Does anyone of you have a Cartier Love Bracelet? I want to buy the plain, gold one, but im actually having a second thought if i would buy it or just spend the money on a designer bag (chanel flap bag)

Any thoughts about this bracelet?

The love bracelet is considered a classic. Unfortunately, madaming replicas dito sa Pinas nyan. If it does not bother you, buy it. Mas okay ang resale value nya than a designer bag.

^ true pero pag naiisip ko, ang nagpamahal lang yung pangalan, pero yung value ng mismong gold is 18k lang... The price of the plain (yellow gold) here in Hong kong is $47,000 (PHP 265,300) while the one with 4 diamonds (equivalent to 1 carat- 0.25 each stone) is $75,000 (PHP 423,300)

i got the limited edition love ring in shanghai, the sa told me last na iyon in production the one with LOVE engraved around the ring. For me if you have the money go for the bracelet don't wait too much kasi oa ang price increase!! but you can also ask your jeweler to [textspeak!] one for you its technically 18k yg and i think 3mm thickness? not sure, but the point being when push comes to shove and you ended up selling yours it will amount to almost the same value coz they weigh your gold naman but i guess if you have the certificate you can haggle for a bit more

^ OT: If one can afford to pay credit card dues without a monthly balance then it doesn't make sense not to use credit cards especially for a big ticket item where one can one can earn points. 

I hope this thread doesn't turn into a financial fitness thread where the focus turns into how one should spend/save their money, replicas etc. instead of  the beauty of authentic Cartier pieces and sharing experiences with Cartier.

My Sweet Trinity bracelet arrived today via Fed Ex.  Shipped Thursday and arrived this morning.

Looks like the LOVE ring starts at $1100 without tax.  Not sure how much it really is in the PH but roughly 50,000 pesos it looks like just from a straightforward conversion.

Out of curiousity, do cartier really produce 24k rings? ('cause afaik they only produce 18k)

18k (which is my personal preference for jewelry) is better than 24k for jewlery so I imagine Cartier would not use 24k for jewlery.

I fell in love naman sa watch nila at duty-free. I remember that when converted, around 208k na yung watch.  I will save for it.
