Rice Cooker Yema Cake

Ingredients:

500g any brand hot cake
1 whole butter
1 whole cheese
1 can condensed milk

follow the usual hot cake procedure

grease rice cooker with butter before pouring the hot cake mix

then rice cook unlit the hotcake mix is done. use toothpick to check if its cooked.when the cake is almost done, in a heat pan put butter condense and half grated cheese and stir continously unlit sticky...

slice the cake in half and pour or put the yema filling and spread. make sure that the filling is well spread right away because it dries fast then spread the rest of the yema filling on top then grate the rest of the cheese on top...

newbie :)

I'm new in cooking and I really want to prepare meals for my boyfriend since I'm still unemployed. :)

my kuya's version of vegetable omelet

ingredients:

2    slightly beaten eggs (seasoned with magic sarap/salt)
1    small/medium size carrot (thin strips)
1 ~ 2 cloves of garlic. minced
1 medium size of sliced onion

cracked pepper corn
rock salt
oil / butter (mga 2 tsp siguro ok na)

Procedure:

1. saute minced garlic and sliced onion using oil/butter (ginawa ko konting oil tapos with star margarine)
2. Add carrots, salt, pepper, then magic sarap (konti lang, pampalasa)
Set aside.

4. (low heat) heat pan (no oil, kahit yung ginamit nalang sa pagluto nung veggies)
5. lagay yung seasoned.beaten eggs (wag lahat) tapos ikalat (so para na syang wrapper)  ;D
6. patong yung cooked veggies

serve with rice :) ;)

I downloaded this pinoy foods recipe app in google play. may four cheese penne recipe. eh since mahal yung mga cheese (parmesan, cheddar, mozarella and quick melt), pwede kaya pumili lang ako ng 2 types of cheese... say cheddar and quick melt. may nagtry na ba na GTalkers dito?

here's mine..

Shrimp Siomai Soup

Well this one is very easy to cook especially if you are in a hurry.

Ingredients:
Onion (chopped)
Garlic (chopped)
Siomai (ready made)
knorr cubes shrimp
onion spring (chopped)
egg
Misua

Directions:

Saute garlic, onion and knorr cubes shrimp. Add water and ready made siomai then bring to a boil.

Add egg and misua then let this simmer for 5-10 mins. Once egg is cooked, add the onion spring and let it simmer until cooked.

Easy right? try this... my in-laws love this food.  ;)

Recipe from my grandmother...

Pork Tocino without saltpeter (salitre) and food coloring
Pork (Lean, porkchop, liempo any parts will do depends on your preference)
Rock Salt (iodized salt tends to be more saltier, used this if you are familiar enough using it)
Sugar (use white or raw sugar. brown sugar can make the meat much darker while frying)
Beer (san mig)

1. after washing the pork, pat dry it and remove the excess water as much as possible
2. mix salt and sugar (1:1). (taste it as if "nag-aagaw yung alat at tamis" but if you prefer it to be sweeter just add more sugar)
3. roll or dip the pork in the salt-sugar mixture, just thinly cover all the meat surface and place it to a marinating container
4. add the beer and make sure the meat is submerged enough.
5. marinate it overnight (but for best result marinate it for 3 days) inside refrigerator before frying
6. best served with vinegar and garlic dipping sauce

Note:
- If you want a tender meat you can add pineapple juice or pound the meat (we don't do this as we don't want it as too soft as store bought tocino)
- If it smell too sour, it means it is over marinated. Just boiled it in enough water, after around 5 minutes boiling discard the water and fry the meat, if it will make the pork less sweeter, just add sugar before frying.
- If needed to store it longer, after 3 days, remove the liquid and pack it in serving/cooking size and put it in the freezer. Thaw only as much as you need at one time.

Share ko lang...super easy meatloaf..or pacham meatloaf..kakagawa ko lang the other day.

Ingredients:
ground pork about 3/4 kilo
gound beef about a kilo
4 chicken cubes
1 bell pepper - minced
1 medium size onion-minced
2 eggs
1 bun soak in enough milk

Mix all the ingredients, bake in 200C for about 1 1/2 hour or less.
Nakagawa ako ng dalawang meatloaf, size is 9"x5", thickness nya is mga 2inches. After cooling, hiniwa ko sya into 4, tapos I wrapped sa cling wrap individually then nilagay ko sa freezer yung iba.
