I saw in TV patrol last night. A 72 (or 71) year old nun was gang raped in India. Shocking talaga and nakakagalit. Kawawa naman mga kababaihan

^ yan yata yung 70-year old nun... as in, nakaka-shock talaga. Di na ginalang ang matanda. And madre pa! Mga hay*p talaga gumawa nun..

Parang ang scary maging babae sa India. Kaya kahit I really want to go there (mainly to see the Taj Mahal) e hubby wouldn't hear any of it. Nung sila nga na lalake, when they went there for a business trip e they were advised not to roam around especially sa gabi. And they were assigned drivers who will bring them to places to be safer daw than just hailing cabs on the road. Kaya yun, hotel-office-hotel lang sila almost the whole week. Twice lang nakapag-mall - 1 for team dinner and another for quick pasalubong shopping.

^yes...yan nga yun... after ko napanood sa TV patrol, nagsearch ako sa net. Plan talaga nung mga salarin is nakawan ang convent pero pinigilan sila nung old nun (siya yung head nun sa convent) and yun nga, ginang-rape nila yung matanda. After that, nagnakaw din sila. sobrang kawawa naman yung nun. may mga protests na rin regarding sa incident. The victim needed surgery after the brutal attack and critical ang condition (as per what I read).

kakatakot nga mga kwentos ng rape sa India. kahit local o foreigner, walang sinasanto. very scary for women...

Ever since naman India was in my not-to-go-to list. They have no respect for women. Hindi yan recent lang pero not all are reported.

i read the news article in CNN and kawawa naman yong nun buti she is still alive.

when I went to India 2 yrs ago, hubby and my parents were so insistent on not allowing me to go. I raised it to my boss and she talked to the Project manager there. kaya ako, nong time na andon ako for 2 weeks, hotel - office lang ako, plus one of my team members will accompany me to the lobby when the taxi is already waiting for me. and they all insist that i text them if i arrived at home. too much security pero it paid off. over the weekend, don lang ko sa hotel sa takot ko. this considering na nasa place ako na safe pa rin acdg. to the locals (Chennai).

I was just talking to my colleague from India and told her of this. Rampant na daw kasi don ang grotesque na rape. ok nga daw sana kung simpleng rape lang pero sobrang grotesque pa minsan ginagawa daw. like 3 mo. old baby na narape tapos nag-insert pa raw ng metal rod don sa private parts. hay.

^aw grabe naman yan sis! Ang di ko malimutan na balita nun, after rape-in yung girl e binigti pa! Grabe talamak talaga ang rape cases sa india. wala silang sinisino kahit gano kabata o katanda hindi pinapalagpas! Tsk tsk bakit ganun sila. Natakot naman ako para sa friend ko na papuntang india dahil jan siya inassign ng company, guy naman sya. Pati ba lalake nirerape sa india?

Tsaka nabasa ko yung sinabi daw nung isang suspect dun sa India bus gang rape (yung mag-bf/gf yata yun) - kasalanan daw nung babae bakit sya namatay. Dapat daw kasi habang nire-rape e hindi nanlalaban. Hayaan lang daw dapat yung nangri-rape! Sickkkkk!!!! Grabe talaga... twisted mind!!!

May nabasa rin akong ganyan... Ininterview yung isa sa mga accused. No remorse talaga yung guy. Sabi din niya kasalanan daw nung girl kaya siya na-rape because she was out at night at 9PM. grabe nga ang mentality... No accountabuility of the crime done tapos yung victim pa ang sinisisi...

^ah buti naman sis kung ganun hehe, baka kasi sa sobrang addict nila mangrape pati lalake binibiktima na din nila. Naku sis yang ISIS na yan grabe lang talaga, wala silang value sa buhay ng mga tao e tao din naman sila. Ano ba pinaglalaban nila at gusto nila mangyari para gawin ang mga bagay na ganyan.

When my husband had a business trip in India, mostly boys sila. Pero di pa din sila pinayagan ng company to explore on their own. No choice lang sila but to go there kasi andun yung most support teams nila (BPO for their company).

grabe pala sa India no? I've had business trip din don last 2010 yata or 2011 siguro safer pa at that time? Nagtaxi ako from airport to hotel kasi hindi ko makita yung sundo ko. Gabi yata yon or madaling araw? Basta, I was scared pero feeling ko safe naman or I was just naive. And nag malling din ako at lumabas labas din ng hotel pero thank God, nothing happened naman. Those were in New Delhi, Gurgaon and Chennai.

Siguro few years ago medyo safe pa. Kasi my girl kabarkada was assigned (an Engr) for 6 mos in India and she was safe naman. Pero yun nga, group daw sila if lalabas.

Husband ko went to Chennai and Delhi din, business trips. Gusto ko nga sana sumama para Taj Mahal kami ng weekend pero ayaw talaga pumayag..
