Hi mga sis! Might anyone know what is a good school for web design/graphic design/Photoshop classes or courses? Just short courses or seminar-type, not full-time college courses. Thanks in advance!

Marami pang school na diploma course lang.

Honestly mas gusto ko pa mga certificate courses kasi ang pakiramdam mo tinutulungan ka ng instructor mo tapos ginagalang ka pa. Kapag degree course kasi minsan may ibang professor na malakas magpowertrip to students eh! But of course depende pa rin.

Sa lahat ng avenues ng Design tingin ko mas lenient ang having 'an eye for design' sa web. Although siyempre maganda pa din na meron kang artistic side, pero more on balancing theories kasi for web design since mas may purpose dapat every detail. Like what colors ang masakit sa mata pagsamahin, okay ba yun navigation for users.

I think Skillshare meron Photoshop, Illustrator na inooffer eh. PCCI din. And CSB, they offer short courses for Graphic Design, Web, Animation etc.

pa-join mga sis. also looking for short courses on web and graphic design. sana meron yung mga 3-6 months courses na may weekend classes. my brother studied in csb and i asked him about the diploma courses. unfortunately, sabi nya, may classes daw on weekdays. so malabo na for me yun, as I also have a regular job.

sis, i took up a 3-day desktop publishing class (includes photoshop) at negoskwela. if you're living in QC, along north ave, near veterans and agham road. mura lang yung fees, kaya lang basic photoshop lang din ang itinuro. you still need to do some exploring on your free time.

when i took the desktop publishing course, kasama talaga yung corel. but the focus was more on photoshop. more on logo designing kasi ang corel.

a bit OT: how about kaya sa web development side like coding? i really want to learn how to code kasi nung nasa States ako early this year is yun ang in, "how to code?" and meron pa ngang Hollywood celeb na nag aral din. I don't have a talent kasi na "artistic" like designing things.

If you want to learn how to code, you can try codecademy.com, coursera, MIT or udacity. These are all for FREE!

If you want to improve your skills, try UDEMY. good site to learn free tutorials for Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Wordpress and a lot more! although some courses has fee.

They are called MOOC. try to search different platform of MOOCs and I guarantee you'll enjoy learning!

Try mo sis Udemy. There are videos intended for beginners. just choose Programming in the options para makita mo kung anung language ang Free at pwede mong iview.
