What pills are you using? [Thread 3]

Sisses, please enlighten me... 

Today is my last pill day of Diane 35 (2nd pack na).
I just had a check up with my OB and I had breast check.
She advised na wag muna daw akong magpills and magpa breast ultrasound daw ako next week.

When I asked her kung hanggang kelan ang safe day ko to have sex without protection (and not getting pregnant), sabi nya hanggang magka mens ako, safe daw.  All along, ang akala ko when you're taking pills (Diane 35 in particular), fertile/ovulation period ang 4th week (right after ng last pill which is 21st) so mataas ang chance na mabuntis.

Nag-research naman ako kanina, may nabasa ako na as long as regular ang take ng pills, safe na sya all throughout the month specially kung nasa 3rd month ++ ka na ng pagtake ng pills.

Nalilito na ko... huhuhuhuhu.....   Please help...

^ I think mali yung Doctor mo. I took Sex Educ sa States and I had a OB Gyne din dun. Basically once naka-miss ka ng isa pill - tuma-taas yung risk mo for pregnancy. So pag mas madami kang na-miss, higher chances of pregnancy. So kung hinde consistent yung pagtake mo ng pill everyday - need mo gumagamit ng another birth control method.

^Hi Sis, I never missed a pill during ng 2 months ng pagtake ko.
Last Tuesday, last pill (21st)  ng 2nd pack ko and nasa waiting period na ko.
I am supposed to have my period in the next 4-5 days.

My question to her was "hanggang kelan akong safe to have sex?".  And sabi nga nya until magka mens daw ako kasi hindi naman daw ako mag-o-ovulate.

kaso nagka abdominal pain ako pag umiinom ako ng pills na yun
grabe rin yung effect naging emotional ako at minsan nagiging magagalitin rin ..
may feeling pa na para kang nasusuka ..ayun diko na sya inubos may natira pa kong apat na pills

hi! kakabalik lang ng period ko, when my son turned 18 months (27 months akong walang period wooot!) kaya almost 2 months pa lang ako me period ulit. the very first day i took Exluton na. so that was sept 26-oct1 ang first period ko. then nag bleed ako ng oct 10-12 super light lang. then nag karon ako uli ng bleeding oct 28-30, pero super light lang din. i just finished another "period" nov 8-11 (heavy nito parang yung first period ko). ang tanong papano ko malalaman anong cycle ko? twice ba talaga ako magkakaperiod palagi? looks like every 2nd week and last week of the month me period ako. ang gulo ng period. di ko maintindihan.

hi mga sis! question lang.. i've been using Qlaira for almost a year na. lately, napapansin ko (and even ng mga tao sa paligid ko like my family and my guy) na i'm becoming emotional (i.e. super sensitive, maramdamin, matampuhin). by nature naman, hindi ako emotional.

i'm just wondering kung possible ba na nagiging side effect na ng prolonged use (if there is such a thing as prolonged use) ng Qlaira yung changes sa emotional stability ko? ok naman yung Qlaira nung simula, no headaches, di naman nakakataba.. just recently lang (over the past 2-3 months), napapansin ko lang na i'm becoming emotional... sana may makapag-share ng insights. TIA sa replies mga sis!

After 3 packa of exluton i shifted na to daphne, paano kasi  tinadtad talaga ako ng pimples, grabe yung scars ko tuloy. Now di na ako mashado pinipimple. Perang every 10 days me period ako?

Mga sis, help please. Madami nagsabi sa akin na OK lang daw not to take pills regularly kasi my husband works overseas. Kaso sabi ni OB dapat continuous daw regardless if I have regular contact with husband or not. Ano ba talaga yung totoo?

Normally yung mga kaopisina kong OFW yung mga asawa ang ginagawa nila 3 months before umuwi asawa nila saka sila inom ng pills not the entire year. You can ask your OB if pwede ganon na lang so you dont have to take it the whole year.

anyone here experienced getting red itchy patches of pimple like bumps sa face?
hindi ako ma pimples na tao to begin with.

