I was able to book too during CEBUPAC Valentines Promo and just the recently ended 399+ for local destinations. So glad kahit di piso sale, mura pa rin.

^no, any kind of umbrellas are not allowed... swerte nalang pag naka lusot

The following articles are not allowed to be carried in the cabin. These items must be put in the checked-in baggage :
   • nail cutters
   • swiss knives
   • scissors
   • any bladed items or sharp objects
   • umbrellas of any type
   • bicycle chains and jacks or other similar items
   • lighters, which contain “butane” as well as matches, are prohibited in both handcarried and checked baggage
   • zippo lighters can be checked in or handcarried as long as it is completely drained of its fluid
   • liquids
   • aerosols
   • gels (LAGs) in 100ml or less are the only ones allowed in handcarried baggage. LAGs must be placed in containers less than 100ml and must be secured in airtight plastic bags as changes in cabin pressure may cause even well sealed items to leak.

^^Hindi din kasi sila consistent. Strictly following their rules bawal talaga any kind of umbrella. So if I were you I would err on the side of caution.

^ That is true RE: consistency. It will mostly depend on the airport that you're travelling from. Some airports na super strict, aside from MNL... Davao, as in grabe, basta galing kami ng DVO, mega pray na ako na hindi na ma confiscate whatever it is na normally nakakalusot sa CEB airport.

On a different note, have you guys seen the new interface when booking flights?
So far kasi, I have been booking quite regularly kaya napansin ko na three columns na siya. I booked something last weekend and di pa ganun, when I checked today, voila.. new look!

^sis parang now lang ata nagbago kasi kahapon nag mock booking pa ako same lang... parang ok naman mas mabilis mag book kesa daming pipiliing alisin kung dimo namn need ng baggage/meals

^ Actually, hindi rin. Di naman nag change ang process. In my case, I booked something today mid-day.. And I still had to manually take out all the amounts for the baggage, for the seat selector, for the insurance and donations... So, I guess, if you're taking the lowest fare.. all the add-ons na naka set by default, you have to still unselect pa isa isa. Sanayan lang.. Ganyan talaga basta budget airline.

hi mga sis, ask ko lang sino sa inyo ang member ng getgo? may points system sila sabi kasi the more you fly with cebupac the more free flights you get. I tried to find info on how many points you need to get free flight for certain destination, but couldn't see in their website/FAQ.

sis althea_ge atleast 500 points to avail then system generated daw yung conversion ng points sa destination. Plan ko na din gamitin yung points ko para sa add-ons akala ko yung mga points earned ko is equal to 1 peso or for every Php 5 = to Php 1

^thank you sis. nasa 2k na kasi points ko try ko sana gamitin para sa baggage pero yung sa redeeming webpage nila di naman nag redirect kung saan dapat. Anyway I've emailed them pero wala pa reply

Hindi ako maka-register. Not available daw sa email ko. Ittry kong itawag sa hotline nila. Sayang ang dami dami ko pa naman nakabook this year. Almost every month may booking ako. Sayang ang points.

sayang at ako ang taga book samen, hindi pwede makuha points kapag hindi sayo naka- name ng flight details. ano ba un!

Thank you for the information sis sofiemae.  nagregister na ako sa upper right portion zero(0)  ang points. Nag click ako  sa missing points after nga lang talaga nang travel date pwede kasi hanggang march 5 lang nakalagay dun. Dapat sana before nang travel date pwede na tutal nabili mo na naman yung ticket balak ko kasi sana yung points gamitin sa pagbili nang seat selector and prepaid baggage sa same flight din.
