Hello! 7mos preggy here and rookie mom-to-be  just backread the whole thread 4! Grabe nakakalito which feeding bottle brand to get. We're considering the new avent natural or pigeon from recos here. Originally gusto ko sana dr. Browns, kaso bka too fiddly yung extra parts..

Some questions mga sis:

For those who are using avent or pigeon, pano pag d type ni baby yung nipple/teat, is it easy to search for other teat brands na compatible?

Also, sa mga nakatry ng Tommy Tippee: matibay ba ito like avent n dr. Browns? Less nipple confusion ba talaga pag ito for mixed feeding. I'm hoping na makabreastfeed din kasi ako.

^ I'm using po Pigeon wide neck bottles with peristaltic nipples. Good po for mixed feeding

Based on my Baby's experience po, meron siya Pigeon and First Years feeding bottles. Ginamit ko yun ng sabay dati, okay naman kahit alternate. Tapos almost a month ko hindi pinagamit yung First Years sakaniya. Nung pinatry ko ulit, ayaw na niya kahit gutom na gutom na siya. Nasanay na po siya sa Pigeon nipple

sorry sis but not true to us. my daughter used only avent, she drinks fine but eventually would stop and ayaw nya na. we thought it might be the teat so we changed to wide-neck peristaltic nipple by Pigeon. It was better. so eventually naka avent bottle kami with pigeon teat. worked fine naman.

so i guess these little ones in their early age have preference na din

my mom naman said kasi na iba iba daw preference ng babies sa teat, so hanap daw ng bottle na pwede ibang nipple na compatible. i'm really clueless at this point. i'm thinking lang, baka pag ibang nipple ang ilalagay baka mag-leak or magkaroon ng ibang issues.

matibay naman yung pigeon bottles? tama ba, same price range lang sila halos ng avent?

^ yes okay ang pigeon. its been there for years and years.

start from your desired brand and observe. if wala namang kaso si baby, continue lang pero pag may issue na especially affected pag milk we have to play around din until makuha ang para talaga sa kanya. there are babies kasi na pwede kahit ano and meron ding ibang may hinahanap siguro.

or yung samen siguro kung di kami sensitive, hinayaan lang kahit ayaw nya, i think magsusurvive lang naman ang bata pero affected kasi pag milk e so mommy has to do something about it

Mga sis, consider nyo rin kung anong material ang ginamit sa feeding bottles. Di ba nabalita before na kahit nakalagay na BPA free, kung gawa naman sa polycarbonate e nagkakaBPA pa rin dahil sa paulit-ulit na pag-sterilize. 
Iwasan nyo rin yung mabilis matanggal ang design or logo.

mga sis, i have a question fit ba yun natural feeding nipples sa classic avent bottles? kasi nagpabili ako sa friend ko sa US, kaya lang ang nabili nya is un Avent Classic Bottles and not the Avent Natural Feeding bottles 2012 edition

^meron na sis. sa sm yung 2-pack na 9oz is P999 ata saw it din sa landmark, d ko lang maalala price.

Im a firs time mother too. Sinubukan ko farlin kay baby ( kase mura lang ). Good thing he used it.

we've used avent bottles ever since...
but sabi kasi ni hubby iba pa rin pag hindi plastic - mas safe
daw yun glass bottles.

anyone here who knows where to buy glass feeding bottles?

^Sa SM ako nakakita ng Pigeon Glass Bottles. 
Sa online, yung Avent Natural at Dr. Brown's glass bottles.

^ Meron din sa SM nung Dr. Brown's na bottles, nakita ko last time. Tingin ko maganda din yung Avent Honey Tint

i wanted glass bottles din sana but my mom was hesitant to use it kasi daw baka accidentaly mo mabitawan derecho sa face ng bata, medyo mabigat nga naman especially sa new born. minsan di kasi maiiwasan mga ganyan so pra controlled, we used the regular bottles na lang.

^ Ginagawa pa naman ng Babies, after mag milk ihahagis yung bottle. Haha!