Same here. Althea user here. Naka-one year nako then this January stop muna ako sa pills. Alternative condom muna. Wala naman ako probs sa pill kaso napansin ko na ang dami kong ugat...may varicose(reddish) and green blue na vein nakaumbok. hiya na ako magshorts. Possible pills ang cause saka kakabuhat kay baby. Mabigat.

Sis, alam ko kung wala kang contact for more than 3 months you can stop. Nabasa ko sa leaflet ng pills ko. Resume mo nalang kapag malapit na dumating si hubby.

Sis, sabi ni OB continuous daw dapat. Magugulo daw kasi yung period once I stop taking pills regularly. Kaya nagulat ako nung sabi ng ibang friends ko na sila daw they take pills one month prior to their husband's arrival.

Anyway, thanks sis. Hanap na lang ako iba OB. Lumipat lang kasi ako OB nung lumipat kami house so hindi talaga sya yug OB na nagpaanak sa akin.

BTW, back to topic, I took Cybelle pills. OK naman. No headaches. No weight gain/increased appetite. No side effects when I took it regularly.

mga sisses, pa join ulit, dati po ako lady pill user, akala ko wala side effect mga sis. August last year, nagstop ako. Alam nyo po ba effect nung nag-stop ako, naging chubby ako, meaning, kaya hindi ako tumataba dati is because of the lady pills! Nagtataka nga ako, same habit, same dami food, pero anlaki ng tinaba ko nung mag stop ako nun. Andami mga sisses dito, isa sa complain nakakataba daw ang pills,isa din yan sa reasons kung bakit nag pills ako pero since wala effect, nag stop ako. I've also tried using calendar method, nakatulong ng malaki ang downloadable app sa playstore.Now I'm trying to conceive, and sana matulungan din ako ng play store app ko =)

Using Dianne 35, ok sya kase medyo lumaki boobs ko at hindi na oily ang skin ko. 3mos ko palang sya gamit. Pero mejo takot ako kase parang di ako sanay, sa utak ko hindi sya safe. Ahaha

^ sis, buti hindi ka nagkaroon ng headache or migraine spells sa dianne. dati kasi nag try ako ng dianne 35. several minutes after taking the pill, bigla ako inatake ng migraine (even if gabi ako nag-take ahh). i had to switch pills kasi di hiyang sa akin ang dianne.

^ di naman ako naka-experience ng migraine na araw araw. Pero once naramdaman ko yun. After switching from Althea to Dianne 35, on my 2nd day after ko sya i-take, sumakit ulo ko at nasusuka ako. Di ako makatulog kase kahit nakahiga ako nasusuka ako. Need pa ako injectionan ng pangontra sa pagsusuka just to stop it. One day lang yun, after nun wala na. Hiyangan nga talaga.

Gusto ko nga sana yung yasmin ba yun, yung may pampapayat na effect ba yun saka whitening. kaya lang yung kawork ko todo migraine daw araw araw, ayoko naman ng ganun at baka masayang lang ang pera ko. Sa dianne nga lang namamahalan na ako e.

Na-miss ko mag injectables kapag nagkakaron ako ng menstruation. Haha. Kaya lang tumaba ako dun at lumaki pa tummy ko. Huhu.

Been Althe for a month lang nag switch ako ng ibang pill which is Micropill low dose daw. It was also recommended by my OB, it was Micro pill Plus talaga but walang available sa South Star. Side effects ng Althea last month was - migraine nung 3rd day ng free pill ko as in whole day ah, tolerable naman. Then nung mga 2 weeks ko palang siyang ni-take napansin ng pinsan ko bat daw parang namamaga yung braso ko haha so yun na nga yung water retention nilang sinasabi.

So far nag back read ako parang less side effect nga itong Micro pill sana mahiyang na ako dito. I'm taking it same time wtih the Althea at 9pm.
