Just packed the hubby's suitcase for another instant trip to Incheon tonight. Still cold so a jacket is still needed! Be back in MNL on Tuesday. After bingeing on my Kitkat and Royce from Narita last Friday, I am looking forward to my smoked salmon and small kimchi packs from Lottemall again.

Good am. I will be travelling to korea on may 9 to 12. I am going solo because my officemate got pregnant and backed out  i will be staying in namsan 3. Has anyone tried their pAckage tour? They did not provide pricing but they said they will arrange it for me once i check-in. I don't feel confident going to nami island alone baka maligaw ako. HirAp mag trAvel mag isa... Sino na lang kukuha ng pictures ko. Hehe. Another question, do you think it is better to avail of the airport pick-up since i will be arriving at 8pm at incheon airport? Same rate lang kasi regardless of the number of passengers. Hayy, am getting anxities here.  Thank you in advance sa makakapag-suggest.

Dont worry people in namsan 3 are friendly, if you dont have a lot of luggage, you can take the bus

went to national assembly earlier, down to last 3 cherry blossom trees nalang nakita ko nasa floor na halos lahat ng petals nung iba so sad :,(

sabi nung mga ahjussis don "fall....goodbye" with matching hand gesture na parang tigok na

oh no  plan pa namin to go to jinhae tom. kakaland lang namin in busan. ganun pala kabilis magfall.

Hindi nga rin ako makapaniwala na wala na....as in ang dami sa floor sa may harap ng national assembly library....and it was so hard to ask around asking "cherry blossoms" i had to show them them the picture dun lang nila nagets na "aaaah pukkeok" (basta sounds like ganyan yung sinabi nila hehe)

Who has stayed in Zaza Backpackers? How was the experience? I originally planned to stay in Namsan 3 but their rooms are good for at least 2 pax. Sayang naman. Inquired with Zaza and theyr have private room good for one. I read somewhere na hilly sya and no elevator. Thanks for sharing your experience.

^sis try banana backpackers i think they have solo rooms naman...super clean may elevator and 1 tumbling lang from changdeokgung palace

Girls meron pa daw cherry blossoms sa likod ng national assembly building pero nagddry out na, wasn't able to go around the back na kahapon e

^^Zaza and Namsan are both located in the same location. The original Zaza building and Namsan 2,3 and 4 medyo malapit lang and not that far off from the subway station, carry lang ang lakad pataas. Pero yung new Zaza building and Namsan 1 is located pretty high up, though may nakita pa akong ibang guesthouses na mas mataas pa ang location. And both Zaza buildings walang elevator.

If you want cheaper, solo room that is not located in a hilly location, you might want to try a different location. I've stayed in Yim House Hotel before and okay naman siya. Medyo mahirap lang hanapin sa una, pero malapit lang siya sa Anguk Station and may elevator. Malapit siya sa Changdeokgung palace, as in yung kanto kung san located yung guesthouse, halos tapat lang nung palace na yun. Check mo nalang yung suggestions and see kung saan mo mas prefer. Zaza and Namsan are more convenient dahil nasa Myeongdong area siya, pero if you want a quieter location, pero malapit lang din sa mga tourist spots, you might want to try those in the Anguk area.

Went to jeongdok public library in bukchon, meron pa cherry blossoms pero natutuyo na, 1-2 trees nalang yung healthy blossoms pa

May tanong ako guys, ano usually transpo niyo from the airport to your hotel? Do you take a cab or the bus? Iniisip kasi namin na baka mahirap kung bus kapag medyo mabigat baggage.

^airport bus/limo sis. Dati tinulungan naman kami ng driver with our luggages.

Thank you for replying @fornarina and merian. I tried to booked in Banana Backpackers but got a reply this morning that there are no more rooms available. Am sad Read the reviews of the place and they are all positive. Sayang di ko nalaman agad. They have recommended Seoul and Zaza though. My reservation with Zaza has yet to be confirmed. Baka Namsan 3 bagsak ko. I appreciate the fact that Namsan 3 sent me the contact details of the person I should arrange with for the Nami tour.

Let me check out Yim House hotel. Thank you for being so helpful.

hi! i'm new here...korea kami next week. 18 April dating namin...wala na talaga cherry blossoms nun noh? 

also, busan kami hindi incheon..plan sana namin punta gyeonghwa station at yeojwa stream then on the 19th punta seoul para sa yeouido and lotte world...do you girls think ok pa din ang ganung itinerary? or no point na din dahil wala na nga cherry blossoms? hayyy..it's so heartbreaking hehe

^im not sure if may makita ka pa sa jinhae kung wala ng cherry blossoms. Parang maliit na town nalang siya if hindi na festival. So might as well check other places to go to kasi wala ng cherry blossoms that time. But maybe other sissies here could tell us kung maganda pa din punta dun
