I cant find the words to say
« on: September 07, 2013, 01:58:35 am »
Hi. Gusto ko lang mahingi yung insights niyo.

I'm pregnant kasi with my first child.
Wala naman akong regret sa mga nangyari and I'm very much excited sa paglabas ng little angel namin.

Dilemma ko is, I'm only 20 years old. Still in college pero 3 sems nalang din naman ang kukunin ko then I'd be able to graduate na. Yung father ng baby is 25 years old na and he has a job na. We've been seeing each other for over a year na kaso hindi pa siya nameet ng mga tao dito personally but my mom and my sister has heard a lot about him dahil sa mga kwento ko.

Ako palang kasi magkakaanak samin and to think na medyo old fashioned parents ko. Another thing is, ako yung bunso.

Any words of encouragement?

Thanks po in advance.

words of encouragement = everything is going to be alright. And your family will love your baby.

mahu-hurt sila siguro, magagalit, pero in the end it will be alright.

goodluck and congrats on your baby

i was somehow in the same sit before sis, pero I GOT THROUGH IT :) you will get through it too, at may bonus pa, your bundle of joy :)

tip: when you're ready to tell your family, muster all the courage you have and make then understand that you have accepted your situation and will survive it. pag kasi pinakita mo na mahina ka at di mo alam gagawin mo, madidisappoint lang sila. let us know sis :)

Sis, what happened to you happened to my sister too. She was in 3rd year college when she got pregnant. When she found out she was pregnant she didn't come home and stayed at her BF's place dahil sobrang takot lalo na sa tatay namin. Nahinala nanay namin na that might be the reason why. My father didn't talk to my father for months pero eventually naging okay din lalo nung nakita niya na yong apo niya.

So you'll be fine, just tell them the truth now. Kakastress pa naman sa buntis yong may problemang ganyan.

sis, expect na that they will get angry/disappointed at you in the beginning. but since financially able naman si bf mo at least alam mo and maipapakita nyo sa kanila na kaya nyo panindigan yung ginawa nyo. for sure, gusto na rin naman nila magka-apo, since sabi mo nga you have older siblings na wala pang mga family.

be strong sis. hopefully, this baby will become an additional inspiration for you to finish your studies and reach your personal dreams. siguro wag mo na lang sundan agad ha... you are still young.

hi sis... i went the same situation too pero medyo ibang story... i had this bf since i was 17 years old... i got married with him @19 years old... i had a very good life with him... my parents are in the province and me and my husband lived here in manila... but isang araw bigla nalang namin narealize na we really dont love each other (weird pero i dunno bakit nangyari yun) so i decided to leave the condo... stayed in an apartment alone! after about 8 months, i was invited by a friend to go "gimik" then sumama naman ako,... i was 20 years old dat time... then i met this guy (bf ko na ngayon)... hanggang sa naging bf ko and my parents/family had no idea what happened to me and my ex husband... after almost 2 years na bf gf kami napreggy ako... and all those years ang alam ng parents ko together pa kami ni ex husband... kasi tinago namin kasi ayaw namin mag alala sila... so i really dont know how to tell my mom... pagkasabi ko sa kanya "ma, im pregnant" sabi nya agad "good! magkakababy na rin kayo ni ***" and told her mama hindi si ex husband ang tatay, si bf ko ngayon matagal na kami hiwalay ni ex husband.. sorry mama. she hanged the phone and never talk to me for about 4 months... then nung 7 months preggy na ako.. sabi nya... [textspeak!] address mo sa manila... ill go there... ill take care of you while bagong panganak ka... ill take care of the expenses! thats what u call a mothers love...

dont be afraid sis... mommy mo parin yan... they'll be so much happy kasi first apo... sa una magagalit talaga yan pero later on magiging ok lahat... take care of your baby.. eat healthy... :*

you have to talk to your parents. syempre magagalit sila, tanggapin mo kasi me kasalanan ka. wag ka na lumaban or magmalaki pa. natural na reaksiyon ng magulang yun.

as sis iamshey said, eventually they will understand and accept.

Since words of encouragement and hanap mo......

Sis, babies are not called "angels" for nothing. Unless talagang evil yung parents mo, I'm sure lalambot ang puso nila sa magiging baby mo. In our judgmental society where religious values are distorted, natural lang na may maiinit ang mata sa yo. But prove them wrong by being the best parent you can be!

Just stating you the experience my cousins had. Most of them were prejudged (Kesyo daw malandi, mahilig kumerengkeng, etc.), pero nasaan na yung mga malalakas ang loob na nagsalita sa kanila o nagtsismis sa iba ng ganyan nung lumaking maayos ang mga anak nila? Wala, tumahimik na lang.

Wishing you the best! :)

For sure magagalit ang parents mo since hindi ka pa gumagraduate and you got pregnant out of wedlock, but i'm sure na everything will be alright lalo na kapag nakita na nila ang baby mo especially first apo nila. don't worry, everything will fall into place.  :)

Siguro maganda ipakilala mo muna si BF. Tapos, kausapin niya ang parents mo and family mo.

Mothers know, sabi mo 5mos ka na, malamang alam na nya, nag aantay na lang ng confirmation from you.

I was in the "almost" same situation 10 years ago. Got pregnant when I was 20, pero kilala si BF (now husband) ng family kasi BF ko siya since HS kame. When I told my mom, sabi nya alam daw nya.

After giving birth, make sure you go back to school and graduate. Kaya mo yan! Goodluck!

Advantage ng maaga nag-anak? Yung kids namin malalaki na ngayon, to think na we are just 30, well nag-31 na ako hehe. Yung mga trip namin and nila di nag kakalayo. Bigyan kita ng examples:

  - My husband and my son who is nine (had a son naman agad a year after my first born) they play games, as in lahat ng klase, madalas NBA sa Xbox. Take note, nag kaka pikunan pa sila. LOL

- My daughter (who is now 10) and I, we love malling, singing, artsy stuff. Fans din kami ni Taylor Swift.

- As a family, we travel too, we snorkeled, rode ATVs etc. Mga kakulitan and kalokohan trip, we do these with them. Kasi nga they have young and able parents.

Kaya mo yan sis, eventually maaalala mo pag tagal bakit ka natakot nung panahong 'to. Basta finish your studies, mahirap na kasi kapag mas later pa.

Good luck ulit.

Goodluck!

Kayang kaya nyo yan. :)

This happened to me 4 years ago. 19 years old naman ako at di pa natapos. In fact, todo suporta na rin sila later on. Pero after 3 years nasundan ang panganay.

That is something you cannot delay for long kasi your tummy will just get bigger and they will eventually figure it out. The longer you delay it eh the more they will feel na niloloko mo sila. Dont worry, your parents will love you no matter what. Yes, they will be dissapointed sa umpisa, baka magalit sila, pero sa huli eh they will be there for you no matter what. As a mother of a 20 year old myself, if you were my daughter, yes I will feel so dissapointed, magagalit ako sa inis, maiiyak, pero that does not mean I dont love you. Kaya nga nagagalit ang parents eh kasi they care and love their children. You will know someday... kasi magiging mommy ka na rin.  ;D

Ano plan nyo ni BF? Pag humarap ka sa parents mo eh you need to be able to answer this questions. :) Reassure mo na rin sila na you will try your best to finish your college.

Dont worry, everything's gonna be fine. The sooner you tell them eh the sooner matatapos ang worries mo.

Guytalker here just less post....I suggest it would be better for you this early to admit and tell your parents directly of what's going with you that you're  infanticipating. Pasasaan ba yan kundi nila matatanggap at lalambot sila sa iyo.
