Kaya hindi ako makapunta sa mga malls na ang parking area nial ay yung paikot na paakyat...
Natatagalan kasi akong magtimpla ng clutch at gas kaya ayun...

Guytalker here just less post..Sis medyo mahirap sa ganito pero I will my best to explain how you will do it and it would be better if this can be done in actual demo.

It looks like you're driving a manual transmission, what you should do is not to fully release the clutch and when when you do should be halfway only even and you don't necessarily apply the brakes and that can be done and by doing this is just a matter of practice as well as experience.

Pag paakyat ka and when you stop, then apply brakes and hold on to your clutch and slowly release the clutch half through so your engine won't stop and your car will slowly move forward (take note that your gear should be in the first gear, you can't that on 2nd or 3rd) plus applying a little bit in the  accelerator pedal. This can be done and you can try this even in flat surface road condition. I tell you  it's just a matter of practice at kahit na hindi sa paakayat mo yan gawin just to allow yourself familiarize how the clutch works.

Tandaan mo at try mo rin to feel the clutch by slowly releasing and you will notice the car will move forward even if you don't apply the accelerator (of course your gear should be engage in the first gear). You should always start on a first gear after having your car stop.

nakakakaba nga, lalo na kapag naabutan ng stop, tapos ang tirik pa pataas, umaatras talaga ako, hazzard light na nga lang, sabi ng friend ko, hayaan mo na lang, mag-oovertake naman yang mga yan, kapag hindi ka pa moving, LOL...
mahirap nga lang magtimpla, ayun, practice practice, kaso weekends ko lang nagagawa, hehe

I will try this technique once okay na ang weather... mahirap mag-practice pag maulan....

Explain ko lang din nang nangyayari sa kin para you'll get a picture on how I do it.
So let's say sa bridge, naabutan ng traffic, handbreak ako agad and neutral, then pag mag-go-go na, clutch and gas na ako then release handbreak... kaso minsan umaatras pa din talaga kaya need ko tapakan uli yun break... and ayun hanggang dun na lang ako. stuck na ako agad... Mag-hazard na lang ako, medyo dyahe at hassle sa mga kasunod ko. Minsan naso-sobrahan ang apak ko sa gas kaya harurot paabante...

^ I can so relate, haha, minsan natutuwa ako kapag hindi na ako umaatras, pero one time, sa parking ang laki ng inatras ako, hanging kasi yung exit, buti wala akong kasunod, pero lagi akong naka-hazzard kapag aabutan ako ng stop sa uphill, hahaha

nasagot ko na to before on another thread. paste ko na lang:

what i do before is this: i make sure na hindi tututok yun nasa likod ko lalo na kung traffic - when i see them approaching, maghahazzard na ako tapos since nakastop ako kunwari paatras atras ako ng konti-konti. di na yun tututok. 100% effective. wala pang tumutok sa kin when i do this.

murahin nila ko for all i care. e sa hindi ko matimpla e di umurong sila para di madisgrasya. at least i warned them. usually kasi ang fear ng newbies e mapagalitan or mapagtawanan. when you feel nervous and you can't drive na as in your feet are shaking, stop. hayaan mo sila bumusina sa likod. 

kapag di ko talaga matimpla at nakahang. i use the handbrakes. it takes a little getting used to but you use whatever you can. mahirap magtimpla ng manual lalo na kung gas engine. easier sa diesel. hilahin ang handbrakes saka magtimpla. kapag natimpla na, slowly release the handbrakes and go...

this is what i did nun namatayan ako sa P4 parking ng shangrila. if you've parked there, you wouldn't want to have a dead engine in the middle. super inclined talaga sya at super curved. kung newbie driver, please wag muna itry magpark there. unless automatic drive ka.

the car behind me immediately backed up when it realized what was happening to me. and what's really funny is that i was laughing so hard - nawala ang nerbyos ko sa kakatawa dahil ninenerbyos yung kasama ko... he actually wanted to get out of the car and push it up. as if!

Kaya kasi umaatras ang car mo kahit naka clutch ka at accelerator ay dahil hindi balance ang dalawang pedal (clutch and accelerator). Kung gaano ang press mo sa pedal ng clutch ay ganon din dapat ang press mo sa accelearator para balanse ang dalawa, pag ganyan hindi tatakbo ang car mo at naka idle lang siya, then pag unti unti unti mo release ang clutch kahit di ka naka press sa accelerator ay kusang aabante ang car. Try mo ang technique na yan and you will see how you will over how to balance clutch and accelerator and you will be able to mix the two properly.

mga sis, how about kung AT transmission, madali lang ba to drive in an inclined road? how about kung may dadaanang mountainous terrain/highway? We're going to Bicol after the summer and merong mountainous zigzag sa Quezon. Di pa kami bumibili ng AT, around Mid May pa and were set to get an AT. Haven't driven an AT before.

^i haven't tried pero ang alam ko mas madali ang AT. kasi brake and gas lang ang pedal. di na kailangan timplahin.

Dito din ako sobrang kabado, syempre tama ayoko din talaga pagtawanan at sigawan ng ibang drivers. One time, nasa intersection kami and inclined talaga sobrang newbie driver ko pa ayung pag green light, di ko na mabitawan yun brake sa takot kong umatras eh yung nasa likod ko sobrang bagong Civic, ayun wala na, para nakong natulalang ewan hahah hazzard na lang ako then baba si hubby siya na ulit nagdrive. Mga 30minutes ata akong walang imik sa sasakyan sa sobrang kaba ko LOL

mga sis, how about kung AT transmission, madali lang ba to drive in an inclined road? how about kung may dadaanang mountainous terrain/highway? We're going to Bicol after the summer and merong mountainous zigzag sa Quezon. Di pa kami bumibili ng AT, around Mid May pa and were set to get an AT. Haven't driven an AT before.

Driving an a/t uphill or downhill isn't as easy as it looks, it involves downshifting also, that's why there is an L, 1 or 2 on your a/t. Also be guided as one gear like L has an allowable speed limit or rpm, don't over rev your engine as this may cause severe transmission failure.

IRash you should not be driving if you aren't confident enough to drive in elevated places. I have matic and manual, what i do is i manage to gradually release the breaks, then clutch and first gear titimpla ko so that hnd ako aatras. Your best bet is matic sana, hnd talaga umaatras. Basta the trick is not to fully release the breaks and full gas.

mukhang naka M/T ka sis.. sa timplada ng cluth at gas iyan. maganda yun kung na istak ka, use the hand brake.

so parang ganito..

hand brake + full clutch + konting gas.. mag bu broom broom ka lang neto.. then release hand brake > while applying gas slowly release ang clutch

pansin mo walang brake yan.. hand brake lang. pag medyo gamay mo na, no need to use hand brake. parang hanging ba, babad sa clutch at gas

so ni try ko ang best ko mag explain! lol
