About sa weight gain nung 1st month bumigat ako nung 2nd month pumayat ako itong 3rd month di ko pa alam pero nasesense ko bumibigat ako kaso dala ng pagsusuka baka di rin ako tumaba.

Sa research ko naman sabi na normal pa ang nararamdaman kong side effects in 3 months wag daw muna magchange kasi panibagong adjustment na naman ng katawan.

Sa totoo lang gusto ko na magstick dito sa althea kasi maganda naman ang effect PWERA sa pagsusuka ko kasi yung sakit ng ulo tolerable pero yung pagsusuka ko hinde kasi kahit sa public place nasusuka ako.

Gusto ko lang magawan ng paraan itong stomach pain at nausea na ito. Haaaaaay.

Di ko alam if magpapalit na ako. Help?!

hi gurls, im new in taking althea. im taking it due to PCOS. im on my 14th pills. my question is, does anyone experience emotional side effects on the pills? like anxiety, super sadness. i think the pill is making me fell cranky.

Hi guys, may possiblity ba na ma preggy ako kasi nung last day ng 7-day free pill ko, (7th day, saturday) nagkaron ng inuman samin. nag inom ako and then nag smoke ngayon na lang ulit ako nag smoke.. hindi talaga ako nagyoyosi. And then after nung party, dumeretso kami sa motel ng bf ko para mag do, pero bago yon uminom muna ako ng pill kasi start na ng 2nd pack ko (sunday).  Hindi ba ako ma ppreggy? please help! nababaliw na ako kakaisip.

Yes. That's why i stopped using althea kase lage na lang ako galit.. Kawawa naman husband at baby ko.

Yes sis I also stopped using this kasi sa sobrang nahitapan ako with this pill. I posted in the pills thread my 3 months experience with Althea, I can't handle the side effects di ko kinaya, severe nausea, migraine, hair fall, lage masakit tiyan ko, sore boobs at yun nga napakamoody ko at lahat ng tao inaaway ko, I also felt depressed and kahit wala naman ako problema eh gusto ko maiyak for no reason at all parang sira lang haha, ang positive side effects naman grabe ang ganda ng skin ko blooming talaga and increase in boob size that's about it.
