Summer of 2012 I went to Cam Sur, it was my first time flying alone, tapos wala pa ako katabi, mejo kabado pa because it was my 3rd of 4th time pa lang on a plane. Wala ako madaldal so I just read the magazine that they had on the plane.

I was 14 yo when i had to travel alone. A flight attendant was supposed to assist me but after the plane landed, she was the first one to leave lol! I didnt ask anyone for help, i followed all written directions lang, i read the signs, where to get my luggage etc. That was from Manila to San Francisco ha. My dad was pissed cause he specificAlly asked the airline about assisting minors. It wasnt so bad. I had a blue passport so no questions asked na, they just welcomed me back home.

Hi everyone. It has been a month since I last checked this.. Anyways I had a great time flying by myself well except for the time that most of the passengers were hold at immigration area in the US because their system was down. But overall everything was great. Thanks to everyone who shared their experience. Maraming salamat ng sobra..

Anyone here who traveled alone to Australia? Medyo worried ako sa laptop and HDD ko. Sa carry on baggage, ok lang ba na meron akong laptop bag, dslr, at isa pang baggage? Thanks.

^Yes ok lang na may dala kang laptop, HDD, and dslr plus your own personal bag. As long as your carry on baggage is within the weight limit

Anyone availed of complimentary transit hotel?

Paano ba ang procedure kapag long haul? yung may connecting flight under the same airline? pag dating mo sa conneting port proceed to transfer desk ba?

^ usually pag same airline, checked-through ka na, meaning one check-in lang, which is sa initial departure airport -- then checked in ka na both legs of your flight, sila na bahala magtransfer/forward ng luggage mo, and boarding passes for both flights e ibibigay na sa yo. Pag ganun, when you get to the transit airport, you just need to alight from the plane and go to the boarding gate of your connecting flight. When you arrive at your final destination, dun mo na makukuha yung luggage mo.

19Hours yung layover ko sis eh. Di pa nagrereply yung airline pero eligible ata ako sa complimentary transit hotel.

It doesn't state who is eligible for a complimentary transit hotel.

Pag more than 8hours daw yung layover may complimentary hotel accommodation. Prinocess na nila, just waiting for the confirmation. Hotel outside the airport daw sis. Nabasa ko rin sa ibang site.

My POE is JFK. Is it true that you have to take a tram to transfer to JFK's domestic gates?
