If you plan to do direct feeding, you dont have to buy plenty of newborn bottles (4oz) or even 9oz if you want to do direct feeding for as long as you can. I would recommend maybe just 1 box (set of 3) para sa water and when you need to go out to do some errands. The starter sets would be very useful, too bec it also comes with other necessities, like brush and milk dispenser/snack cup.

I also breastfed my daughter but since I am a working mom, I needed bottles to last her entire feeding the whole day para once a day ang pag sterilize so I remember getting 6-8 na 4oz and and ganun din for 9oz bottles. When she would consume more than 4oz, I used them for her water.

When I weaned her at 2yo, I sold all her Avent bottles para siguradong wala ng atrasan

For my daughter, sa milk, until about 2-3 months. Kasi she would consume 4 oz na at that time.

mommies need advice here first time mom to be ok lang ba yung avent starter kit? contains 2 bots 4oz, 2 bots 9oz, brush, pacifier, 2 nipples and milk storage. worth it bang bilhin? thanks in advance.

^Ako nag avail na ako ng starter kit which is Fisher Price naman ang brand. I don't know lang if you are referring to the starter kit or the brand itself as Avent that is worth to buy pero kung starter kit lang ang usapan as you mentioned na may 2 nipples and milk storage I am positive enough to say na it is really worth. Though the price is up to you kung namamahalan ka or not an issue at all. Yung akin nga walang nipples and storage though I can still say na worth naman for the P999.75


Who is using MIMIJUMI feeding bottle here? Yung complement to breast feeding?
I am wondering if this is safe for bottle warming? Nakita ko kasi na yung ibaba niya it has red rubber in which I am thinking otherwise if safe naman itong initin lalo na I have bottle warmer of Baby Looney Tunes.

^ sis, tommee tippee also has a starter kit, same sa avent na 2 small bottles and 2 big ones. Di ko napansin if may brush and paci din coz im planning to buy "a la carte" hehe. Meron tommee tippee na 3 9oz bottles for P999. I like it coz the nipples are already for newborn. Buy na lang daw ng ibang nipples pag mejo lumaki na si baby. And im planning to breastfeed din so i dont know yet how much bottles im gonna need or if baby will like what i chose for him. So [textspeak!] buy a few lang til the baby has tried it na.

^Okay na yun pero I advised na focus muna sa iisa to avoid bottle confusion sayang kung hindi niya magagamit yung ibang brand ng bottle. Kasi baby ko na new born ganun na may bottle confusion na. My baby likes Evenflo rather than fisher price. Medyo ilang sa fisher price tapos sa mimijumi hirap siya mag sip.

Thank you sis, Nakabili ako ng avent honey tint bottles nung weekend. Nasa 2k sya e naka 50% off so 1k na lang for 1 bottles. eto ata yung mas magandang klase yung material nung bottle nila e.

@mommywifey, maliit ang neck ng medela bottle. That's my baby's favorite bottle when she was tiny (newborn to about 2 months). Less nipple confusion if you're doing mixed.

Sis did you use calma nipples pa? I have kasi medela bottles libre sa pump and may free na 1 nipple but i dont think its calma.

^^ sis, if you got your Medela pump just recently, Calma teat na ang kasama sa set. Got mine around April.

Also re Calma teat, buti na lang di ako natuloy to buy an extra one kasi di talaga masyado gusto ni baby. She prefers Avent (i have Classic and Natural) so yun na lang pinapagamit ko when yaya feeds her my expressed breastmilk. Di naman ako nagka-problem sa latch nya pag nagdi-direct feeding kami.

Kaka try namin ng kung anong best bottle for baby, ayan ang dami ko ng bottles na naka stock nalang, slightly used and some hindi talaga nagamit.. Ganun siguro talaga kapag first time mom haha..

I don't know if this is allowed here pero mommies, if ever na interested kayo bilhin yung mga bottles ni baby ko just PM me.. Sayang kasi nakatago lang.

Anyone using Playtex Nurser with Drop-Ins liners? A friend gifted me one kasi maganda daw na anti-colic bottle. It says the liner works with common breastpumps like Medela, Avent etc. but I'm not sure kung for storing breastmilk ba. Parang wala naman kasing seal yun liners. Need advice before I invest in the liner refills (50 for P300).
