^hi sis thanks for making new one. I recently had APS test last Tuesday sa PGH. Dun kasi nirefer nun OB ko or sa bloodworks. Only to find out na mahal din pala sa PGH, same lang sa other lab na gumagawa nun. And kulang pa, so after ko makuhanan, dumiretso na ako sa malapit na lab. Meron din kasi sa kanila, complete, walang hassle sa pila at the most makukuha agad results. i can't believe na mas mura pa dun kesa sa pgh. Kung alam ko lang dun na ako..
sana lang negative yun results, masyado mahal ang gamutan nito according sa ka-officemate ko na may same case din..

^sis i would recommend sa manila endocrine laboratory, here's the details;
969 Pedro Gil St. Ermita Manila, 524-5895, 0917-5160986 (mon-sat 8-5pm)
wala pila at isesend na lang sa email mo yun results..
LAC(SCT,APTT.DRVVT) and ACA (IgG, IgM) = 6k (ito yun APAS panel)
Beta 2 = 4k (nirequire lang ako ni OB)
LAT - 5k = (nirequire lang ako ni OB), makukuha agad 3 days after
yun dati kasi pathologist sa PGH lumipat at nagtayo ng sarili nila clinic.. hehe

sa PGH inquire ko
LAC = 3120
and ACA = 3800
Beta 2 = 6k
LAT = 3500 (matagal makuha results nito, 2 weeks pa sa PGH)
madalas pa sa PGH kulang, and not available so babalik ka pa. and mahaba pila.. pero kung may accreditation yun card mo, try mo sa PGH baka makatipid ka..

pero depende sa OB mo kung ano test ang pakukuhanin sayo. puwede ka makamura or mag-add pa.

^naku sinabi mo pa, first time nakaencounter ng ganito kamahal na blood test. pero kung nagwowork ka at ayaw mo at mahalaga yun time mo, better sa private ka na lang kesa sa PGH.. hehe..

oo mga sis medyo matagal nga pag pgh at ang kagandahan pa sa manila endocrine lab, they facilitate to take your blood sample to pgh or st lukes in case wala sa kanila yun ibang test na need mo. one time i took some blood tests sa manila endocrine then i had to do the electrophorosis test dahil sa anemia ko eh wala sa kanila nun, so sila nagdala pgh then yun results sine d na lang din sakin thru email.

medyo magastos talaga ang apas and other related immune issues pero we are very thankful na at leasg there are means na today to help us conceive a syempre prayers lagi,

Mga sis, I am currently undergoing tests for APAS. Talagang gusto kong malaman kung bakit ganun yung nangyari sa previous pregnancy ko. Nakakadurog kasi talaga ng puso't kaluluwa eh...  Moday pa lang ako pupunta sa immunologist to ask for opinion on her side. Yung OB ko gusto nya na ako i-treat for APAS pag nag pregnant na ulit ako. Wala pa akong work for now kaya gusto kong mapaghandaan lahat ng gastos. Mga magkano kaya ang aabutin nitong buong proseso ng treatment until makapanganak (excluding the delivery expenses)?

mga sis, baka may interested sa inyo bumili ng Heparin LEO 5ml (25,000 i.u./u.i) kasi meron ako natira 7pcs dito natira nung nanganak ako. baka mga sis interested kayo, pm niyo lang ako, bigay ko sa inyo at a much lower price. sayang kasi kung hindi na magagamit. expiry date January 2016 pa.

sis, madami factors kasi magcocontribute sa laki ng gagastusin mo e. pero i would say medyo mahal talaga, all the treatments upto panganganak.

ako, i gave birth 6 months ago. i was diagnosed with auto-immune issues category 1, 3, and 5. so technically not apas but still autoimmune. i had daily heparin injections, progesterone supplements in first tri, steroids. towards the end muntik pa ako ma-insulin kasi nakakataas ng sugar ang steroids. lab tests were also expensive lalo yung ultrasound with doppler. so gamot and labs, probably gumastos ako mga 150k. luckily, i didnt have to get ivig infusion which costs about 80k per session. nung manganak ako, including PFs, CS ako, mga 200k. i gave birth din premature so i had to leave my baby in the nicu for 3 weeks, around 250k din yun.

malaki talaga and ubos ipon. pero pag nakikita ko naman baby ko e sulit naman lahat.

hi to everyone! newbie lang ako dito.. and newly diagnosed APAS patient...

From the bottom of my heart.. i would like to thank everyone who participated on this thread.. magmula pa sa thread 1 na pinagchagaan ko basahin.. Thank you so much! You all made me feel better... you brought hope...lalo na yung mga successful na sa TTC process na may APAS.

got married nov 2012, and got pregnant immediately January 2 nalaman ko na agad. wala akong na feel na kahit ano, lahat sinusunod ko sa sinabi ng una kong OB. monthly check ups... tapos nung last na check up ko approximately on my 20th week na dapat, nag pa utz ako... only to find out that i had fetal demise, 3 weeks ng wala yung baby.

wala na palang mas sasakit pa sa mamatayan ng baby. I was perfectly fine, and i'm not even working then. tapos ganun mangyayari... everything was left unexplained after that. Napaka traumatic pa ng ginawa sa akin kasi pinag labor ako using cytotec... sobrang dameng cytotec. Nalaman na wala na yung baby ng april 27- na d&c ako ng may 1 pa. after that, my OB put me on contraceptive pills for 2 mos, tas mag try daw ulet. SObrang [textspeak!] kame ni hubby kaya feeling ko di din kame nakabuo. Then I was reading dun sa ibang thread re: infertility doctors, and I decided to consult Dra. Aguilar. January 2 of this year, I went to her clinic at Friendly care. Mahaba ang pila but it was worth the wait. Nag order sya ng APAS lab test LAT and NK cells basta yung ganun... I had my test at HI Precision. except sa LAT na hindi ko pa nagagawa.. kasi wala pa sila.. PTT, SCT (KCT) Anti Cardiolipin IgM are all elevated.

Now i am on aspirin, and TTC again. this time more dedicated na.. hindi na din bumabata eh... Again, Thank you everyone! and God bless us all...

Help! Ang computation ni dra sguilar ang ovulation ko around 11 ng january to 14... Lmp ko is 1/28 tapos ngayon nagkaron na ako.. Haii do you think it's another miscarriage? Sobrang ikli eh

I have been diagnosed with APAS as well and currently, trying to keep my hopes up for all the treatment that will be happening. Thank you everyone for all the things that you share.
