A poor man asked the Buddha,

“Why am I so poor?”

The Buddha said, “you do not learn to give.”

So the poor man said, “If I’m not having anything?”

Buddha said:

“You have a few things,

The Face, which can give a smile;

Mouth: you can praise or comfort others;

The Heart: it can open up to others;

Eyes: who can look the other with the eyes of goodness;

Body: which can be used to help others.”

So, actually we are not poor at all, poverty of spirit is the real poverty.

yes important yung mga yun. system yan.

no different from exercising -- you have cardio, weight training, diet, supplements (if you fancy them), stretching, massage, rest, plyometrics, etc etc

then for those in the know, under weight training there are different principles, approaches, methods,

in the end if you apply all of them correctly then you're a healthy and fit individual.

Wheee @sis zea. Hahaha.

I feel so grateful to be part of the workshop kase aside from it's free, di na din talaga yun hinahandle ni mdp because it's basic daw, so he let the other healers do it. Sabi niya yung workshop na yun would probably be the last time na siya ang maghahandle nga. :)

Yung healing and breathing methods are important not just to heal a person but also to retain's one health hanggang pagtanda. Other topics are also discussed, like spiritual awakening and karma, other causes of diseases etc.

In love na ba ako? charr  :)

the challenge is for the "poor" to rise.

you need to give more. this tinuturo sa prosperity courses. how to give more. it is in giving that we receive. yes everybody should help, but there's a reason why hindi kasing prosperous ang certain people sa iba. there's a reason why certain countries are poor.

not only giving in the physical yan, but also on other levels. may psychological aspect din yan. some attitudes can really shrink your basic chakra. envy for example, can shrink you basic chakra. so what do you do when you feel envious? how do you prevent your prosperity chakra from shrinking?

so on and so forth.

Paano nga ba bro akthung? Sometimes I can't help it especially when I feel down. What must I do when I feel envious? How can I prevent my prosperity chakra from shrinking?

the very lucky people, they don't feel hardships that much and may even brush something like this off their shoulders pero kasi they don't feel it. they're so lucky that good karma runs after them.

my best friend, even the wrong decisions sa family nila, inc their business, generate good karma.
one time he told me, "you know I don't believe in these things but sometimes i'd like to believe in luck or tulad ng sinasabi mo na "good karma" because it seems like money is chasing my family even the wrong decisions bring us money."  then he gave examples.

but for the ave joe na nayayanig lagi, ayun, need to do more, need to give more.

if you guys can save up for a prosperity course then do so (suggestion lang). at this point baka may mga minamata na kayong path or teacher, pero suggestion lang

In general, to keep one's basic chakra strong, one must

1. purify through meditation
2. diet, predominantly vegetarian.
3. exercise (the squats in MDPs exercises target the basic chakra)
4. Positive attitude and perception of money

avoid saying and thinking,

"money is bad"
"money is evil"
"i don't have money" ---- instead say, "i dont have a budget for that yet"

5. when you feel envious, cut the feeling right away. the simple thing to do is to bless that person. magpasalamat kayo sa diyos na pinagpalaan yung taong yun.

6. never pull a person down. if you help others grow, you help yourself grow
7. --- mercy and forgiveness. (important)
be humble. forgive those who have hurt you and ask forgiveness from those you have hurt.
8. tithing (look for my post in the tithing thread, kung naroon pa)

****

prosperity courses are really expensive but its worth every penny imho. late 90s mura na ang 12k. it can go up to 20+.

I agree bro Akthung!

Money is energy so it can be attracted to you or repelled from you, Its all about mindset nga.

Much Blessings!  :)

Thank you Akthung  :)

Yes, i've read your post about tithing in the tithing thread. I'm also reading books authored by Catherine Ponder I've just finished "Open your mind to receive"

I'm actually trying my best to follow the advice on that book. I'm also reading the book HDMY of MDP.

Actually my problem is not on the financial side since I think that God has Given me everything I need financially especially now that I'm trying lo live a minimalist life  but my problems deal more on fulfillment, feeling empty and other emotional problems.

Let me share na rin:

Since I started the above spiritual practice it seems that everything was falling into place. It seems that the Universe was conspiring in order for me to get what I wanted. Then suddenly I was not able to get what I was asking and praying for which could have made a big difference in my career and would probably also led me to something which has remain elusive to me for too long. Then I began to question if I did something wrong with my spiritual practice. I also questioned whether I'm still on the proper path.  I also  began to envy those who were able to get what I wanted. That's why your post was so timely for making me realize that what I'm doing is affecting my chakras. So now instead of dwelling in this negativity i'll follow your advice to bless the person whom I feel envious and thank God for blessing them.

Hi Sis,

yes. Catherine Ponder was, and is still in some ways still a favorite. her style is a small part of the prosperity course that i keep referring to -- the style of decreeing, declaring and affirming.

kumbaga sa banko, they are withdrawals.

you can't withdraw what you don't have and it isn't sound to keep on withdrawing without replenishing your "savings".

re: "financial"

prosperity is not only about having money. it is about over all happiness.

-financial prosperity
-material prosperity (some have money but couldn't invest. some have so much material but aren't liquid
-relationship prosperity (personal and family)
-career prosperity
-good health
-knowledge, wisdom

and so on....

so when i refer to prosperity, it doesnt mean im referring to financial alone.

on the other hand,

the deeper you go into the path, the more you will be tested, past karmas will come out. most of the time you don't know how heavy the test will be and you have to be ready. marami na akong nakitang mga multi-millionaire na nayayanig sa trials. yun lang masasabi ko sis. being tested is no walk in the park. even masters nayayanig din sila.

so important talaga yan, not only for the trials of this life but in your next life as well....and the ones after that.

^^

Let me share na rin:

.........

I feel envious and thank God for blessing them.

well, falling into place maybe because napadpad ka sa path mo . its like being accepted into a university that you have been dreaming since grade school.

sarap maging freshman right? then soon the challenges come.

Then suddenly I was not able to get what I was asking and praying for which could have made a big difference in my career and would probably also led me to something which has remain elusive to me for too long.

God works in mysterious ways talaga. i know its painful but Siya lang nakakaalam. ang mahalaga ginawa natin lahat (our part). maybe it is not meant for you or something better will come.

one part of the prosperity course is the maximization of prayers...prayers are actually thought forms. so how to create strong thought forms.

re: catherine ponder part 2.

you have to synthesize the teachings of Catherine Ponder.

pansinin mo sis,

did she tell how to tithe?  advanced tithing principles? ilan percent ba dapat? (though she answered this somewhere, and there are more advanced principles)

ano ang hierarchy ng giving? sino dapat unahin? how do you give properly?

how do you decree? how do you affirm? how do you make your own affirmations?

there's so much more.

I agree bro Akthung!

one of my old teachers would ask us to feel our basic chakra.

tipong:

stand up. feel your basic chakra. how big is it? how strong?

now pretend to be envious of someone.

feel your basic chakra.

lumiliit.

so you have to feel the chakras before and after a thought, feeling or deed.

example 2.

before tithing, feel your chakras. specially the basic chakra.

then after tithing feel it.
